My PC was hacked and I had to rebuild it.I was trying to reinstall the free user version and it tells me the number of licenses has been exceeded.I am retired and I love to solve problems using this tool. I have been a user for a lot of years before I retired.

Wow, is it THAT time again?  Seems like this was first talked about back in...what, 2014 or so?  And STILL no fix?  Time to talk about how the notes that come from the hole feature are completely unusable out of the box.  We use decimal callouts for inch threads (i.e. .250-20 UNC-2B) in EXACTLY that format, verbatim.  And, of course, the callout you get gives you garbage that you can't use.  WORSE, and we just found this out, is that the ACTUAL GEOMETRY of the threads where the major diameter runs out to 4 places, are actually ROUNDED, i.e. .3125 gets rounded to .313.  Oh, even better, is the fact that you can't change this.  This, needless to say, is NOT to ASME Y14.6-2001 Paragraph 3.2.1.3 which specifies that these fractional threads like this that run out to 4 places are defined correctly, and that fractional threads that end at 3 digits have the zero as the 4th digit get that zero truncated.  Trying to modify the table file seems to do

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM030I have written utility for the Windchill- Creo Interaction.In between for some CAD objects having Generic is Yes or Instance is Yes. For those objects, Utility is giving some exception.So, I want to run my utility without Checkout and Check-In.Any API help please.Writing Utility behind is, I am moving one of the Attribute values to another attribute. Hi Guys, need your help!. I am trying to create a spreadsheet in mathcad to calculate shaft. So far, I've been able to create shear and moment diagrams for the kength of the shaft using singularity functions. Now, I am stucked in deflections and slope. I am considering Castigliano's theorem to do it without success.... Castigliano's theorem uses a Heaviside Function and dummy loads at any point on the length of the beam/shaft... First, I defined the heaviside function and then put into the moment equation but then I couldnt do the partial derivate of this equation with respect  the dummy load Q, so I had to do it manually (this way the spreadsheet is no longer parametric and will create errors if I change some inputs values). Then when having all the equations to go for integration, it seems that something is undefined..    do you think there is a fancy way to do this?. At this point I am bit frustraded I don't know where the problem is.. Another thing is,

Hello everyone!I have been using MATHCAD for decades, and since 2015 I have been working hard on MATHCAD 15 which I am enthusiastic about and continue to use. In view of a crash of the more than ten years old system on which it is installed, I tried to install MATHCAD 15 on a new machine, using the version stored on a pendrive. After installation and launch, it asks me for the license that I downloaded from the 2018 email attachment when I requested a new license. Unfortunately it is not recognized. I have installed Creo 7.0.10.0 in new laptop. But when I launch Creo Parametric I'm getting 2 Windchill login windows. This was not happening before. I used to get one Windchill login window in the past.Could you some one help on this issue?

i have a model with a conduit and because of the virtual point it creates because of a goofy angle said point is way out in left field which influences the model size and then in the drawings it pushes my dimensions also way out into left field. is there a setting so the drawing dimensions ignore the model size? thanks

Hi All, Not sure if this is possible in CREO but I was looking to pattern a feature between 2 planes, so if you change the instance it will adjust the spacing automatically. Not a complicated thing to calculate manually but was curious whether the software can do this automatically within the pattern feature.  TIA.

I have a legal 32 bit CD for Mathcad Prime 2 that I used for many years on my old laptop which had Windows 8 OS. Microsoft does not support Windows 8 anymore. So, I bought a new laptop which has Windows 11 OS, 64-bit machine. I also have legal 64 bit CD with Product Code for the Mathcad Prime 2. I installed it on my new laptop but having hard time getting the License Key. Therefore, I will appreciate if someone from the PTC or the PTC community could help get the License Key!      

I have a symbol that is used as part of the drawing template and is tied to the origin 0,0 for a template.  When designing or copying another symbol a user can set any text or lines with respect to an origin or 0,0.  If one were to insert the symbol at absolute 0,0  the symbol will be inserted exactly in the correct location.  However, if a user were then to "redefine" the symbol it then opens the editing tool but the symbol is now centered and there is a new origin that is different.  What gives?If I were to save this symbol again it would no longer place in the original origin.  It will place according to the new origin.  This makes editing a symbol almost impossible if you plan to set it at the absolute 0,0.Does anyone understand and know how to help resolve this issue?

Hello I just have been starting to use creo 7 and got this message and creo crashes. once i got this error now every time i try and open creo this message comes up and creo crashes.any help would be greatly appreciated as i am shut down and not sure how to fix this. thanks, in advance.steve f   

Hello,I am using Creo 8. By default the tail on welding symbol is displayed at symbol creation and reappear when symbol is redifined even if there is nor weld process selected  or sequence ID displayed.How to change this default setting? Thanks    

Hello, trying to install version Mathcad 8.0 but if double klick the setup.exe file it shows that something is loading, but at the end nothing happens. Then tried to install from the .msi file, it downloads some tools but at the end it doesn't work either. Funny things is that the Mathcad 7.0 Version Installation works.So whats the problem? idk
