How do work with several functions one would be f(t) and another would be g(t-tau)? Mathcad Prime 9 doesn't let me use a delay. Any suggestions?
In Mathcad prime I added a plot that needs y axis in the logorithmic scale, which I can do, but values below a certain point are meaningless and destroy the shape of the plot. Is it possible to set the Y axis limits in a Mathcad Prime 7 plot? Grid lines would also be great.
Team, I Would like to Create a ordinate dimensions automatically, after finding the flat view in drawing... 1. code need to find out the Flat View is present or not2. need to create automatic ordinate dimensions for the view Please help me to solve my problemplatform: CREO 4.0 M140 / toolkit C++
Creating a new part by mirror in an assembly, but there is a missing option (or I can't find it). In past versions, Pro/E, you had the option to include the datums. I don't remember what the menu pick was called exactly, (you could choose "Reference", meaning dependent, and with or without datums), but the result was a new part, geometry only, and it included mirrored datum planes from the original. That way you have something to use for alignment etc when you put the part in other places. In Creo 9, there is the option to mirror "Geometry with Features", but that is not dependent, so it won't update with the original. Does anyone know how to mirror the Geometry and include the datums? Or to make the "Geometry with Features" dependent?
Is there any way to speed up 3D rendering in Creo View? I am working with a 4K monitor using a mid-range graphics card. Simple models render nice and smooth. However, as soon as it gets into the realm of some 100,000 polygons, the FPS drops off a lot. The only view mode where I can rotate even very complex models smoothly is Wireframe, so it could be that the hidden line calculation is the problem. In Creo Parametric, there seems to be a setting on this: "Fast hidden lines removal", see below. Is there anything I can do to Creo View to improve the issue? To Improve Dynamic Display QualityYou can reduce the amount of calculation that the system performs when dynamically orienting a shaded model by controlling the level of detail at which surfaces are displayed. The result is that the movements of the model appear smoother and better synchronized with the driving force. The effectiveness of using levels of detail (LODs) in a model is dependent on the configuration of
With Creo Illustrate, is it possible to export sections with hatched section faces as a vectorial PDF, including the hatching? In other words, in the exported PDF all lines, including the hatching, should be vector lines, not bitmaps?
Using Creo 9 and Windchill 12.0.2.7. I use linenumbers from Windchill that feed my drawingtable. No issues. Now I want to add a note, in my assembly, that reads the linenumber value. So sessionID gets involved. So I am struggling with FID_N and SessionID but I cannot get it to work.it works fine to read component parameter, but since a linenumber is an upstream assembly featire, I cannot get the correct the linenumber in my note. See .png attached. Is this possible?
Hello,Is it possible to create a callout within an inset? So the leader line should end within the inset area. Now, when I select an object within the inset and attach a callout to it, then the leader line of the inset points to the corresponding object in the main model, but not to the part within the inset. Because the inset is much more detailed it is better visible where the leader line of the callout points to.We use this functionality a lot within our company, so this question is quite important to us.Thanks in advance for your answer!
Is there a detailed tutorial on how to create and use explode lines? Explode lines are not intuitive and and seem sprout from unlikely places.. which makes them a PIA. i never end up using them and end up creating my own...
The attached file ends with a division of mass/mass; yet, the result is not unitless. Please help. Please ignore if I have a concept wrong. The unitless result is driving me crazy.😩 Thanks for your help.
Hi, I'm attempting to use conditional formatting to determine whether values meet certain criteria within a matrix, and then based on those results, manipulate the values within the matrix by certain formulas embedded within the if/then statements. Right now I have the contents of the original matrix (output from the embedded excel file), and I'm attempting to use a separate variable (Mcalc) to use step functions to move in both directions within the matrix to identify each value within the matrix to confirm whether it meets certain criteria. I believe I'm getting hung up on the portion where I'm trying to use two separate step functions within the definition of a single variable. My other question relates to the embedded excel I have within the document. Is there any way to perform the calculation I have within the embedded excel (a simple formula that references two separate vectors of different lengths) outside of excel? Thanks in advance, &n
Is there a way in Creo 9.0.4.0 to turn the words back on along with the icons? Is there a printout of the list of icons and what they mean?
