Is it possible to get the license type of a user in Query Builder?

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: need Technical Data Package(TDP) icon+url on a part subtype layoutDescription:  I can see the TDP in advanced search results, but how to get the same TDP icon onto a Part subtype layout?

Can anyone recommend where to obtain free classification images (fasteners, etc.)?

We are using Windchill PDM link 10.2 and we are investigating if the use of Partslink brings any added value for our company.Therefore i am on a testenvironmant looking how and what can be done with Partslink for catalogue parts.During the creating of a WTpart you can select the creating classification items.During the selecting of the classification criteria is there any possibility to add the exiting image from the selected class?The image is automatically shown if you do a search request for existing items, but it would be a great help for the users if they can see the same image during creation of new items??Thanks for the support.Regards

Version: Windchill 12.1   Use Case: We have custom jsp pages for workflows and would like to have a couple of popups to help guide users in what is expected. Description: Let's say we have an attribute called "Validation" and we want to have an information popup to explain how this should be done.  How would I do this in the custom jsp template?  Kind of like on the page to create this there is an "i" next to Message Tags and Labels.

I would like to know if there are any certifications that could be taken up for either Windchill or FlexPLM. The ones under PTC University are good, but it doesn't have on FlexPLM and on Windchill also needs credits.

Hi,  I have created a Part with design view, which is having revision -.1 Then I have created a manufacturing view of same part, it has revision -.-.1 , which should be same as design view.  Further, I independently created a part with manufacturing view, it has a correct revision -.1

When connecting to a server in Creo software, a pop-up prompt appears：The winchill license for server XXX is insufficient, and the connection to the server is denied.Is there a problem with the license? We manage data by listing the data checked in to Windchill in Excel. When searching for file names organized in Excel in Windchill, it is very difficult to copy and search each file one by one. ex) A1 cs01 > copy > search .. A10000 ecw01 copy > search .. Is there a way in Windchill to search through file name lists organized in Excel or a large list of names organized in other documents at once? ex) A1 cs01, A2 cs02 ... A9999 dev0990 A10000 dcw01 > ( A row copy ) > cs01cs02..dev0990dcw01 > search Or, is there a way to import an Excel file into Windchill and search through the contents of Excel?

WGM is not supporting Autodesk Naviworks tool. I am interested to know if any customer successfully implemented any custom solution from third parties to integrate Naviworks with Windchill? 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS09We are finding in Windchill production that we are filling the vault directory up and it seems like the size seems big. We are seeing where the vault fills in two weeks and last time it filled the PTC person said it was documents. I was also wondering if re publishing the thumbnails would cause this vault to fill up. I would like to know how to minimize the grow and was wondering if republishing tumbnails would cause this. Let me know.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Document publication information (Promotion Date, Resolution Datee and Approvers) comes from windchill processes (PR ve CN) needs written to the drawing when the processes (Promotion Request and Change Notice) is completed.Description: We want to add the promotion date and the person who approved to our Creo drawing. We want this information to be written on the drawing template when the PR approved and document is released. Similarly, when the change process is started on this document, we want to see the resolution date on the drawing.I have seen cases for the promotion date. Although we managed to include it for the first publication, we could not write the resolution date and the user name who approved the change to the drawing as a result of the change notification.We used the following for promotionpromote.approvers and promote.promotionDate. We are working on a task where it should have an input attribute with a suggestion box on a workflow task item.I have created the data utility for the suggestion box. I need clue how to map it with my workflow variable(it is not straight forward as i do for type and attribute)Kindly guide me
