Dear Community, I am implementing automated testing from jenkins and would like to upload the test cases and results in codebeamer. For this case I have tried using opensource jenkins plugins like 'xUnit uploader' and 'xUnit importer', unfortunately everytime i make the connection after first call following error message is displayed:"Codebeamer could not be reached with the provided uri/credential; IOException; get returned with statusCode:429" if i take a look on my codebeamer dashboard, I can see that jenkins tried to update the test results trends in codebeamer but didnt suceed.I have tried reconfiguring it. But somehow it didnt work. Any ideas/suggestions how this can be implemented?  

Hello team,Is there a way to put a requirement's field value inside Admin Query?Here is the case. Every ReqDoc (and nested Requirements) has a field called Level\Allowed Level (1,2,3) and traces are allowed from level to level+1 only. So during trace creation I need to execute a search for all ReqDocs where Level field value = AllowedLevel value of selected requirement. How can I get and use the value of selected object in these kind of Query?Thanks

Hello,when copy and paste image from New Outlook client it is saved as image reference URL instead of pure image.  Copy from other applications work fine.Is there any setting to fix it?thank you 

I'm using one of the default templates for exporting a word document. When I modify the word template, and try to use it for exporting a tracker, the resulting word document won't open, but a new doc is created. It says the document contains unreadable data.

Hello. I'm trying to install PTC Modeler 10.1 to my computer, with Standalone configuration, however could not manage it. Before I start, I want to inform that,- I have 2 user account (Administrator and Local User) .- I run installation module as Administrator,- I disable my Antivirus software,- I'm working in an offline environment, with my network card is enabled.  As far as I know from the installation guide, the installation module contains SQL Server Express 2019, so if I check "Local Modeler Server Instance" on installation configuration page, it will install and configure MODELER SQL instance by itself. Since I don't have SQL Server installation in my computer, I took that route. When it comes to the installation of SQL instance, it gives the error seen in "Capture_Installation_SQLServer.PNG" and rollbacks the installation.I installed SQL Server Express 2019 with all features, and SQL Server Management Studio 2019 to my computer, created default SQLEXPRESS instance and

I have installed MSSQL Server and PTC RV&S client and Admin in a virtual machine. Now the machine's hostname has been changed and have done below remediation-Got new license from PTCChanged is.properties files by replacing old hostname with new one.Changed the hostname in SQL server management studio with a query.Have checked the TCP/IP port as well.Executed the Telnet to the new hostname and sql port - workingwhat all steps do I need to follow to remediate the issue and avoid the error. How to define drop-down values for a field dynamicaly? Need a way to present different selection lists of the same field for different Requirement Documents. Like Colour (red,yellow,green) for one RD and Color (blue,green) for another. Any other ideas like playing with HTML code insertion?Thanks

Hello together,I would like to have a connection from Codebeamers "SCM Repositories" tab to my existing Git repository.But when I try to set it up: it gives me following error message (I removed parts of the URL for this post): SCM Error: fatal: unable to access 'https://[...]testspezifikation/': SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain The current connection for Codebeamer is not a https connection, but http.The gitlab connection is a https connection which is self-certified. Does Codebeamer really do not accept the self-certified certificates? In Codebeamer 2.1.0.1, I have a tracker called "Input", a tracker called "Output", and a tracker called "Result" (names have been changed for sake of this question).  Input has a downstream trace to both Output and Result and Output has a downstream trace to Result. The Result has 2 choice fields for the relationships to Input and Output called Input Trace and Output Trace.  The Output Trace also "depends on" the setting of Input Trace and the "union" is true. When creating a Result item from scratch both of those trace fields will be empty.  I can select the Input Trace values and the Output Trace list will be filtered accordingly and I can save the item. However, I do also want to be able to create a downstream reference directly from an Output item using the "R+" button.  This will automatically fill in the Output Trace field to the item from which I clicked the R+ button but the Input Trace field is empty.  I cannot save the item as-is becaus

Is it possible to add a version of an item from a specific baseline to a tracker via the API?The use case is: a test case tracker with multiple baselines -> create a test set for a specific test case tracker version.

I am using CodeBeamer 22.10-SP11 (postgresql) I am trying to export the trackers into a microsoft word file. I can only have one tracker currently for the whole table. I want to create a tracker for each row of the table. When I create a different tracker for each of the rows, when exported to the word file they get exported in such a way that it creates a new table to each of the rows. Is there any way where I have a dedicated tracker for each row entry of the table.    

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble importing updates into my Test Case Tracker in Codebeamer. The updates were made to the export I generated using the round-trip export with a custom template. This template was created by modifying the provided PTC template. However, I'm receiving an error message stating that "no updates are in the file." Below are the table from the template, an image of the updated table for reference, and the error message I'm getting. Has anyone experienced this issue before, or can anyone offer advice on how to resolve it? Whenever we are in the older version/iteration of the workitem, it is difficult for the end users to navigate to the latest version. And there is an option in Codebeamer called "Switch to head" but this does not tell the user anything. So, is there any option                 Can we rename this as "Go to Latest" which is similar to Windchill?  

Hello, Story of the Issue:While exporting dashboards to Word in Codebeamer ALM, I noticed that only some widget are successfully included in the document. Specifically, charts like Bar charts and Pie charts are not appearing in the exported word document. Please refer to the attached screenshot for reference. Codebeamer version 2.1.0.2 is deployed on an Ubuntu 22+ Linux machine. For this issue I have followed the document provided by PTC Configuring PhantomJS for codeBeamer As per the solution mentioned in the PTC document I installed PhantomJS v2.1.1 on the server. However, based on my understanding and research, PhantomJS 2.1.1 is not compatible with OpenSSL 3.x, which comes bundled with Ubuntu 22+. I suspect that this OpenSSL incompatibility might be preventing proper rendering of the charts during export. Question:Would downgrading OpenSSL to version 1.x (which is compatible with PhantomJS 2.1.1) potentially resolve this issue without causing any disruption to t

Hey everyone, is there an option in codeBeamer to summarize the tasks from diffrent sources (different task trackers, potentially in different projects) in one Kanban depiction?My use case is to show all tasks of one person (or some selected person) in a team meeting (not project meeting). Usually everyone of us has some tasks spread in several projects...  Any suggestions? Please state which version you use.
