As soon as I add "DEFAULT_CALLOUT_FORMAT_DATA" to the ISO.hol file, Creo 5.0.6 does not open that file and is not visible in hole dialog. I do not add anything else. Anyone knows why this is happening?

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownI am opening this on behalf of Schaefer. I work with Cforward their IT company and we have a user using Mathcad and saving issues..."On multiple occasions, I have copied a MathCAD sheet into a new folder. I work in the new file, save, and then come back to work on it days later and it reverts back to the original form that was copied into the folder initially."Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

The issue that I am experiencing might be an old and known issue but I just can't seem to find a solution. I have been using Mathcad for the last 15 years with the licensing and support being maintained by my employer. I have a locked license which I need to transfer to my new PC.My employer however did not renew the support account so I cannot access any help or advice from there. I was really hoping someone can assist me as I am unable to use the software at the moment although an active license exists. The host ID just need to change.  I tried looking up the existing license/host ID/contract number etc but nothing could be found. Any suggestions or assistance would really be appreciated 

 I am looking for an implementation of a program for curve fitting. I have already achieved a good approximation using the genfit function. Currently, I am trying to improve the fit further by using a routine with while loops that iteratively adjusts the three variables to achieve a better approximation. However, when I start the loop, it runs indefinitely and fails to find a solution. Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

Is there a way to include the combination states of multiple subassemblies in the a PVZ export of the parent assembly in Creo 9?

Hi, in the what's new for Creo View Adapter 10.1, it is stated that:SolidWorks – Support Assembly Feature, Flexible Feature & Virtual (Embedded) Components for Windchill Structure Visualizationhowever, in our current testing, Assembly/flexible features seem to work well, but for virtual embedded components this does not seem to be changed or any better than previous versions.   It says that there is no extra config needed, so I'm wondering if there is a certain Windchill version that is also needed? currently running 12.0.2.21 and Creo View adaptors 10.1 - maybe 13.0.1 is needed?

Someone today asked me if you can find out what specific hatch pattern that a component is using? I am at a loss. I'm on Creo 8. Just as an example on one of my drawings, I have whatever the standard hatch is, just iron.  I personally don't care for my drawings, but I'm just trying to help someone out.   On an existing drawing, can you interogate the hatch pattern and determine which one each component is using?      

If I have a more complicated equation and want to find its derivative using a symbolic tool, how can I do that? For example, with a simple function like F = k*x, the derivative is easy, but for more complex functions, it can be very time-consuming. 

Hello all,I found out the WRITEEXCEL generate excel file with wrong time stamp. This is my worksheet.test1.xlsx is a simple file, that contain 4x3 information. Timestamp generated is 28 March 2009. Anyone facing the same issue? Regards

I retrieve model with ProMdlnameretrieve but I am not able to display it using toolkit. I used ProMdlDisplay but still it does not work it stays in active session but do not get displayed in window. What should I do?

i working with an assembly in that assembly i activate one part to put a hole. in that process while active command on, i did hid some of the parts of assembly. after exiting the activate command the hidden commands are not showing whats wrong with that please help me i attached the image i cant unhide the parts

Is there a best way to import STL or OBJ files (mainly used for 3D printing) in CREO Parametric?I was not able to get parts with a smooth finish by using the OPEN function, those little triangles do not translate well to a nice finished surface, they look really ugly and blocky after I export/save them using the Shrinkwrap option. Even on level 10 for Shrinkwrap they still look awful in the end! Wish they had level 100 in there...Is there a better way to obtain a CREO part starting with an STL or OBJ file?Thank you!(I really hope I chose the correct location for this message)

I am using CFFT for calculations in Mathcad 14. Mathcad Prime 10 recommends using dtf rather than CFFT. However, CFFT and dft have different scaling. Hello, Looking for some help modeling an open pulley system using mechanisms.  We have a door that is opened and closed via an linear actuator and a pully system.  We want to model the pulley system accurately as it goes around the pullies to better understand chain length and actuator location.   Big question is can you do this type of constraining in creo?  No sure how to have the chain route around the pullies as the contact location will change as the door opens and closes. Any help would be great! Using creo 8.0
