I received drawing formats from a client where the numbers and letters around the drawing sheet appear when you first start the drawings but disappear after it has been saved. This is also the case with some title block parameters. I am using Creo 4.0. If you know how to fix this, that would be greatly appreciated.

Dear PTC Community, I have tried for quite a while but do not seem to figure out how to make the following possible: I have created a part in which I defined the geometry I would (later) like to substract from a simple extrude feature to make a gear. The geometry is a parametric build of surfaces that I merged and patternd. See below:I now created an extrude feature of which I would like to subtract the previously created geometry to make it a gear. Sounds like a simple task but I am completely stuck and can't seem to figure it out. Happy for any input.I was able to "Solidify - remove" one small section from the extrude before the pattern but once I have the pattern it will not let me Solidify it OR once it is Solidified it will not allow the pattern. Using Creo 2.0. Best Regards,Rene Rudolf
Hi,I'd like to have a G3-curve, which uses points as references. In sketch, spline has no option for G3. Using the Style Tool I can create G3 curves, but can't reference them. Is there an option I haven't found? I would be grateful for any help. Thanks!
Hi everybody, My computer have Intel I7 processor 8th gen, 32gb ram, ssd and Nvidia RTX 2060 8gb, but I have some problems and errors.Do you think it's because of the graphics card ?I must change my graphics card? There is a configuration that I missed ? or Just update the card drivers?
Hello Community, is there a setting or method to reduce the vector resolution when exporting a line view from Creo View to a vector file, e.g. to PDF? With some assemblies, we get 2D vector graphics with hundreds of thousands of lines (or points), which are then difficult to process further in our vector graphics program. Thanks for ideas
I am using Creo Simulate 7.0.0.0I recently upgraded to Creo 8 and now when I try to open part files created in Creo 8 in Creo Simulate 7 I get a message that the file "cannot be retrieved". I suspect this is a backwards compatibility issue but how can I work around this until Creo Simulate 8 comes out? Here are the errors that I faced[file] cannot be retrieved

Hi, when i used Inventor for modelling and drawings, the line thickness was set up for every kind of lines. Like outline was thicker than hidden lines or center lines. When i opened those exported dwg files in AutoCAD i could click on "show/hide line thickness" and outlines "poped up" from the drawing. Now - when i export drawings in Creo, all lines are same - hidden, outllines, center....How to set it up for all drawings? I mean - it should know what is model outline and what is just hidden line, right? I hope you understood everything (my english is not so good as i want)
The drill web cycle works properly through creo when playing the toolpath, but when it posts out it does not work.I see that the web drill sequence outputs a CYCLE/THRU in the CLDATA, and according to the GPOST literature, if your control does not have a hardware cycle for CYCLE/THRU (ours doesn't) and set it to NA, then it will force GPOST into software mode. The issue is, it seems that GPOST even in software, deals with CYCLE/THRU differently than Creo does.Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work correctly, or possibly even have a working FIL for reference?
Hello community,I'm running a very old MELS on a VM (Win7, 32bit) for an also old version of ME10 8.7The VM runs only for the MELS and the software is getting older and older and I want to install it directly on my server (Win2012R2, 64bit)Sadly the old setup cannot run under this new OS. Has anyone an idea where I can find a MELS-setup which can run under 64bit?I searched, but found nothing... 😞 regards
Hello everyone,Does anyone know how to export a prt or drawing to dxf using VBA Excel? I got other activities such as changing dimensions and creating a drawing, but this one is having difficulty.
Need help to convert thousands of mi files to dxf.I have tried dwgdxf tool. Success rate is near 50%. This toll can only read mi 2.5-3.5. Creo parametric can import all the mi files individually and successfully export to DXF. Couldn't import by batch in CREO parametric. Can anyone suggest me a good working method?
I have a really weird bug that maybe someone can help me with. I have been using ProE since ProE2001, so I know the program well. but I haven't seen this before. On sheet 1 of my drawing, the BOM table appears to be missing my second part in my assembly. But when I click on the table cell, the data is still there. It comes back once I right click each one, and middle click to accept. If I change sheets and come back, second part row goes blank again. If I print or save to PDF, the tables print empty. Same thing happens with the drawing block on Sheet 2. Except it's true for the entire title block. Every single cell in the block is empty, unless I click and accept each one. If I change sheets and come back, it goes blank again. If I print or save to PDF, the tables print empty unless the text appears on the screen.HELP please.... anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?-Fong
Hi, I have a part file and an assembly file. I am trying to export either as a step file. I am using File, Save As Copy, but only see a limited number of available file types (pdf, tiff, png, jpeg, eps, tiff, and pic) to save as. Is there a box somewhere that I need to check to see other file types? Thanks, D
Hello, The support of Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI / FMU) standard in Creo Parametric Mechanism would allow to communicate with other simulations software and would be an important enhancement as a part of digital continuity. Thanks Luis
Hello,A config.pro option plus in edit definition of cross-section to hide the outline of the hatch while activating one cross-sections would be an important enhancement on display cross sections. Thank youRegardsLuis

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0 8.0.1.0When I make a drawing, I load a drawing format file. The tables in the drawing format have custom text styles for different character heights, spacing, etc. Now with this latest update to Creo 8, when I type in a cell in a table, the text styles automatically reset to a default, and override the custom settings in the format. Is there a way to make Creo recognize the text styles that are saved in the drawing format?
I am using Creo Simulate 7.0 7.0.0.0When entering the material properties, the default for youngs modulus is "lbm/(in sec^2). I believe this is an incorrect unit for the Young Modulus. If I change to input the units in KSI, CREO automatically converts to this "lbm/(in sec^2)" the next time the material is selected. This makes me questions the results for the simulation.
I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 7.0.2.0Looking for best practices on using Creo Wrapper files with Solidworks parts
