Is there anyway to enable the clock parameter in Creo 10?

Hello everyone I have been trying to study the dynamic response of a vertical cylindric pile partly submerged in the sea and resting on the seabed, using Mathcad Prime 8.0. I have implemented the 1D dynamic beam equation as described at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euler%E2%80%93Bernoulli_beam_theory The pile is free at the top, held laterally in place at height H and simply supported at the base (with a lateral spring). I have defined the following boundary conditions. w and v are deflection and curvature. The units look correct to me. Besides, making the sheet unitless does not solve the problem.Could anyone point me towards the solution or shed more light on what is meant by "inconsistent conditions" ? I have attached the spreadsheet and datafile for some trials.One issue I see with the file is that I(x) and q(x) have discontinuities so Mathcad may have difficulties evaluating I''(x) over the complete interval. Best regards François

Hi,I use the latest Mathcad version on a virtual machine (parallel) on my Mac Book Pro M1. The program runs smoothly so far and works excellently.Unfortunately, when I insert images using various options, despite saving them, when I reopen the document they are only displayed as a "Search images.." button.Does anyone here have an idea?Best regardsFinn

Hi,as specified in Article - CS7762it is not supported to  add an older version using As Stored dependent.did any of you managed to achieve the goal using other techniques ? what about using it in conjunction with  AddToWorkspaceAction ?  

Thought I'd give back a bit to the community, one secret weapon that I've been leveraging for quick and dirty automation is to access the asynchronous VB API through PowerShell. VB API is a .NET construct, so it's accessible through VB, C#, as well as PowerShell. API wise, it is almost 1:1 with the base J-Link package, so you are not missing out on much. You will not have Toolkit functionality, but you can in theory create Toolkit DLLs to load in via config.pro that you can invoke via the VB API.   The convenience of using PowerShell is that it is deployed by default on all machines Win7+. You may run into some compatibility issues with Powershell V2, since that was a rather primitive version compared to what we have today. Win10 deploys with Powershell 5 and above. It is also a shell environment. You do not need to compile anything or open any special program, you can literally link up in a new shell window and immediately start piloting Creo. Hello all, I am a fairly new user to Creo, so bare with me with some of the terminology, but I am having an issue with exporting a 2D sketch in Creo. When I export the file (shown in the pictures attached) and import it back into Creo the file shows up blank with only a picture of the DXF file that I was trying to make. I have tried importing the DXF on SolidWorks as well and this also results to the same issue. Does anyone know why this happening? Thank you in advance!

The system colors, for example system_geometry_color, can be set via specifications in a file. For example, I use "syscol.scl". To the best of my knowledge, there is no documentation of what parameter names are available for these settings. Equally important, it is not clear what effect setting any of these parameters will have. I'm wondering if anyone has any documentation of the following: (1) Parameter names (2) Screen elements affected by a given parameter (3) Syntax for the settings file, i.e. what alias_sec_dim_strong_color_to means, the color value ranges, etc.   I had asked this same thing as an Idea for it to be added to the Help documentation. It was pretty much ignored. I naively thought that such things would be documented and available, but that does not appear to be so.

I am using :Creo Parametric 7.0.7.0 Windows 11 Professionnal Version 22H2I have a search.pro file and I specified its location with the search_path_file option in the config.pro file. The locations contained in the search.pro file contains standard parts that will never change. My issue is that when saving an assembly, I would like to save all the parts but not the ones contained in these locations. Is it possible to achieve that and how ?

I am creating a UDF of the J1926-1 feature on the end of solid round bar.When I run the UDF on other locations, the revolves and extrudes 'flip' and do not follow the way they were created.  Using the hole command, I have been able to create the spotface, drill depth, etc without any issues.  When I run the UDF, the helical sweep cut (thread) of the feature flips. I have created other UDFs of this same feature and all appear to work correctly.  Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

I'm trying to write a short function in Prime 7.0 that will loop through data and populate multiple matrices and then stack them.Even though the matrices are the same size, I am getting a "The dimensions of these arguments do not match." error when using the stack function.I tried pulling sample matrices out of the loop and stacking them. That worked, as expected.Can you not use the stack function in a loop? Or am I missing something else?Thanks! 

