I went from Creo Elements 20.4 with Workgroup manager 12 to Creo Elements 20.6.2 with workgroup manager 13.0.2.1In the drawing browser, the name of the drawing used to be the Windchill file name, and now it is the Windchill name.Is it possible to change it to the windchill number or file name?I used to use it in a lisp, for example:display (oli::sd-am-inq-drawing-no)But now I get a different value then I used to.Also I can't find how to get the windchill attributes (like PTC_WM_NUMBER) of the drawing in lisp.I tried lot's of things but I can't find it. 

Hello Community, we are facing an issue with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.7 + Annotation connected to Windchill+. When creating a new drawing from a 3D model (e.g. model name TEST) and saving it to the Windchill workspace, the drawing receives the correct Windchill number (e.g. CAD0000403) according to the OIR.However, in CED Annotation the drawing name is not updated – it still shows the original model name (TEST). In the TRACE log we can see that the number (PTC_WM_NUMBER) is correctly transferred from Windchill to Annotation, but the expected macro (Docu_set_drawing_no) is not executed. On another CAD workstation running Modeling 20.6 with Windchill 12.1.2.5 (on-premise) the drawing is renamed correctly, which corresponds to the standard behavior of the CED–Windchill integration. So far we could not identify a configuration difference. We also checked PTC documentation but did not find any known issue related to this behavior. My questions:Has anyon

最近、と思いますがリビジョンチェックで図面をロードする際「’TopY’という名前のパーツが一つ以上あります」というアラートが出ます。「OK」をして進み、＜比較＞を実行すると「***ロードファイルで図面がロードされていません」と表示され比較されません。対策はありますか？ Windows11 25H2Me10はV19.0なのでサポートはされておりません

I can't get a 72-hour activation key for Creo Elements Modelling Express (6) any more , I get a "Cloudflare Internal Error" (Error 500) I've tried re-installing Creo and re-installing Windows (8.1 on a Macbook Pro Bootcamp) but no joy. It was working fine a while ago but I read that they have upgraded their security, maybe that's the cause. I've emptied cache. and tried different browsers. Is there a way to bypass cloudflare?

I'm trying to access the model name and read it in a tree format from Creo ED. Hello I am working on a custom quick acces toolbar in Creo Elements version 20.1.2.0I am making 1 tab that contains all the functions i need on a regular basis. And one that relocates my most used functions to the foreground. I wanted to create named seperators like the standard menu does. But I can only find the boring old line seperator. Is there any way to give my custom split menu a nice looking format like standard? Or is that something that is reserved for the base program? ▼What i've got so far▼ ▼What I want▼ If anyone knows how to do this. I would love to know it. Its not completely neccesary, but it would be a nice clean look to a layout that may be used as a standard within the company. Thanks in advance!

Using Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 9.0 New to Creo Direct Express and creating first drawings of parts and assemblies. Each time I edit the text on a drawing (title blocks, BOM's etc) a msg is displayed similar to the the one attached.What does this mean? Is there another way I should be editing these items?A second question is when creating the BOM's using the scan, table, draw method, why doesn't the part number populate? Thanks for any feedback

Hello, I have a ME10 macro that selects all geometries from a view and returns the pointer and geometry properties as a list to LISP.The pointer corresponds to the return value of the sd-get-annotator-reference function.To continue working with the elements, I need the sel_items for the pointers. But I can't find an inverse function for sd-get-annotator-reference.So far I have implemented this by using get_selection in LISP to get all sel_items and building a new list in which the pointers are added using sd-get-annotator-reference.I then use this list to add the sel_items to the list returned by ME10. However, the last process is quite slow.Does anyone have an idea how to do this efficiently?BR

Greetings Members As of this week (10/28/25) I am unable to obtain an Activation Key for Express Modeling.  It was working fine the previous week.  Here is a step by step description of what happens:- Click the CE Direct Express icon on my desktop- Obtain the following dialogue, this is normal or at least has been since direct access to the license server stopped working for me in Nov 2023.  Each time I have to reactivate even though I have an account and have been using CE Direct Express for more than 2 years.  Nothing has changed - same laptop, Win 10 OS, etc.- I enter my email address and password, select ‘Activate’ to get this dialogue, also normal.- In my case there is no proxy server, I am merely a PC on the internet.  My internet connection is fast and reliable.  I select the Submit button and obtain this dialogue:- At which point I select ‘Request activation key’.  Normally I would receive an activation key in seconds, paste it into the M

Hello ptc When trying to activate Modeling Express 6.0, to get my 72 hour key I am getting the following error in my browser "Internal server Error code 500".  As a side note, I have been having to do the 72 hour key for a couple of years now as I get a Proxy Configuration-Connection Failed error for automatic activation. This has not been a big deal as the 72 hour key is a bit of an annoyance but not that big of a deal.  Please see attached screenshots.

I attempted to upgrade from CREO Parametric 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.6.0 this morning. When I go to start 11.0.6.0, it fails to start because it cannot find a .psf file. The only "reconfigure.exe" file I can find is in the C:\Program Files\PTC\FLEXnet Admin License Server\bin folder, which merely shows me the available license server. I cannot uninstall under Windows either. Is there a way to salvage this installation or manually uninstall and start over? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I do not understand on your help page in which file I should change something so that I can save a dxf file. Can you offer me further assistance? HiFrom a few days I am unable to access PTC site when I ask to request an activation key, either for version 8.0 or version 9.0 (I installed just yerterday for trying to solve this problem !). I still cannot acquire a 72-hour license due to Cloudflare Internal Error (since Oct 20) despite upgrading to Creo Elements v9 , reinstalling everything , Win 7  up to Win8.1 , back again , back to to Creo v 6  etc etc . But the interesting thing is that I ended up repairing a Macbook Air that had a dead display that I last used three months ago , which had Creo Elements running on Virtual Box , and it re-opened fine without having to acquire a new 72-hour license , because when I shut down VirtualBox I had "Saved The Virtual Machine State" with Creo running on it & without closing Creo , rather than powering off the Virtual Machine. It seems the virtual license doesn't affect Creo on VM's  in the same way or at least not on my setup (I'm using VirtualBox 7 on a 2015 Macbook Air running OS Monterey  & Creo Elements v6. I guess I'll lose it when something crashes as it no doubt will , but till then I don't have to keep trying to get a new 72-hour license. I'm
