Hi!   I want to embed a MathCad file in to word. This is possible to do in Word, however it seems that it is only possible to embedd MathCad 15, and not MathCad Prime.   Has anyone been able to embedd MathCad Prime versions into word, e.g. MathCad Prime v.8.0?

I'm having an issue where the diameter symbol is staying bold even after changing the font to legacy. Even if the dimension is created after the font change, it still is bold. The picture below shows the ASME (left) vs LEGACY (right) fonts. I can work around this by manually copying and pasting the diameter symbol from the GTOL frame to the dimension text, but this is slow and a pain on large drawings. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to report this bug to PTC for fixing

My Dell Precision workstation has a Quadro RTX5000  I spoke to an Industrial designer friend at Dell before purchasing this laptop and he said never skimp on a video card.    384 resolution on a laptop.   So I was thinking and after using it for the past few years of a few enhancements that might be noted for future releases of Creo.   I thought I would bounce this one by the folks on the forum.  So many probably don't know that if you draw a line in sketcher that you can change the linetype *ptc calls incorrectly a font .... or change color.  I want to also change the line thickness and have a few selections or even be able to increment thickness of lines.  Maybe a developer would consider an option to have the line weight pull thru surfaces or solids as if the surface or solid had a slider for opacity.   Once Creo 9.0 question:  What config.pro setting turns off the menu *always on* in creo 9.0 Bart Brejc

Hi!I've been having trouble with my mathcad license since I got it from you.Is not possible to activate the program correctly, I had this trial version.I'm considering buying the student license for a month because I need it for an univ assignment.But because of the license trouble with activating the product I'm feeling doubtful.Can you help me in some way?I've been trying to fix an account with both my school mail and private mail.school mail is esteman@kth.se, private is this one.Program only says "maximum license..."Been trying to uninstall etc, same message gets there anyway.//Johan

I've used Creo Schematics / RSD for a long time.   My understanding is this tool was developed from Medusa which is why there are .she files.  Medusa 😉   Once I asked you Jim why we cant' Cut and Paste in RSD and you mentioned we can.   So  not wanting to push further I realize maybe I'm wrong.  What I meant to state is something more specific.  So I'm editing a symbol in Schematics.  I want to cannibalize a part of one symbol and use it in another symbol.  CONT C will work in the symbol *BLOCKS I'm on but when I exit out and reach to edit another symbol CONT V or paste is not held apparently in cut paste memory.   And I meant to suggest this 15+ years ago.  Lets call it a symbol not a 'blocks'.  The word 'blocks' is to close to the word block which is part of a block diagram.   I might have wasted 20 hrs in Schematics before even noticing the S on the end 😉  Also we sho

See this image:  The distance between 45° and the curved line is huge compared to the distance between 24.5 and its straight line, making it look a bit weird and inconsistent. I have searched in the config.pro but there doesn't seem to be any setting for this. Any ideas?

Hi, I noticed in the attached sheet that I couldn't integrate a function containing vector input. The same issue came up in my solve blocks trying to find a solution for an equation with vector input. I made a work around by splitting up the vector input in individual elements. Issue: Annotations not showing in drawing Views with different combination states. There are three different annotations. I want to show two annotations in one view and the third annotation in the other view-the two views are in different combination states but of the same model (assembly).•Two different views with different combination states.•The annotations are not showing even after selecting the annotation tab and selecting show annotations. The annotations are in a part within the assembly.•In the model (an assembly) the annotations show in both combination states with no issues.•In the drawing they do not show.

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me out with this seemingly simple task.   I'm adding sketch lines to a finished 2D drawing to mark where custom cuts must be made.  How do I define the dimensions of the line, such as creating the sketch line 1 inch away from a predefined part view line?  I can snap to those lines, but I can't define a simple dimension for the distance between the two lines, or even the length of a sketch line??

Hi, I have problem with step range function when I put step which gives me array with more than 5000 elements. It gives me an error with overflowing. It is really strange for me because when I insert an array with more than 5000 elements from excel table, it works fine. So, do you know why this is happening, because 5000 elements doesn't sound too big for me. If it's overflowing, do you know other way how I can make an array with size of inserted array from excel, because it is important for me that number of elements of array can vary with using other excel tables. Thanks in advance and Best Regards!