Since you are only able to have your licensed account on one account unless they're connected to the same network and with a different subscription, is there a way for me to inactivate the license on one device and activate the subscription on another? Right now the account is on my desktop but I need it on my laptop.

I am using Creo Simulate Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150I have parts upon which we ran structural simulations in the past. I wish to now run a fresh simulation in assembly mode. When I have my assembly in session, and go to simulate, I get all these failures due to bad constraints and load sets. I want to start fresh and try to use HOME / SET UP / NEW SIMULATION MODEL. However, New Simulation Model is greyed out.I also cannot delete individual constraints or loads in the model tree.

I'm trying to create a drawing of a multi-body part, with a bill of materials table, like an assembly drawing. (I've created a multi-body part as it's quicker than modelling an assembly.) I've named my bodies and created a BOM table using one of the built-in templates, which generates a unique item number per line, but I can't figure out how to make these item numbers appear as balloon notes.'Create balloons' on the toolbar only seems to work for components, not bodies.Is there a way to make this work?  Or do you just have to create manual balloon notes?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0In my main assembly I am trying to assemble jumpers assembly as a flexible component. Earthing jumpers are two sub-components, so I am trying to assemble in different lengths and directions. I am able to constrain distance and it works fine, but direction of the subcomponents will be different, I cannot rotate subcomponents, only earthing jumper rotates. For example, in the first position Earthing jumpers have two subcomponents, component 1 should have an angle offset of 35 degrees and component 2 should have an angle off set of 65 degrees. In the second position, in the same way, component 1 of Earthing jumpers should have an angle off set of 45 degrees and component 2 should have an angle off set of 25 degrees. Let me know what is the best way to keep them consistent.

Dear PTC Team, I have created & modifed on Huge ASsembly file for one of my project. After couple of days, While Opening same Assembly file again for some modification, Creo 10.0.2 software keep getting crash. Do you have any solutions for such Crashes.

I was looking at the sample worksheet (PDF) posted on the PTC website and I created a (supposed to be) matching MathCAD Prime 7.0 worksheet. https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Building-Structural-Design-Single-Span-Beams-Shear-and-Moment/td-p/450598  Almost everything matches the sample PDF results...the Shear values, shear graph, and maximum Moment. BUT the moment function and graph points are way off. I've skimmed over everything multiple times and I can't see any typos or errors.Can anyone see where the error is? Thanks!

This occurs when clicking "OK"  or deleting datum planes,  the Regeneration Progress window overlays Creo and wont let me continue. Solution is still to end it all through task manager and deal with the file loss. I don't want to run into this problem in the future when I'm working on something much more time consuming, does anyone know of a solution?Thank you for looking into this for me.      

 I would like to know how to import the CSV data into MODS when I generate several combinations in other software, in this case it would be several points, but Creo comments that the imported data is wrong, would there be a correct way to import?

I had the following request in today from a customer. How do I delete the references used in an NC step, Using the references right mouse click doesn't allow the option. Customer on Creo 4 F000, I have also tested on 10.0.2.0.Only way seems to be to edit the Tool Motion entries.

a) Does anyone have experience with the stability and performance of Creo Parametric on an Intel Core-i9-13900 or 14900 CPU? b) what motherboard and chipset is advised?c) There is also a chipset which supports ECC RAM memory.  Is it needed for a good stability of Creo ?d) Is ECC RAM needed for a good stability of Creo Simulation Live ?e) How is the sound level? The middle mouse button does not complete the feature (example line chain).  I was on Creo Parametric 9.0 and just downloaded 10.0 both the student edition.  It was happening on the tail end of 9.0 and continued in 10.0
