I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM090When you change the parameters of the 3D model, normallyThe drawing parameters are also changed, but the changes are no longer reflected.As an example, I wrote "TEST" in PART_NANE in the 3D model,The "MODEL 50 ID INPUT" previously described in the 3D model parameters remains.The 3D reference has not changed, but once again the 3D parameterIs it possible to reflect the contents in the drawing?

All, I am looking to recreate a part in Creo from another CAD tool. I don't use sweeps too much. I would like 1 sketch to sweep around - end points connected respectively to 2 trajectories. The sketch is basically 2 radii with a wall thickness being swept around. It is a plastic part. What is the best tool for doing this? Swept Blend? Blend? Other? Thanks, WayneF

In our drawings, we have some revision tables hand filled on each sheet . When a new version is made, we need to update each table on each sheet, whom is time consuming.I would like to set up parameters and used them into a table so that every modification on a sheet would be passed on others. We’ve got 7 parameters by revision, and need at least 5 or 6 revisions, so lots of parameters to set up. Is there a way to define these parameters directly into the frm format (from the parameters windows) ? Trying this, parameters are not recovered when a new drawing using this format is made.I wouldn’t like to insert these parameters into prt or asm files not to overload existing parameters (one solution could be to use a user defined parameter filter),I thought to use a family table and a repeat region (one instance per revision), but this could also be problematic for parts and assembly whom already have a family table,We don’t use Windchill nor any PDM. Do some of you have any bril

The total number of instances in these Family tables is about ~5600. We are using the Creo/Toolkit (Pro/Toolkit) APIs to traverse through the structure to retrieve the details of all objects available in the structure including all instances of all Family tables associated with this assembly structure. Do you have any benchmark timing for traversing this kind of a Creo assembly using Creo/Toolkit (Pro/Toolkit) APIs to retrieve information about ~6000 objects? If so, could you please share the information of the appropriate APIs to be used for traversing the Creo assembly structure and also to retrieve the details of all instances in all Family tables? I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM110Having issue to find several number of roundoff values in drawing annotation for huge size drawing sheets.

(Using Creo 7.0.5) What would be the easiest and most clever way to annotate Burr & Break Edge Tolerance in a drawing? I have these 20+ year old drawings that currently is being re-drawn from newly made 3D-models. In the  old ones it's been annotated like this: A more common (modern?) way seems to be using a "corner" symbol followed by the tolerance. The symbol is quite similar to the straight angle symbol found in Unicode: ∟The technical fonts in Creo (font, isofont, iso30985font etc) doesn't include this symbol, so it can't be included in the annotation. My current solution is adding a separate textframe containing only this symbol, putting it in front of the tolerance:  It "works", but I hope there is a better way?

Hello, What is the Creo license model in the case of cloud deployment? We would like to test deploying Creo on Azure VD to be streamed through the browser. Is there a way to configure Azure VD Creo application in order to use the license servers we already have? Currently they are used by users with local copy of Creo. Can location specific licenses be used, do we need to use global ones or is there another type of license required?

Hello, So I went to install the license server for Creo 7 on my license server and it does not want to use the NIC mac address that the current license server is using on the same machine.  Has anyone else seen this and know why it is doing this or how to get around it?  When I do ipconfig /all, it shows 4 NICs and the one it is picking is the last one in the list. **Update*** I have two NICs that are teamed.  The current license uses the teamed NIC MAC.  I have disabled the 4th NIC which is something Dell has for the SAN but we have found unnecessary.  But now the new license server wants one of the NICs and not the teamed NIC.  Any ideas? Hello, We are setting up repeat region BOM tables. Our standard is not to put a "1" on a balloon if the qty is only 1 each. Is there a way not do display a quantity of 1 and still keep the tie to the table?  

I created numerous tapped hole patterns and added GD & T call out with no problem. On this hole pattern I cannot add the GD & T call out,. It is asking for a dimension reference. I have tried picking the dimension, but will not work. e other patterns did not require me to pick a dimension? What am i doing wrong

I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0We are getting the transaction log for the wtuser database filled up error.This morning I tried to shrink the log file, and it helped for 5 minutes. Then I truncated the logs and it helped for a short period of time again. But it gets filled up pretty quickly and users can't use the app anymore.A user's report:I open PTC Creo, then click "Workspace" on the left. Then type in the search bar next to the "Quick Links" drop down menu. I search for "model*" to try and access our assembly. It then says:An unexpected error has occurred while performing search. I have a drawing with a lot of parts and want to make parametric notes but want an easy way to find all the ID numbers attached to show the parametric value of each individual part. For example: &PTC_MATERIAL_NAME:300 would be one material of a part and &PTC_MATERIAL_NAME:301 would be another. Is there an easy way to find all those identifier numbers at once?  

When editing or creating an assembly it is annoying that when you edit the definition you have to have it below everything that you may want to constrain it with. Is there a way to disable it or when you select edit definition it automatically moves it to the end of the tree. No

Hello, I am currently trying to update an old Toolkit script from Creo 5 to 9, and a couple functions,(ProGtoldataFreeStateGet, ProGtoldataDiameterGet etc.) were updated to ProGtolValueStringGet. I was looking at this article Article - CS280972 - How to use ProGtolSymbolStringGet and ProGtolValueStringSet to replace deprecated Creo Toolkit API 4.0 and onward (ptc.com) for assistance, but I was unable to discern what the actual output of ProGtolValueStringGet would be. I tried printing it out to the console to figure it out, but I also could not figure out how to get the otk_install.exe from the otk_install.sln that I am running the scripts on, to print it out. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you,Mark Hardebeck
