Hi.I'm using MathCad 14 with Windows 11. When I click "help" and "Quicksheets," it says "Unable to open C\contents\qheet\*.hbk. The C:\contents directory doesn't exist. When I create it and load Quicksheets from the install disk, I get "Unable to open C\contents\qheet\toc_qs.xmcd. Should I do a complete reinstall, or will it not work with the new Windows?...Larrylarry@capsense.com
Hello, I have an assembly that uses various lengths of raw materials. To indicate this, we list the raw material and what length to cut it at. We currently have it set up so there is a special "CUT_LENGTH" parameter controlling this length for use with pre-defined flexibility and easy identification of the driving parameters. We want to add this parameter to the CONFIG.PRO file so we don't have to manually add this parameter in every time. When doing so, it defaults to a "0" when not being used (which is ok) but it shows this in the custom BOM, so we end up having to delete the parameter per each item. Instead of having to delete said parameter, we would like to have it controlled by a relation that basically says "If the cut length is equal to 0, replace the value in the BOM with a blank, but leave all other cells alone." I can get it to edit all of the cells where the "CUT_LENGTH" parameter is shown at once with no issue. But when I try to specify which ones to change/leave alone, Cr
Hello, I am relatively new to Creo illustrate and I wanted to ask for a guide to creating manuals (lets say I created a figure and now I want to display the figure and the respective sBOM in a manual format) since I saw that the software has the capability to do so. Also, I heard you can export it as 3D pdf or Jpeg is there a more optimal way or a standard protocol when creating manuals using Creo illustrate? Thank you.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 2.0 and DatecodeM250スケッチモードに入ると強制終了してしまう。既存パートでも新規パートでも起こってしまう。
Hi, I've been struggling to find a straightforward way to export quilts directly to Blender, without having to go through additional software. Isn't there a way to export quilts in common polygon formats like glTF, FBX, OBJ, or STL? All other software I’ve used offers smooth export options without these extra steps. Why does PTC make this process so complicated for users? I'm using CREO 11 & 12
whenever I multiply an array by numbers and store it in an array I get this: because of those brackets, if add other values to u''0 and I try to call u''0 and displays like this: why is that happening and what is the proper syntax to avoid this issue?
Can anyone provide an example of how to apply the InMixedState attribute to a Radio Group? I want to create a radio group with two selections AND I do not want a default item preselected. I want to force the user to pick one. I my example image below, item one is selected. I want neither to be selected. The Creo UI Editor documentation seems to indicate this is possible by setting InMixedState. I just can't figure out how to do it.
Hi,I've a Mathcad 14.0 lic that used to work, but now it says cannot connect to lic server system. Feature: MATHCAD. Please advice.
I am using MathCAD Prime 10I’m working with a system of four vertically stacked blocks, each 4 feet high. The widths of the blocks are labeled B1, B2, and B3, and the bottom elevation of the lowest block is defined by BotEL.The ground surface is sloped and described by a series of known (X, Y) coordinates. For each block, I need to:Determine the coordinates of two intersection points with the ground surface. These are labeled a1 and b1 for the first block, a2 and b2 for the second, and so on.The "a" points represent vertical lines extending down from the right edge of each block. Their X-coordinates are defined by the block geometry, while the Y-coordinates should be interpolated from the ground surface at those X-positions.The "b" points correspond to lines inclined at an angle ψ relative to the ground surface, as illustrated in the attached image.I've also attached a Mathcad file and a diagram to help illustrate the problem setup.Note: This is a more detailed version of a previous ques
I'm trying to build a CREO Mechanism for lead screw, I'm using Slot connection to define the lead screw mechanism. Now I'm running a dynamic analysis by selecting friction in external loads options. but im unable to input the friction value. Does creo assume a value, or can I input a value
Prime 10. I want to make an xy plot of a function. The function evaluates correctly. But when I plot, it says the units are not compatible. I assigned units to the axes
suka I have mathcad installed in my PC, and want a free 30 days license but cant obtain it due to not being able to find a "product code".
