Hello everyone,I am experiencing a problem exporting word using the procedure followed in the guide with both codebeamer version 2.2.1 and version 3.0.0https://codebeamer.com/cb/wiki/4129797I report the steps performed:1. I create an item with a description (Screen1 and screen2):2. Export to office by selecting the template "TableOfFiguresTemplate3.docx" that I previously uploaded in the documents section (I attach screen3)3. From the word I exported I do update Figures but get the following message : "No figure index entry was found." (screen 4 and screen5)Has anyone experienced the same problem? Thank you all

Hi, I have installed the PTC RV&S Server and Client 13.3.0.0 on a virtual machine whose hostname has been changed now due to other reasons. My RV&S application installation has been affected due to that as it was configured with the previous hostname.  Please let me know in which all folders I can change the hostname of the virtual machine in installation directory of RV&S server and client application.

Hello,How to use the field value of type FVA (with possible return values integer 0 or 1) to use inside a 'logic' field with computation check? In short FVA field values could be 0 or 1 only and they need to be trnasformed to present boolean values true or false for logic field.Regards

I have set up the RV&S Server and trying to connect to RV&S Client with Host name and port number but it's showing below error.What are the remediation steps? Do we need to add the port number to any properties file ?

I have installed MSSQL version 12 and trying to connect the database while installing PTC RV&S 13.0.0.0. I am getting an error while entering the database instance information - "Could not connect to database. Please verify with the Database Administrator that the database information is correct.

Use Case: In my company we moved all our date from a really outdated IMS 11.2 to 13.2. In the past people used Enterprise Architect 13.0 for their architecture and connected to IMS via the MKS SCC Connector. Now we want to continue with that integration, but we fail to activate the MKS SCC Connector. Description: I have found a CS article that explains what to do in case the the connector is not registered: https://www.ptc.com/de/support/article/cs93130   We were seemingly able to activate the connector running the IMS 13.2 client in admin mode. That resolved the error of the IMS client telling us that it cannot enter registry keys. But EA still did not react. So we followed the further instruction to manually adapt the registry keys. One thing we stumbled over was, that the CS article tells us about two dlls: mkssiscc64.dll mkssiscc.dll (I assume the 32bit version) But the IMS 13.2 only comes with mkssiscc64.dll mkssiscc_compat.dll   We tried to put that compat.dll in t

Hi dear Community, in the wikitext field of my current tracker I have the references' list to the items of another tracker, like "[ISSUE:123456] Here is the name of referenced item 1, Created: ...., Modified...., Status.,, ""[ISSUE:654321] Here is the name of referenced item 2, Created: ...., Modified...., Status.,, "etc. I need to convert this references' list to the list of NAMES of referenced items from another tracker, so that in new computed field (also wikitext) I'll get the NAMES' list like: "Here is the name of referenced item 1, Created: ...., Modified...., Status.,, ""Here is the name of referenced item 2, Created: ...., Modified...., Status.,, "etc. Which computation function / formula should be used to make this conversion? (I suppose, the function List (....) and some projections should be used). Thank you in advance for your support!

HI,I am configuring SAML SSO in Codebeamer. I Would like to allow sign up SSO and it is ok. But these new users created automatically with SSO in which gruop will be insert in? Regular user? External?Thank you! 

We need an option to convert html snippets to wikitext.Use Case: We have a frontend running an html editor. After the user has completed the formatted text in the editor, we need to convert the content to wiki/markup to post it as an item via the API to codeBeamer. In past versions, we have used POST to <baseURL>/cb/wysiwyg/convertHTMLToWiki.spr as a Workaround to get our payload in a wiki/markup format. This worked up to including version 21.09 (EMMA). Since Husky (current SP we are running is 2.0.0.5), this Request returns 403 forbidden instead. Is there another way we could do this conversion, either via API Request (there is wiki2html, so why not the other way around?) or via a helping computation in the tracker config?

Hi, As shown in CodeBeamer documents, baselines can be created for a project or a tracker.  When we retrieve a tracker using Restful API, can we specify a baseline then? The document for Restful API shows nothing related to baseline. Did I miss something here please? Thanks,

To allow for a graceful degradation of services, users who are allotted to use a Concurrent (Basic/Full) license but can't log in because the license pool is full should automatically get a login done with Collaborator license so they can at least have read only access.This also serves as a graceful reminder that more full licenses are likely needed without impacting the use of the system much.This functionality could be included in the Manage Licensing app that has support for CodeBeamer as of June 2025.

Test Steps are mandatory as it holds Actions and Expected results which will be displayed during Test Execution. But, When test document is viewed asOf Historical date or if we want to refer any Baselined document, then viewing it via Document view is of no use. All the test steps are hidden and you could see only the summary and description.       In order to manage this situation, I need to switch to Table view for viewing the Test Steps. But in case of working with the Test Document, the Test Steps are not editable from Table view, so either I need to open item in detailed view and edit it or else need to open the Test tracker in Document View and should edit from their. Its a tough situation to request the user to use Document View for editing and Table view for viewing historical information's. By default the trackers are configured either as Table or Document view. Its really make no sense to convey users to switch because of Tool functiona

But I am not able to find the link to download the installer file for RV&S Server and Client applications. And do we need separate licensing for Server and Client applications? if yes, please mention that as well. Please share a link if anyone knows.

Hello,We are currently using CB-2.1.0.5 with a MySQL database.We want to migrate to PostgreSQL and are using the Migrator Tool via Docker Images to convert the database.The conversion completes without any issues, but after updating the database in the configuration file and restarting CB, logging in either results in a blank screen or a 404 error.What could be causing this issue?

I have a custom field for Planned start date and another for Planned finish date. I would like to have another field that computes and displays the value of the time between the two dates as hours or minutes. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this working...I've gone over and over the documentation, but cannot get it right.  I think I'm close, but am missing something silly. I've got the third custom field to calculate the time between two fixed dates(the date actually in the formula, rather than strings), no issue.  The issue is when trying to use the 2x custom fields date variables -  I'm using this: timeBetween (Date(customField[0]),Date(customField[1]), "minutes") but an error appears saying 'unable to parse date [and then shows the CURRENT date/time] ' which would suggest it's not using the customField variables? Am I doing something stupid? Any help appreciated, Thanks
