I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.0.2We intend to extract all relevant information and generate a consolidated file that maps each manufacturer part to its corresponding impacted end part (Commercial Reference Part, i.e., WTPart). Our system currently contains approximately 100,000 manufacturer parts, and this activity will ensure complete traceability and alignment between manufacturer parts and associated WTParts.While the query performs correctly for individual parts, it does not scale effectively for large datasets.When executed for the complete dataset of approximately 45000 manufacturer parts, the query requires more than 12 hours and still does not complete the report generation. The performance degradation makes the current approach impractical for production use or recurring data extraction activities.

Version: Windchill 12.0   Use Case: Installed CPS 12.0.2.26 Try to Stop Windchill Service (e.g. for backup purposes) Description: When I try to stop Windchill service within "Services" or by running 'sc stop "PTC Windchill"', it would not stop correctly.  In "Services" I get an Error 1053:   'sc stop "PTC Windchill"' just reports "STOP PENDING", but nothing more (no additional error message).   After around 4 minutes, the service finally stops, but I guess, that windows just terminates all corresponding processes after a certain time.   MethodServer.log reports several [Servlet engine stop] wt.system.err - WARNING: The web application [Windchill] appears to have started a thread named [xyz] but has failed to stop it. This is very likely to create a memory leak. Stack trace of thread:   I updated JDK vom 11.0.13 to 11.0.30, but nothing changed.  

Version: Windchill 13.1 Use Case: for a new version of a tool we provide, we want to create a custom page with multiple tabs. currently we used classic simple html / javascript - but we want to upgrade to mvc components to maintain more the "windchill ui look"Description: at first I thought about using a custom wizard.a wizard has in general multiple tabs - but the concept isn't really matching as the tool should have tabs for different manage actions / checks. wizards reflect more a step by step process.I'm looking for a way to build a page like the windchill object detail pages.For tool I'm planning about 5 fixed tabs. each tab would have multiple tables, radios, checkboxes and input fields.Any suggestion how to achieve this?thanks in advance!

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I have noticed it is possible to allocate the same part instance object into multiple different parent part instances.Description: In reality, this would never happen. It should only be possible for a part instance to be allocated into one parent part instance. Does anybody know if it is possible to prevent Windchill from assigning a single part instance into multiple different parent part instances?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.4windy.MiscLogEvents has 19M records and DB has gown 100% in size in the last 3-4 months. CS178198 states to contact support if >10M records. Need assistance cleaning out the table and fixing maintenance routine to auto-purge.Here are the errors that I facedNo errors; just table size issue.

Millions of files and there is bound to be some errors. 6 in fact which blocks me removing an old vault.  They are all "public_params.xml" files that show up in the vault but will not move. I ran WTContenVerify and it reports back Business object missing. So I get that I have a valid FVItem but the object its tied to is done, a Derived Image. Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Searching for the latest document in Windchill Desktop Integration in officeDescription: The DTI feature in MS Office, for us rarely open as a list of documents, so we use the search feature. The standard search setting is though to show all revisions of a document. This clutters the output and easily gets users to chose the non-latest revision.  Where can this preference be set?  

How do I get the folder ID? Right now I am trying to use the Windchill REST Services site where it generates the request and response for you. I assume that under the data administration domain you can get folders from a container using /Containers{'ContainerID'}'/Folders but it seems like none of the folders show up when I provide the ContainerID for an organization. Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Using the + sign on multi-valued attributes with enumeration or pick list is an awful UX design. Has anyone built a data utility or interface JSP to populate using drop down checklist or a multi-select check list (like the type manager has). Description: when selecting multiple values for an attribute, there is a + (plus) sign to add another row to pick more values.   All other interfaces in the world (including type selection in the search ) us pull-down checkboxes, or pick list    has anyone already built the customization to do this that can be easily plugged in.  (Hopefully would be universal to handle any attribute)

I have created a data utility on an attribute which opens a jsp when clicked. Now in this jsp i've created a wizard and added a wizard step. In the wizard step I have 2 table builders, so when i click on the Ok button i want to get the selected objects. But I'm unable to call a form processor on this wizard.

When I go into WindChill it shows me logged in for a second but then the message "plm.epdm.army.mil says : You do not have access to this object or it does not exist." I am then kicked out of the website and unsure who/how to contact for support. I checked My Access ePDM and all my access is still approved and up to date. I've been using WindChill with no issue for 3-4 months now until yesterday when this issue fist occurred.
