 When using the root function of Mathcad with more than two parameters, an error occurs. It seems to be a bug. Does anyone have a solution? A simplified example of this issue is printed and attached as an mcdx file. In the original Mathcad sheet where I found this error, this function is used in an advanced routine with parameters in arrays and with dimensions. This function worked fine in previous versions of Mathcad.

Hello, does anyone know which is the best way to orient a 3D model normal to a specific selected surface in Creo View?

I am new to Creo View and after having been used to Solidworks, I could easily view an object perpendicular to itself by using a 'View Normal' command. It could be any face such as a bolt head, a square etc. But in creo view, I am finding it difficult to view objects normally and hence I am not able to view their alignment properly as I cant find the 'View Normal' option. Can anyone please help me with this. It is very difficult rather impossible to manually orient it to view it normally. Shift +N is used in Creo Parametric but what to do to "View Normally "in Creo View.Thanks in advance.

A weld symbol on a drawing specifies all around but it needs to be changed. The weld symbol was created in older version of Creo (4.0 or Wildfire 5.0) but where is this option located so it can be removed.. What is being overlooked?

I am trying to run a structure mode analysis for a support plate assembly i have put together. Ive put together an assembly (fully constrained, and all part materials are defined) but I keep getting errors saying that i have cracks in my model.  This prevents me from running any sort of simulation. Ive looked online as to what creo means by cracks and from what i see.  "A crack exists in the model, probably caused by adjacent placement of free or contactinterfaces and bonded interfaces in a configuration that results in multiple coincidentcurves connecting the same pair of nodes. Please modify the interfaces to avoid this."Im unsure of what to do since everything is fully constrained.  nothing is overlapping or has any duplicate parts, and i cant really put the braze in that will hold everything together when this is manufactured. because of this, alot of the assembly has .002 or the like spacing.

Hi All, We have recently carried out some testing on a system which has generated quite a bit of data on a spreadsheet. A calculation was set up to prove the original operation, but since there is now data, our client would it processed. Is there a way to obtain data from an excel spread sheet (one column), put a single value (one cell of the column), process via mathcad calculation and then export the cell to another spread sheet with the result variable desired?

I want to repeat certain steps in side a program in Mathcad. Is it possible?For example in a beam cross section i will fill the bars in one layer until the spacing of the bars is not less then minimum spacing and then i will check if the design moment is less than or equal to resisting moment. If not i have to repeat certain steps and place the bars in more than one layers until the design moment is almost equal to resisting moment. I have a program to place the bars in one layer, how can i tell mathcad programming  to repeat these steps for the second and third layers?

The color displayed in Creo is inconsistent with the color when exporting STP and other files using UG, especially when opening with Creo. I have checked the "Appearance and Layer" option during export, but tried many methods but it was not effective. This is very troublesome for me. Using Prime 9.0Hello,I have an Excel program with VBA code. When you click the "Calculate This Tab" button, it configures the input values in the designated Mathcad sheet (relative file path in cell D3) , and calculates the outputs accordingly. The point is that these values can easily be changed from Excel and the outputs are calculated based on the latest values and outputted back to Excel. The real program is working on a much larger scale, but I created a small scale version for simplicity here.The problem I am having is when trying to output a Matrix back to Excel. I have not been able to get it to work in a seamless way. One thing I have tried is writing the Matrix output to a temporary csv file and then importing the data into excel through a sub function defined in the VBA code. This sort of works, but the problem with this is that the WRITECSV() function in Mathcad does not update when I run the macro from Excel even if I assign it as an Output like the others. I have some old custom symbols that I have used throughout the years. Did something change in Creo 9 as to how the parameters are edited/filled in? If I load the template custom symbol, I do not get the various parameters to fill in (or at least I am not aware of their presence). When I copy and paste a custom symbol from another drawing to a new drawing, I cannot find a way to edit the value of the parameter. When I go to redefine, this is the name of the parameter shown.   \fillet_leg1_OS\x\fillet_leg2_OS\ value on old: 4X EQ
