The traditional Creo Simulate supports distributed computing, allowing users to sent their simulation tasks to workstation servers for computationally intensive tasks.Just wondering if "Creo Ansys" supports distributed computing technology as traditional Creo Simulate does?
Hello,I have an electronic board on which I'm trying to create a surface across all the pads. I can with the projection tool into the sketch but this is very tedious. I did it on 3 pads to give you an idea, but the surface should be present on all the grey pads. This surface will be use in creo machining for programming a laser machine in order to clean the pads. I try to create a section then a curve from it but I can't fill in the curve...Do you have any ideas ? Thanks in advance
We switched to Creo Parametric 11.0.5.0 on Monday. Now we’ve noticed that when we save an assembly that hasn’t been modified, all the contained parts and assemblies that are in an older Creo version are also being saved. In one example, 160 out of 211 Creo files were saved. The config.pro save option is set to save_objects changed_and_specified. Even save_objects changed has no effect. The problem is that our document management tool “Workspaces Desktop” from the company Contact interprets this as a change and now considers all these documents as modified, wanting to save them or even re-index documents that have already been released. That would be disastrous.Has there been an adjustment on PTC’s side? This behavior was definitely different in Creo 9 and previous versions! It’s not related to versioning. That option should remain active. This is about saving files that have not been changed. We just tested again with Creo 9 using a different assembly. Same procedure: once with Creo 9, on
Hello everyone,We use Creo10.0. and Java Object Toolkit to run a macroA:~ Command `ProCmdUtilTrailTrain` < 2 0.118519 178 0 0 100 1920 0 0 1080 13 ~ Trail `UI Desktop` `UI Desktop` `DLG_PREVIEW_POST` `file_open` ~ Select `file_open` `Ph_list.Filelist` 1 `macroB.txt` ~ Command `ProFileSelPushOpen_Standard@context_dlg_open_cmd`It should call another macro - macroB.txt When we run macroA manually in Creo using "Play Trail File" it works fine. When we run it using Java Object Toolkit - RunMacro method, it opens the dialog but the last step - clicking the "Open" button - is not performed. If we watch it in the UI and click the Open button manually, it correctly calls macroB. Thank you for any hint.
Hello everyone,I’m trying to insert a brachistochrone curve into a 3D model in Creo Parametric 10 on the XY-plane using the “Curve from Equation” feature. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get it to work… The only result I get is a short straight line segment.The formula for the brachistochrone curve should be:R = 4.8 (own shoosen radius)X = R * ( T - sin(T) )Y = R * ( cos(T) - 1 )Tmax = 3.142 (= Pi)Can someone help me with this?This is what my result is:
Dear Mathcad Team,If we purchase a Mathcad "Locked License" for one PC do we have got a downgrade right to Mathcad 15 with Windows 10?The reason is that we do have a lot of Mathcad files on Mathcad 15 which cannot be converted to the current version of Mathcad as our customers in the entire world are still on Mathcad 15.Thank you.Best regards,Thomas Lemke
Hi, I'm trying to build sample app using PTC sample code as reference. Is it possible and can someone help how to select reference surfaces for skethed extrusion. Selection:pfcSelectionOptions_ptr dirSelopts = pfcSelectionOptions::Create("surface, datum");dirSelopts->SetMaxNumSels(2); pfcSelections_ptr dirSels = Session->Select(dirSelopts);Is this done correctly? How can I use selections here:localElem.CreateSelectionElem(PRO_E_STD_SEC_PLANE, 3, curModel, 1, 4, newElems);localElem.CreateSelectionElem(PRO_E_STD_SEC_PLANE_ORIENT_REF, 3, curModel, 1, 2, newElems);Or is it this simple at all? I'm using Creo 12, but I do not think it matters in this case.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.0.0We want to create a dimension table in the drawing which contains all the user defined dimensions in the drawing
Hi,I know I'm old and still use Proe WF4 + Intralink 3.4, butI have a question that maybe can be resolved.Even though I have Creo and PDM Essentials, I don't use Creo because I find PDM Essentials inflexible for my situation, but I've already explained the problems in other posts. This is the layer problem.I have a drawing with 5 or more views where I've customized the layers on and off.The layers on and off are the same for each view. With PDM, I swap a part in the assembly, where the AA layer is hidden, with another similar part that also has the AA layer. In the parts, the AA layer is always hidden.Once I regenerate the 5 views in the assembly drawing, the AA layer of the new part is visible again, while the remaining hidden ones remain hidden. Now I have to manually intervene on each view and re-hide it.QuestionEven though the two parts are practically identical (small, non-essential things like rounding and dimensions change), why does the layer reactivate in the assembly drawin
My colleague's computer can display windchill server status. My computer cannot display. How to set it to appear?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.12.0We still use a perpetual DIAGRAM license, by setting the 'enable_obsolete_modes yes' setting. We had it working a while ago but now we get the message belowHere are the errors that I facedThis functionality requires one of: DIAGRAM
Hello Everyone. From : To : How to calculate Area of Parametric (closed) Curve, the above ? ( MathCad 15 ) Thanks in advance. Regards. Loi
Creo version: all versions are affectedWe have noticed that some users are unable to open Creo through the Netskope Private Access service, while others can. All policies and private app definitions are identical. The application becomes unresponsive, and users must force-close the window to stop the process. The only difference between the two groups appears to be the Wi-Fi provider they are using.Users who connect successfully and consistently are using an iPhone hotspot, while those experiencing unstable or failed connections are using home/office Wi-Fi or an Android hotspot. The issue is reproducible when testing with the same user across different Wi-Fi sources.Has anyone encountered a similar issue?
