This would include help tutorial pages on how to do common business specific tasks, using business specific language. The idea of this is to reduce the amount of time it takes to bring new users up to speed, and to reduce the amount of time spent supporting users on tasks that they don't do very often. Hello,I would like to know if anybody tried to use Windchill with docker containers?I saw last year PTC event in Boston that R&D is thinking about it, but did not get any feedback yet.Today we are using a lot of VM for developers and tests systems.Painful part with VM is that if I want to be sure that all VM are up2date with OS patches, Oracle patches, Windchill content ... I need to ask all people to checkout the new VM every month.The idea will be to create docker containers, probably 8, like that :This will allow me to distribute OS update, Oracle update, new windchill content through Oracle datafiles update easily.People will just have to update their dependencies and the update will be invisible for them.Any idea, comment is welcomed.Thanks,Morgan

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS16We have a Windchill Clustered environment having 4 different nodes (Windows based servers) forming the cluster. We are experiencing an INTERMITTENT issue, wherein some of the users are complaining about not being able to view the information about the tasks assigned to them, Wherein the information is masked with text "Secured Information". We believe this is happening due to the reason that the task assigned to the user involves a document which is protected by some Security Labels because when we navigate to the document and check Access (Actions -> Edit Access Control) we observed that access is restricted by the Security Label. Now, we have double checked each of the agreements related to the document and observed that the concerned users are in the list of Authorised Participants (being part of a user group) for each agreement and the document (relevant Latest Version) exists as Authorised Objects for tho

Import from spreadsheet does not allow import of attributes with cascading "Hidden" rules As for the workarounds:“Disable the condition definition for the IBA’s required/hidden constraint, thus the validation code will not be invoked”: removing the rule allows the import. But we cannot remove/introduce the cascading rule each time there is an import from spreadsheet. We have a requirement of enabling grandfather revision for EPMDocument when imported to Windchill from source to target Windchill system.For example: If the revision for the EPMDocument is A in the source system it should have new revision as AA, AB, AC..., AZ on the target system after importing and revising.Similarly, if it is B it should have new revision as BA, BB, BC..., BZ on the target system after importing and revising.Is there any way to achieve this custom revision?

Hi, Windchill 11.1 M020, MPMLink I've created an mBOM, process plan with operations, representations and I can generate the work instructions as HTML pages. Are they stored somewhere and associated to either the process plan or the product variant itself? I can't find it anywhere.If not and as a short description states they're "dynamically generated" then how it's supposed to work on the shopfloor? How is the operator supposed to generate the correct set of instructions for the order they receive? Best regards
