Hi, hope someone could help me how to set up config.pro file or any other way I could sole my issue with Creo interface.My first problem is how to setup Layer tab width on creo startup or when open new work file , ( as every time minimizes for every new part file ) ( see attached image )Second problem I need help with is how to setup line thickness? I would need a less thick selected line, and more thick general lines in 3D model , as this lines are so thin and barely visible on 4K monitors ( see attached )Thank you in advance! Stefan

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.4.0I have written a C executable that will not run unless ucore68.dll is in my Windows path. I want to not be dependent on DLLs if possible.Here are the errors that I faced:The code execution cannot proceed because ucore68.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I have an identification table (1 row) that I insert into a drawing and it contains &ID1:D.When I insert the table I get flagged with the 'ADD PARAM' menu. From here I select string, type my new value, and &ID1 gets added as a parameter in my drawing.I would like to be able to add a 2nd ID table that gets bumped to &ID2:D, so that on every table insert I get an additional parameter created in my drawing. These id's can range to well over 100. So simply creating (2) different tables, one with ID1 and one with ID2, will not solve my problem. Is this even possible? Thanks for your help!

I've found instructions to toggle a custom layer that include writing two .pro configs, then referencing those in the mapkey, but those instructions are from around 2012, and I'm wondering if there is a more straightforward way to toggle a custom layer with a single mapkey. I've currently got a mapkey that hides a custom layer, "CURVES", with the following code: mapkey z ~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree` 1 \mapkey(continued) `node0:CURVES`;\mapkey(continued) ~ RButtonArm `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree` `node0:CURVES`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdViewHide` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ PopupOver `main_dlg_cur` `LayerActionMenu` 1 `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree`; Is it possible to modify this to allow for toggling? Currently using Creo 11.0.4.0

If not, please point me to the appropriate community. I'm creating a KBody instance and for some reason KBody::IsReversed() is returning true. When I ask the triangulator to create tristrips for me, they are coming back with the normals pointing inwards. Is it up to me to reverse the tristrips and normals? Cory

Hi team I have a doubt regarding how to calculate the smallest distance between edges using the toolkit. This is specifically for a sheet metal part.Does anyone know how to accurately calculate the edge-to-edge distances or if there’s any workaround available for this? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.I've attached the image for your reference.

We have many models that were created with an older start part, meaning that some layer rules did not get applied before the model was released. One of these critical rules is to put the auto-generated hole note on a layer and then hide it.Now we are working in an assembly with these parts in it.  These auto-generated hole notes are showing up at the assembly level.  Is there a way to hide them without revising the already released part?  Is there a layer rule that can be used to collect an annotation from a lower level part and then hide it?

How can i define a Default value for the UIReadStringMessage(true); The command appears in my jlinkapp without a defaultvalue. On page 79 of the helpfile you can read the note. A default value is displayed in the text box as Input.When user presses the Enter key as input in the user interface, the default value is not passed to the Creo Object TOOLKIT Java method; instead, the method returns a constant string use_default_string. When this string is returned, the applicationmust interpret that the user wants to use the default value.

I'm asking for a work around, because Toolkit will not work proper in the following scenario (my guess).   You have ONE Drawing with 2 Models BOX.PRT is active at sheet 1 and CYL.PRT is active at sheet 2   You get the scale with: ProDrawingScaleGet(drawing,solid,sheet,*scale)   If sheet 1 is active, the function  ProDrawingCurrentsolidGet() will return BOX.PRT, and now I have the Drawing, the Solid and the Sheet to get the scale, so far - so good. But if I activate sheet 2 via Toolkit, ProDrawingCurrentsolidGet() will return BOX.PRT again which is not correct.   There is no function to Update the Model Tree. The Drawing tree can be updated but the Model Tree will not reflect the change if I switch to Sheet 2 and display the Model Tree of the CYL.PRT.   Do I miss something here, or is there a trick. I wanted to know if it's possible to get the dll handle of another application from a toolkit application if both the applications are registered using registry file Prodev.dat.   Scenario: Suppose I am loading two add-in/plug-in DLLs at a time through prodev.dat file.Internally, i want to get the handle of each DLL, to communicate internally.Is there a way, i can get the DLL handle of each plug-in.Steps tried: Suppose, I am loading A.dll and B.dll through prodev.dat.When both gets loaded, I called toolkit API ProToolkitDllLoad() and passed B.dll path to get the B's handle.But, the API fails.If I try to call, ProToolkitDllHandleGet() , I don't have the first argument i.e. ProName application_idQuery from PTC team: Is there a way, i can get the Handle of B's DLL?

I've been trying to use the creoson libraries to pass parameters to a model and generate a drawing from javascript ... but the dimensions in model could not be displayed in the generated drawing.. when i try to do the following,dimObj = new creo.DimensionObj(); dimObj.name = "d0"; dimObj.showFlag = true; respdata = await dimObj.list({file:"mydrawing.drw", name:"*"});it returns a blank array when i trydimObj.show({file:"mydrawing.drw", name:"d0", show: true});to show an existing dimension from the model from which i generated the drawing, it reports, the dimension does not exist.. and ofcourse the dimensions are visible in creo when i manually use the "show annotations" toolbar button.. sadly, theres no show annotations interface function in creoson dimension module... any suggestions / help is appreciated

Hi, I am working on IFX custom library creation for my company.I have more than 1300 screws with 4-5 categories .I can not use dat files with category name and multiple parts from same category in the file. As i just dont have differentiation on Top category, i have different variations in sizes, lengths, then material, finish, drive types. I am now creating individual .dat file with info value placed in them showing part number, its size, length, material, finish, drive types.So, my top level category shows around 200 screws in one category dropdown,then each row shows, its name and other attributes. Is their any way we can add multiple options of dropdowns to select from, like length, or thread what we have. SO extra dropdowns for material, drive type.

I am working with Creo 8. I would like to implement a dialog with tree view in it. The tree has 3 columns. I have spent few of hours trying to understand API to create and populate tree. But not able to figure how to do it. With C++ I wasn't even able to add node to tree. With C I could add node but not able to figure how to add column. We have just installed Creo 11 in our office and have now found the it is stripping the Mapkey from the Config.pro files and placing them in the App data setting folder as a new Mapkey.pro.   This is a big problem for us....   We have multiple start up shortcut that point to different folder that has different Config.pro & search.pro files depending on the task we are working on, and each Mapkey in the config.pro points to a different file location to set the working directory.   I don't have a problem with the Mapkey being placed in a separate file, but I hope we have the option in the config file to point to a different location so we can mange the different options.   Peter