I Designed a conical spring in Creo Parametric and am attempting to do analysis on the spring. When I applied the constraints and forces on the spring and ran the analysis, the analysis failed and said problems were encountered while preprocessing the features for the highlighted surface. Only the middle section of the spring is highlighted as part of the error. Can anyone help me as to why this may have happened
Creo Parametric 10I want to make a keyboard shortcut, which can change windows, so shortcut for this button here.I have tried go to options, customize, and keyboard shortcut. But I only found other things like save, activate...But windows isn't here.Mapkey also don't work.Every time changing parts or assemblys have to click to this button is not quick, so it is better to have a shortcut. Can someone help? Thanks.
Hi Community, We set-up a family table of our screws and wanted to add this now to IFX.For local tests, I saved the generic to ...\Common Files\ifx\parts\ifx_fastener_archive\nb__312350pxxxx.prt The .dat file looks like this: !--------------------------------------------------------! Sechskantschraube! Hexagon head screw!--------------------------------------------------------SCREWTYPE 20UNIT MMSURFACE 763AXIS 745CBSCR DIN974-2 R1INFO SCR-HEX-ISO4017-A2-70!Enter the name of the Family Table Part!---------------------------------------FAMPRT nb__312350pxxxxSYMBOL STRING DN LG B S K DG PINSTANCE STRING DN LG B S K DG P#FAMTAB M<DN> d58 d57 d57 d20 d19 d70 pitch When I now want to add a screw I have a weird behavior:1. When the generic is not opened in Creo, I don't see any thread size in the drop down, but lengths.2. When the generic is opened, I see the correct Thread sizes and lengths in the pop-up window. But independent what I select in this pop-up, it alway
Good morning, everyone,I'm currently working on a Mathcad sheet. I have two time-dependent functions that I want to combine with a differential equation. However, I keep getting an error message, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.I managed to get it working in MATLAB, but I would like to finish this properly in Mathcad. The issue occurs on the last page, where the solve block isn't isolated from the rest of the calculations Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to save and upload files to Model Manager using Creo Parametric?
It was saved in teamcenter. While opening from teamcenter image is not visible only dimension is visible.
In creo view 5 or 6 or 7 the stereoscopic will support active or passive or both to view the models. If Available, please share me any reference documents related to this.
Hi,I have a nested loop where I wish to calculate crack growth under a block of stress range data and then continue the calculation for multiple blocks to see how many blocks of data it takes until failure (crack is half diameter of shaft).I am sure there is a simple fix, but I cannot seem to find it!Any assistance would be appreciated. Hi Mathcad 10.0 Prime User,I want to make a table with different variables. My Q is always different, on which the other variables depend on. Q has to be 2 or higher. So if someone can just show me how to do the basic table, I will than use my Q's etc. I really have no clue how this might work in Mathcad. File is attached. Thanks.Saro
I found a nearly 4 year old post saying this was not possible. I am asking again because I have read about updates to simplified reps in more recent revisions. Does anyone know if Creo 4 and Creo 5 includes the ability to update the mass of a part relative to an active simplified rep? Thanks in advance.
Hello @LucMeekes ! I am using prime 9.0.0 and I cannot seem to find an option to add multiple entries to a single plot like in this answer. I can just copy and paste the plot you generated, and it works, but I would like to know how it is done, please 🙂 Reference topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Multiple-Plot-Entries/m-p/652806#M925
Hi, me an my team are using Creo Parametric 10.0 We are trying to export our drawing file to pdf for a technical document, but everytime we do, even with different export settings, once the pdf is created we can see that the notes are ok but the views of the part result front-view only and stretched. We originally set 4 views: Front, RSide, Top and 3/4 so we're confused. We don't get what may cause this issue since the first export was just fine, but from the 2nd on the mess began, we also tried with different files and it happens still. The same thing won't happen with .png or .tiff export but the image quality is poor so the use it's no option. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