Hello, I am trying to leverage Mathcad Prime's symbolic solve as an intermediary between FBD equations and a function to evaluate results. I am missing how to "push" the symbolic evaluation into a function as shown in the attached.
Can someone please help and tell me how to calculate or find the values of " exponent " here (attached) ??Thanks a lot ...

Hello,Is it possible to only display the annotations (mainly for dimensions) in the drawing tree for Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0 ?In the example below, I would like to only see what is in the "Annotations" without depending on their view.
We have been suffering from an issue with saving files back to the network over VPN. While I accept the limitations of VPN there are some significant delays with Creo v8 (and also seen earlier) when saving into a folder that already contains many other files - the delay gets worse with the larger number of files in a folder. What is notable is that if we save a new or the same part to a new folder the time is greatly reduced. We have tried testing with a default config file and it made no difference. What is also notable is that the first time you first go to open a file from a folder with many files it also takes ages to iterate and display the files to browse.Saving larger files from other applications is much faster and we can transfer mb's in seconds - saving 600kb in Creo can take over a minute at times.I am open to suggestions as to how to resolve this?
Hello Simplified Representations aren't all that simplified. If you have an assembly with a lot of patterned parts, you have to arduously include and exclude them manually, one by one. And then when you make a drawing using those Simpreps, the BOM table changes. Styles are an order of magnitude simpler to handle, and less confusing. Plus you can set if they should be shaded, transparent, wireframe or whatever. I would very much prefer to assign a Style to a drawing view.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Hi,My customer want to know how to import rhino model (.3dm) contains attribute user texts into creo and want to access attribute user text properties inside Creo for navigation .
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.8.0Hello,I experienced something weird with Creo 7.0.8.0 and Windchill 12.0.2.1 :When I save and upload a CAD, if I am quick enough to create a new part while the upload is running, Creo crashes with a fatal error. This problem is easily reproducible (only need to be fast).Any idea what is the cause of this issue? Is there any way to tell Creo and/or Windchill not to start a download (in this case, the startpart) while another server operation is running (in this cas uploading a CAD)Thank you in advance
Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the simulated fasteners feature within simulate but I am having trouble understanding the values that are being generated and output within the .RPT files. Please could someone help me understand the units it generates the results in and there magnitude. Are the results related to the principal system units? If so how? Or is some conversion needed? For example say may principle system units are: millimeter Kilogram Sec (mmKs) And my reference results for a fastener are:Fastener1_axial_force: -3.623420e+02Fastener1_axial_stress: -1.921483e+01Fastener1_bending_moment: 6.681525e+03Fastener1_bending_stress: 5.784788e+02Fastener1_intf_bend_momt: 7.016585e+04Fastener1_intf_norm_forc: -3.369641e+03Fastener1_intf_shr_forc: 3.136455e+04Fastener1_intf_tors_momt: 8.245580e+04Fastener1_sep_stress: 7.248065e+02Fastener1_shear_force: 2.094341e+03Fastener1_shear_stress: 1.110620e+02Fastener1_torsion_moment: 7.680219e+02Fastener1_torsion_stress: 3.324723e+0
Hi,We are planning to develop a Creo utility and we have chosen to go with VB api since it contains the required APIs that covers all of our requirements. But the doubt is can we use VB api in C# since it is a COM library. Thanks for your valuable replies.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.2.0After importing images through object OLE in the format template, the image cannot be displayed when opened again, and even after creating a drawing template using the format template, the image cannot be displayed. What is the reason? How can I import PNG images with transparent backgrounds into the format template file?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.4.0Does Creo 7.0.4.0 work with an AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 video card. The machine has 64 GB of system ram. Intel Xeon Silver 4110 CPU@ 2.10 GHz (2 processors).
