HiExcel is great for condensing information in a small space so when I have multiple input variables (+50) to my mathcad file I read those from an excel file. In MathCad 15 this excel file could be open and editable while mathcad was still able to read the values which allow for a very efficient "trial and error" workflow. (change data in excel - press ctrl F9 in mathcad. Review result and repeat as necessary) In Prime I have to close the excel file between each recalculation of the mathcad fil - do you know of any workaround or fix to this ??
Hello I wanted to know if there is any setting where we can turn off the windchill online workspace in one creo (i.e. work offline), and simultaneously work online on windchill workspace another creo. I am using creo 4.0. I know it was possible previously in creo 3 but is there any way to copy the same funcationality in creo 4.0? I would appreciate your responses.
Hi Community,(Creo 10.0.4.0)I'm setting up templates for new drawing templates and want to have a field in the title box about the export file name:1-00001234_01.stp<Part_numnber>_<Version>.stp&<parameter_name>_&<parameter_name> It looks for parameters the underscore "_" is breaking the definition, it needs a separator. What is the correct way to combine two parameters without space or with a character? Is there any markdown available for Creo tables?
"Theory and Problems of Electric Circuits", 4th edition. McGraw-Hill Companies is also very good text I found in Academia.edu. In chapter 7 it shows the impulse response of RL circuit. Mathcad Prime 10 shows it, I also stand with Mathcad side. Another is unique problem and answer of this book. My Mathcad Prime sheet shows the answer clockwise current by blue line. Red plot is above answer of clockwise direction. Challenge it.
Hi, I am experiencing this same issue. The Drag tool notices the Clash and pushes the object. When I run the analysis, it ignores this push option and just goes right though the object highlighting the clash. Is anyone at PTC looking into this issue? I want to create a template in Mathcad with a table in this specific format. I've been trying but haven't been able to find the exact method to achieve it. Could you suggest any workarounds or solutions for this?

I have a user asking if it is possible to add multiple models (not a family table) to a drawing and then create a drawing table to list all of the models associated with the drawing. Their idea is to add a drawing table that lists all of the models associated with the drawing and the model's lengths. Example: Hex bolts with different lengths but bolts are individual components and not in a family table. When a bolt is added, the table automatically updates. Let me say that I do not agree with doing things this way, but agreed to check into it for them. In my opinion, the drawing should revise each time another model is added. We are also using Windchill.
I have a parametric startscript and i it is creating a creotk.dat for the toolkit usage. Now i have a second toolkit which iam writing in the creotk.dat.Now i have the problem that i cant start the second one. It is loading in it but cant start with the message in german:Initialisierung des fremdsprachigen Programms "Name" fehlgeschlagen: Fehler PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR.I wrote the text also in the creotk.dat which already exists. Environment variable PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE is already implemented. How can say in my startscript (Powershell) that he has to implement it to parametric?
When creating the balloons, some of them end up overlapping, or even being left out of the spreadsheet, and another scenario is that, when creating the balloons in some views, you end up taking geometric references that are not visible in that view..
HelloI don't get a download email. On the emails I get theres only that trial resources link. Can you please assist?

I'm going thru the hole files editing the notes and customizing them to our needs. I got to the NPT and NPTF hole files and started looking thru the .hol definition and noticed there was no information for the DEFAULT_CALLOUT_FORMAT_DATA section. However, I'm getting the note as defined below. I'm wondering where it is getting this data as I'd like to edit it slightly. I've looked that all the possible locations a .hol file could be and don't see where it could be getting this callout data. Our hole_parameter_file_path config option is pointing into Windchill and the callout data is not defined in those files. I looked in the <loadpoint>\Common Files\text\hole location as well as my creo home location and the NPT and NPTF hole files do not exist there. Creo 8.0.0.0Thanks...
Good afternoon.I recently updated to MATHCAD PRIME 10 and started to work. This morning I realized that when a file created with the PRIME 9 is saved in PRIME 10, this cannot be opened again with the version 9. One of my office colleague receiving some work pointed me out. I honestly thought that when the PRIME versions came out files could be saved and opened with no problem. It was like that until MATHCAD 15.I tried to install in parallel MATHCAD PRIME 9, to redo the work from PRIME 9 version, but it doesn't work.Is anyone in the community encountered this issue and is there any work-around solution? Thanks in advance for the help.
I used this function to specify which matric is the longest , which is c in row 3 >> this is correct Now I need it to read the bigest number in matric c which is 78 >>> what function should I use and can it be written with the same g function I used ?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.2.0When creating a milling step with complete machining extension, the tool name (created in tool setup) and step name (named in the construction tree) do not appear in the NCL file (and then in the ISO code for the machine).
How can i make my formats save in the template, i always make all the work, save the template but when i go open, dont have any format in there, i dunno what to do anymore.i already save as template as drw, notting works, i think i am broke thats why i have so many problems in the creo.funny that one of them saved as i wanted
In Mathcad14, the calculation results are output in an array table as shown in the attached image. In this case, if you copy the output table and paste it into Excel, one value is entered into one cell. However, when you run it through a converter, calculate it in Mathcad Prime, and copy and paste the results, all the values are entered into one cell. Are there any compatibility issues with this behaviour between Mathcad and Mathcad Prime? Could you please tell me a solution? Translated by the moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mathcad14で添付図のように計算結果を配列で表に出力しています。
Hello,my Company forces me to switch from MathCAD15 to prime 10. Despite many other item I have question about logarithmic plots:How can I set that the break points for calculation are also done on a logarithmic base?It seems that the brake points still have linear steps --> almost no resolution on the low value end - even when setting "Number of Points" to 3000.
We recently upgraded from Creo 4.0 to Creo 9.0. When I open older drawings that have section views or create new section views, I now see these big "X"s all over the drawing. How do I get rid of them?
Hello. Please tell me how to move the second dimension line below the angular dimension line as on attached picture? In a usual linear dimension, it is enough to move the text to a new line in "Dimension Text" and it wraps under the line, but in angular size this does not work.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.2.0unable to distinguish between thickneess of object line and extension line on drawing in creo parametric 11.0
First, in mathcad15, the output is as shown below. The result of calculating this program in Mathcad Prime 10 through a converter is as follows. I would like to know how to deal with the error here. The error is "Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN with real values or check the units." "Scale has no units. Insert units next to the trace definition." The functions for each are as follows. Please let me know if you have any questions. Translated by the moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- まずmathcad15では下図のように出力されます。
Hello. I've been using CREO (first 7 now 10) for less than a year. I pick through stuff to get my job done. The training I received was = none. So, I want to show dual dimensions in the Measure results. Right now, set to English Inch. I want also Metric millimeter as well. I click on the "open options dialog box" and only see option for one unit. Does CREO 10 allow for multiple units displayed during Measure command. I searched System Options and even the search bar. I didn't find anything. That is why I'm here. Please note I am not asking for dual dimensions for drawings. I know this is an option. Just Measure tool results display. I hate having to use calculator for every measurement. Thanks
