I want to implement a macro to select two location points and create a branch bundle feature. However, the selection tool doesn't seem to be working properly, as shown in the figure below. Each time, only one location point can be added, and it's impossible to add two location points to the selected list.The help documentation states that when creating a branch bundle, you need to hold down the CTRL key to select two locations. Is there any way to programmatically select two locations? I'm using Creo 12.4.0.0 and I'm experiencing an issue when trying to edit certain configuration files in Creo ModelCHECK. Here is the situation:I can edit Start Files and Status Files under the Configuration Files section without any problem.However, when I try to edit files under Check Files or Constant Files, Creo crashes.For example, I tried openin the default_checks_mch, file but Creo immediately crashes.The crash only happens when editing Check/Constant files, not Start/Status files.

Hello guys, I am facing an issue with the ProUIDialogCreate API returning PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR when a dialog creation DLL is invoked from another DLL. When the same DLL is executed independently, ProUIDialogCreate returns PRO_TK_NO_ERROR and the dialog is created successfully. Note: The ProUIDialogCreate call is implemented inside the user_initialize() function.if anyone knows the solution, pls let me know.regardsAraivnd

If we watch it in the UI and click the Open button manually, it correctly calls macroB. Thank you for any hint.

However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to move the components. We are currently using Creo Parametric version 12.0.2.0.We would like to suggest an improvement related to the organization of custom appearances. Currently, all created appearances are grouped under the “My Appearance” tab, which mixes appearances intended for wires, solid models, and sheet metal. This limitation directly affects organization and workflow efficiency.Our suggestion is to allow the creation of new custom tabs or categories within the Appearance Manager, enabling users to separate appearances by application type (wires, solids, sheet metal, among others).This functionality would significantly improve ease of use when creating and editing appearances, as well as provide better color organization. As a direct result, it would also help reduce design time, leading to increased productivity and cost savings for companies.

i know there is a api in toolkit to get a component's transformation matrix, like ProAsmcomppathTrfGet(). but as far as i know, the assembly component path is related with current assembly or current model in toolkit.how about i want to get a component's transformation matrix relatively to its parent assembly not current assembly.for example, there is a assembly A, it has a component B who has a component C. instead of using ProAsmcomppathTrfGet() to get path for C to A, i want to get the transformation matrix for C to B.is it possible to do so? can anyone show me a sample codes? many thanks. 

Good afternoon i'm using a creo parametric 11 version, i'm trying for my drawing to populate the "code nr." and some other parameter as shown below automatically.For example a code can be "202500001_11" i want to manually apply che 202500001 code only on the main .asm parameter and use the same code also in all the .prt drawing on the repeat region.Actually i write this code on the relation of all the .prtDESCRIZIONE_ORDINE=DESCRIZIONE_ORDINE:1NOME_PARTICOLARE=rel_model_nameDISEGNATO=DISEGNATO:1ORDINE=ORDINE:1CODICE=CODICE:1DATA_CREAZIONE=DATA_CREAZIONE:1QNT=QNT:1And it works, but i cannot save this code in the start part of the .prt because of that ":1" that refer to the .asm and it does not exist in the new .prt.for the "_11" i'm using matching code like this and it workd perfectly also on the start part IF rel_model_name=="CAV_M"NR_PARTE="_11M"Can someone help me with the main code ?Thank you for your time and help.

Does anyone know the context argument (third argument) of ProParameterTableExport using the toolkit that match looking at an assembly's parameters using the filter "Current and all assembly features and components" in Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0?  I am having issues trying to get all of the parameters using PRO_PARAMTABLE_EXPORT_XML.

Creo is managed by our company with some standard settings. Every time we open Creo the config.pro and the mapkeys in the run directory are overwritten with our companies default settings. I have added in my user level config.pro and system colors, but am having trouble doing the same with the mapkeys. I followed the instruction in the support documentation, but when I click find in the config.pro and search for "load_mapkeys_run_dir" it doesn't exist so I cannot change the setting to pull from the designated location outside of the run directory.    

I want to create a toolkit application that can integrate PowerPoint into Creo. Basically, I would like my application to generate a PowerPoint with information about the assembly and part views and parameter information. Is there any library that could do this integration?

I have configured my model tree with some columns and sometimes it is hard to see if the part that I clicked is in the same line of the information displayed on a distant column, so it'd be nice to have an option to add horizontal lines between columns in Creo. I will put an image to clarify what I am saying.

From the other hand, we have tons of useful C# code that we we want to reutilize.I just started to design the extension and my plan was to implement a 3-tier architecture consisting from the following layers:- DLL client build with Creo Object Toolkit C++, which may be registered as extension to Parametric.exe- Middleware build with C++/CLI which will allow client/server interop- C# libraries consumedUnfortunately, my trials so far to make server DLL extension dependent on the middleware class brought to the Parametric crashes.I'm absolute newbie to the Parametric programming so I would like to start this first post with some general questions.Do anyone has the experience with the using C# code from Parametric?Is the direction I tried makes sense with Parametric?If yes, what may be the causes for crash? I'd like to access, through code/programmatically a *.prt model's Annotations (e.g. Symbols, Datums, Notes, Dimensions). These would be the objects that are, in PTC Creo 10.x, in the model tree -> Design Items > Anotations. Is this possible through the base license of Creo (i.e. in Visual Basic)? The annotation objects seem like they might be accessible through details (drawings), but I cannot find their equivalents in the Model/PRT file. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hi everyone, I'm currently working with PTC Creo Web.Link and trying to determine whether it's possible to designate a parameter specifically associated with a FeatureID within an assembly context.I've reviewed the Web.Link documentation and found the method pfcScript.pwlParameterDesignationAdd(), which seems to apply only to general model parameters. However, I haven't found any reference to designating parameters that are tied directly to a FeatureID. Has anyone successfully designated a parameter linked to a specific feature within an assembly using Web.Link?
