Hello, I would like to know how to add a custom button in the user interface next to the "Quick link" button.The button must then be able to execute Java code developed by me.How can I do it?

Hi,I try to include a calculated attributes in a Report, but even if I'm able to view in the detail page there is no value in the report.How can I do that?

Planning a system upgrade with Windchill 12 to 13 as well. Looking to see who has been down this road ahead of me and to share feedback. Specifically these questions: 1. Will Navigate 9.6 work with Windchill 12.0.2 CPS8? Or will it fail since CPS is not current? If it does work, it would be great since I do not need to upgrade both at the same time. 2. Does upgrade in place alter or update the database? Just need to know in rehearsals if DB has to be reset as well.  3. Will any custom apps be an issue? I have a few in there. Just checking if there are any special concerns here.

Version: Windchill 12.1   Use Case: We want a manual input value for creating a large Part Structure. Where may be more that 500 new Parts should be created at once. Later we can modify the attributes and once completed can directly create BOM from there. Description: Current New Multiple Part creation functionality includes adding 5 rows at once. So to create thousands of items at once it will take lot of time.   This is required because part number we have to keep in sequence for all parts.   If we use 5 rows. there could be a possibility that some other user adds parts during that time and automatically system will not take number in sequence.   So if there is any preference or some kind of code which can be written to change the row adding behavior can help.   You can refer screenshot to understand what i mean.   Regards, Jignesh  

We need to configure a business process in which we are using the Default "Promotion Request Approval Process" that is available OOTB. We want to stop the users from selecting themselves as an Approver in the Promotion Process.PTC Tech support said this isn't possible. But doesn't this kill the process by itself? When the process isn't fool proof to stop the user selecting himself as an approver what is the use of it then? Is this achievable through any configuration options?Thanks in advance!

Hello, is there any OOTB functionality to disable creating a Change Notice on a version of an object which is already present in the Resulting Objects of another Change Notice?Because it can be quite a common business requirement that if there is an ongoing change on an object, I don't want to add another change on it before completing one change.Regards,Om Panchdhane

The Swagger API allows to do that by using the searchObjects Web service. However, there is, to my knowledge, no web service allowing to do that in OData. Greetings, When I want to create the connector base on ThingTemplate: PTC.WCODataConnectorThingTemplate , it shows in the log that's been created but it still lags on the save button which shows that still in the progress for saving and take time to save but it won't save so how to fix this issue to create such a connector to use the services and thanks