Hi All,I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to create a new exploded view and adjust the positions of the components.I’ve created a mapkey to generate a new view, and that part works fine. However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to move the components. I don’t have access to the full toolkit, so I’m looking for creative ways to accomplish this.Any suggestions would be appreciated!
I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.4.0Can not mirror part along the plane properly in assembly if selected "Reuse existing model". Works ok if selected "Create a new model". Just toggling that option creates parts in two different locations
I am trying to write out the correct If statement that would calculate the Fb value depending on the user selected C value for whichever conservation criteria they choose. I have defined Fy and C and this Fb calculation would be down below this area to feed into further calculations in the document. EDIT: This is in Prime 11.0
Hello, beginner here! Can someone please help and tell me how I can generate a table or vector for my values a_hoch and a_l? I want Mathcad to calculate a_l dependent on a_hoch for different a_hoch. Is there any possibility Mathcad can do that so that I dont have to type everything individually? So in the picture a_hoch is 460. But I also want solutions for 461, 462, 463, and so on... I hope someone can help me. Thank You in advance!
This is my first independent attempt at a dynamic mechanism analysis.I have four horizontal sliders on a slide base that has a dove tail groove down the middle. The sliders have a rectangular shape, with straight plane faces, and are all 100 mm wide. The first slider is a servo motor, start position 0 and the end position is 900.Sliders 2, 3, 4 have start positions 200, 400 and 600 respectively, and end position 900.Distance between sliders is 100 mm.I have set Collision Detection to Global Detection and to Push Objects upon collision. My starting problem was establishing the proper 3D Contacts between the four sliders, and I made a mess of it in the end.Out of sheer desperation I added masses to all sliders (picked steel in the end, as I had a lot of problems with brass, for unknown reasons) and I fumbled with Damping = 80, Young’s modulus = 2e6 to 5e6 and Poisson = 0.30 (without really understanding how these really work). This is one of the error messages from that stage:"The prop

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0I want to create a limit belnd between 14 sections, the first one is a rectangle the others 13 are rectangles whose upper edge has been replaced by an arc. Creo doesnt allow me to do that. Why? whant can i do?
Hi,is it possible to perform a calculation based on an if-statement in a drawing repeat region relation?Prerequisite:Model units: mm Kg s I would like to multiply mdl_pro_mp_mass by 1000 if model parameter mass_unit is set to g instead of kg. Something like this:mass_display = mdl_pro_mp_massif mass_unit == "g"mass_display = mdl_pro_mp_mass * 1000endif It's only the IF that doesn't work; the calculation works fine if tested separately. It works in a Post Regeneration relation in the model (using pro_mp_mass instead of mdl_pro_mp_mass), but I would like to not add the relation in the model. Tested on both Creo 9.0.3.0 and 11.0.6.0 Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! 🖖

Hi there,I was creating few annotation in creo drawing, so there i want to add custom symbols in my annotation.I tried to finding where this symbols are saved but i can find it, i found one way but it was for adding pre defined symbols in note (By &sym(symbol name) but that does not work for annotation.so my question is, how we can add custom symbols in annotation (i.e. in Prefix/Suffix).
Im unable to open my Mathcad Prime 11.0.1.0 Student Edition. The app randomly crashed on me one day and when I tried opening it again, it does not do anything. No white screen, no error message, nothing happens. I've tried installing Mathcad Prime 10 but I am unable to use the files that I have in older editions. I've tried multiple things:- I've uninstalled and reinstalled.- Deleted Files and tried running it.- Tried running it using different compatibility modes.- Tried running it as an administrator.- Created Backup files.- Nothing worked.- Restarted computer Again, I'm not sure how to fix this. If you could please assist me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Hi, I used to use Publish Geometry and skeletons with my Creo3 Advanced XE.I now have a Creo7 Essentials licence. One of Optional Modules : #Optional Modules = ASSY_PERFORMANCE.But it seems that I can't use Published Geometry. Is this normal?Any advice?Thank you
