Creo+ and Creo Parametric

When I want to apply a posture to a manikin in a Windchill linked session it reaches out to Windchill to grab the posture thumbnails. If I scroll down then it closes the drop down box while it reaches out for more postures. I end up having to do this 5-6 times before I can get all of the postures loaded and to the bottom of the selection drop down.   Is there something I can configure to improve this?  

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140We are using creo parametric software.We are planning to send the assembly model to another customer. During model conversion we want to save the assembly model as single solid (IGES or STEP format) with out internal parts (only outer view geometry only).For the above requirement we are not able to save the assembly model in creo parametric.Here are the errors that I facedNot able save as assembly model as single solid file without internal.

By right clicking on a datum plane and selecting "Move Datum Tag", one can move the text location and Creo will connect the text with corner of the datum plane.But how do you move this tag back to its default spot and remove this irksome line?(Creo 2.0 M200)

I have a data set of the circle's center coordinates and radius (the same for every circle).I am interested in generating this part, a square domain with randomly placed circular holes in it.I tried using the table pattern and datum offset method, but I was not able to do so.I will be overwhelmed if someone is willing to help. You can consider the origin according to the data set.

Dear All, I am in need of controlling the coordinate system position of a part (in the assembly-relation window) with conditional format for the pro program, Case:I have a assembly in that assembly one standard sub-assembly group will be there at middle  portion and another component (Part-A) will be assembled in the left side so this will be my one of the requirement and that same part (Part-A) has to be assembled in the right side for my another requirement,  for this i am assembling only one time Part-A in the model tree by using coordinate system (Part cys + Ass cys) so for the other case i need to change the coordinate system position so that Part-A will be moved to the opposite side, Please refer the attached snap. Thanks in advance  

Hi, I'm making a drawing of a simple revolved part. It can be represented as one half section projection. However, I can't draw the dimension line for the diameter how I would like. In the first picture is my drawing now. The second picture (simplified case) shows the standardized way of drawing dimension lines in half sections in Finland. So I would only want the upper part of the dimension line and no arrow in the bottom end  

Is there a way to change all hatches' pattern or fill color in a drawing sheet all at once? as the drawing sheet I have contains a large number of hatches and it's difficult to change each one individually.

Hi folks,   In Creo NC, using Machine Tool Setup -> Parameter UI, I have edited the list of basic parameters visible in the "Parameters" list of NC sequence edition.   Because it's quite a long list of basic parameters that I now have, I'm wondering if it's possible to customize the default size of the "Parameters" dropdown window in order to extend it downwards. See attached screenshot for visual.I prefer having a tall "Parameters" dropdown window rather than having to scroll the list to see all my basic parameters at once.   Any pointers much appreciated.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0Few users are trying to register windchill server, Action is successful.But Every time they log off CREO and restart CREO, user has to again register windchill server by adding url.Need help to make it permanent server registration.

A detail view cannot have any of the names A, B, or C. When trying to delete the sheet, I get a message "Erased views will also be renamed." How to delete those views without deleting the sheet?I remember a long time ago that there was a command that allowed me to select and delete those views, but I lost that cheat sheet when I changed jobs.Does any of you remember it?Thank you

Hello Mr Martin,   Yes with further study of trail files and basic programming, I could successfully extract and modify trail file for .prt import and .stp export for two part files.👍..I could also write a program in Basic to generate trail file. However, just one question is there -- ie how to program to incorporate this line- ~ Input `file_open` `Inputname` `xxxxxxxxxx` into trail file? Sharing trail file and basic program (in .txt format/I had written it in qbasic only, which has been converted to .txt here)  herewith.    Requesting for the solution,   Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I've recently started using Creo Parametric 9.0.1.0 and am getting to grips with the new model tree.  I'm working in a fairly large assembly, around 1800 lines in the BoM report It appears that when I expand all, it hangs for a looong time while it expands the model tree. Annoying, but fair enough given that it has got a lot of stuff to expand. When I collapse all, I get just the top level assembly icon at the top followed by a blank tree. Weird, but again fair enough. However the little grey arrow to expand/collapse the top level is then gone, so I can no longer expand the top level and start digging down into the structure, the only option is to expand all and have a model tree a million miles long again. I've discovered a workaround in writing this; if I click a part in the viewport and find it in the tree, creo expands the tree down to the level of that part, and the grey arrows appear again so I can fairly quickly collapse it back to a se

I have a plastic moulded part, in which a part will be installed by inserting over top portions which is having two pivot points. I have tried warp bend option in creo 8.0 which is bending the whole part. How can I define the bend pivot point and bending a particular portion of a single body component.

Using Creo 7.0.5.0 The A-A section (full) that is defined in the model (single body part) appears weird in the drawing. See this image:This is the same section, viewed from different directions (by just using Flip), yet the top one is missing the contours of the two holes and the chamfer. (note: I have not used the Counter Bore function, as the holes are normal to the outer 45° angles, and the larger diameter is on the inside). There are also two "ghost holes" seen on each side that shouldn't be visible in the this section (those holes aren't deep enough to reach the section).I have tried to regenerate, repaint, redefine, use other reference planes and create completely new sections, but no luck.Noteworthy is that I have similar B and C sections that work perfectly. I have tried to find any differences in how these features and sections are created, but I found nothing.Here's a view of the part and the section looks as expected. I've also highlighted the "ghost holes".
