Subject: Mathcad Prime 11 – Unable to Download Software After PurchaseDear PTC Support Team,I recently purchased a Student License for Mathcad Prime 11 through Cleverbridge and proxi.id. While I successfully received the license file, I am unable to download the software itself.The download page requires me to upgrade my Basic account to a higher level, which in turn asks for a Customer Number and a Sales Order Number. However, the only documentation I received from Cleverbridge is the invoice along with the Product Key.Could you please advise where I can obtain the required Customer Number and Sales Order Number, or alternatively enable the software download for my account?Thank you for your support.Best regards

Hello, I am using mathcad prime Prime 11.0.1.0.  Every time I try and print it crashes, even if I cancel the dialogue box.  Any one else seen this issue? Thanks

I have been using Mathcad Express for a while. However, my laptop with Mathcad Express had some issues. So, I purchased a new laptop and tried to install Mathcad Express on my new laptop. I uninstalled Mathcad Express in my old laptop, but I now cannot activate Mathcad Express on my new laptop. Can you help me with that? What should I do? Thank you.

This is an extension of a previous post where I worked on a complex task (for me!) to calculate the soil weight and area behind a wall. referenced post and solution are located inAlgorithm-to-Calculate-Soil-Wedge-Area-Weight-and-Centroid The post was brilliantly solved by @Werner_E . At that time, the wall had a simplified geometry with just one course. Now, I need to apply similar logic to multiple courses, which requires repeating the process for each course.I would appreciate any assistance on how to adapt this logic to handle multiple courses, potentially up to 9 courses.

Hello,I'm having trouble activating my newly bought license for Mathcad prime 11.0. I had a license for Mathcad 10 on a different pc which worked without any trouble. Now when trying to acquire the new license for this version on a new system, it just gives me the error: "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type" I have been troubleshooting for some time now but without luck. Sincerest,Mikkel

I recently purchased a laptop running Windows 11 Home. I installed Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0 using a university license provided by my university in Denmark.The problem occurs every time I try to save or export a file — the application crashes immediately. Hi,I am looking at converting a large number of legacy mathcad files to mcdx files. When I try to run the converter, it fails pretty much immediately, with an error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040CB6): Unknown Error at mcautomation.IMathcadWorksheets.Open(String pFileName) at ConverterLoader.Xmc...Please can you advise what the issue might be here?ThanksJames

I'm relevely new to Mathcad. and today i run into a weird issue.I have created a plot. and the first trace works as expected. The second one... the data is there but it isn't plot the way as i expected.With symbols on i see the dots. but the line in between isn't plotted, and i don't have a clue why it isn't plotted at all.I have tried to change the circle to also have 3 points what works perfect. The example here defines also data and works also. I tried changing data; plot types; etc, but nothing works.I hope somebody here has an idea

PTC Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0I have a function that depends on several variables, and I want to compute the partial derivative with respect to each variable and store the results in a matrix.For example, the variables R1​,R2​,R3​,R4​,R5​,R6​,R7​, and R8​ are known.F(R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8)=R5*R4/(R3+R4) +(R7-R8/2)*R1+R6/R2I would like to create a matrix A_dif such that:A_dif(1)= dF/dR1A_dif(2)= dF/dR2………………..A-dif (8)=dF/dR8Can this be done so we do not need to repeat the operation 8 times.

We have installed the 30-day trial version of Mathcad. However, when attempting to convert an XMCD file, the conversion option is disabled (greyed out). Because of this, we are unable to proceed with the file conversion. We are not sure why this feature is unavailable in the trial version and would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue.

This is a clarified follow-up to a previously solved question. The new objective is to compute the soil wedge area, weight, and centroid (CGx, CGy) behind a retaining wall using the mathematical approach described in the attached Mathcad files, and input data is already explained in the attachment. I am using Mathcad Prime 11. Any help would be appreciated. 

I got a new pc with windows 11 home and with an intel core i7 ultra. I installed mathcad prime 10.0.0.0 with the license from my university in denmark. When trying to export or save the document it crashes. I have tried contacting my university IT-support but they say they cant help because they dont work with the program. I have read on forums that updating to the version 10.0.1.0 solves the crashing problem. Unfortunately my university does not supply license to that version. What can i do?

My old laptop is being replaced and with a newer version.Earlier - few years ago - it was possible to re-activate my Mathcad 14 license on the replacement laptop at that time.Now activation online seems not be possible.I have Mathcad 14 files and older versions files which I revisit once in a while.How to migrate my license from the old to the new laptop ?

I have a subscription for a MathCAD 10 Student Edition. I got a new computer and couldn't figure out how to download the software and transfer the license over to my new computer. I downloaded the latest MathCAD 11 and activated a trial version of it. Can I transfer my existing license to my new computer?

We're thinking of using MathCAD Prime. One of our key requirements is to be able to programmatically print MathCAD Prime files to PDF (i.e. with no user interaction). I know this is possible with MathCAD 15 (you automate printing to PDF from the commandline with MathCAD 15 by adding the "-p" option after the executable and before the filename), but I cannot see how to do it with MathCAD Prime. I've been looking through the API documentation: https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r7.0/en/index.html#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help%2Fmathcad_and_automation_api.html%23. It says that you can print MathCAD Prime worksheets, but I cannot actually find this documented anywhere.Please could you let me know how to do this, either from the API or from the commandline?Thanks for your help!
