Hello! everyone How to cancel proe backup fuction?

Please explain the logic behind "Add Point" & "Delete Point" options. It does not work as I expect. After I think that I have deleted points and then go to add a new point, I find out that the last point I selected did not delete. The more I continue to add & delete the more confounded the curve becomes and I almost always have to delete the whole curve and recreate it.Give me any suggestions that will save me from having to delete the whole curve in order to put new points in.example: PNT17 needs to be added to the curve.Thanks,Kevin

hi,I'm using the student version of pro engineer.it was working properly for nearly one month and,now it doesn't work..also when i open the parts created with this version with the educational version at school,it gives me error messages saying some objects created with the student version won't be displayed.is there anyway i can solve this problem...

I'm relatively new to Creo, although I have quite a bit of history with Pro/E in the release 2001 timeframe. I'm working with some simplified representations and attempting to save some screen shots (File > Save As > ...) of various states. However, the overlay that says "On-Demand Simp Rep: XXXXXX" is always hovering there and comes out in the screen shots as well. Is there any way to hide this overlay temporarily while I am making these images?Thanks,Adam

Hello,We are planning on upgrading to creo elements/pro 5 (build M090) shortly. We will be using it with PDMLink 9.1/m40We have evaluated this build and have not encountered any "show stopper" type issues. Hi,I downloaded the free version of CREO ( Creo Elements / Direct Modelling Express 4.0) today, and have been working through the quickstart projects to familularize myself.I cannot find the quickstart file needed for "position parts" (the file I cannot find is called wheels.pk2)I have searched in local disk (C:) > program files > PTC > Creo elements >direct modelling 4.0, but have been unable to find the file. Where is this file located? Is there something additional that I need to download?Thanks for your time.

We recently installed Windchill PDMLink 10.0 and I amnew to this software. How do I find a list of users that are set up in PDMLink? Is there a way to pull a User report?

I have a face in my model which needs moving a small amount in an offset fashion. The only thing is, that face has a logo on it which isn't simple to re-apply. I'd like to offset the face and preserve the logo. The would take all of 5 seconds in AutoCAD or SpaceClaim, but I'm not entirely sure of a simple solution to do this in Pro/E. Does anyone have any suggestions?Thanks

Does anyone know the unit of measure pro pipe uses for the weight/length spot in the line stock file. I would like to not use the weight/length spot in the line stock file as we drive weight through a materials file that is not used with pro pipe. Does anyone have suggestions?

Is it possible to create acylindrical coordinate system in WF4? I only see how I can create a cartesean coordinate system using an OFFSET definedin cyclindrical terms(r, theata, z) but NOT how to create a cylindrical coordinate system.Searches of theHelp CD and these forumsdid not help. Inthe forums I found severalduplicates of this question (all being answered incorrectly with "set the offesttype box to cylindrical"), but no answers that actually produce a cylindrical coordinate system.The reason Iwant a cylindrical coordinate system is that I have an analysis I am trying tocomplete withPro/Mechanica and in it, there isa radial load that I would like to apply. I am assuming that if I apply a load with itreferenced to a cylindrical coordinate system it will allow me to define an appropriate direction vector to produce the desired radial loading. Last week I notice a problem when trying to download software from PTC using Chrome. Seeing the same thing today.[cid:image001.jpg@01CCD9E1.DF836120]I'm having to resort to using I.E. to download. Which is considerably slower.I opened a call with PTC but haven't heard anything from them about the issue.Anyone else having this issue with Chrome?
