I recently installed Mathcad Prime 9. I had been using Prime 8 for a while. I have some files created with Mathcad 15 files (xmcd) that I need to convert to the new mcdx format but the conversion utility is taking a very long time to do the conversion. It's been on "In Progress" for almost an hour on the first file. I don't recall this being such a problem with earlier versions (Prime 7 and Prime 8). Please help!
Hello,For 2D plot we can see labels somewhat on the axis to see what axis is assigned to what variables for better understanding: My question here for 3D plot: Is it possible to put labels on the axis like I shown below?
Hello, But also we can see that if: Why Mathcad (at least Prime 8 ) does not want to show all solutions of an equation?
We have MathCad Subscription and Mathcad prime SDK.Our licensing changed to a floating license but I have no idea how to configure this on FlexNet.the FAQ's are all so confusing if someone could point me to the appropriate one I would be so grateful.
Is there any way to form trochoidal wave from its equation of any values if X and Y.
I want to use two variable version for a surface plot for a single variable data fit by setting the another variable to zero how to achieve this? Can someone share an sample example
Hello, How to turn this column vector intro a line vector (like shown below)? Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.
Hello, I want that x and y to be in a single matrix with 2 columns:
Hello,Why I see that interruptions from below when I draw circles? MC Prime 8 file attached.
Hello,Is it possible to make such kind of 3D plots in Mathcad Prime? Those plots from below are only some examples to give you an idea of what I mean, but if you have other examples then they are welcome.
Hello,1. Given the below points: (x1,y1), (x1,y2), (x2,y1), (x2,y2), how to make a rectangle in Mathcad Prime based on this points? 2. Given the below points: (x1,y1), (x2,y1), (x3,y2), how to make a triangle in Mathcad Prime based on this points?
Hello, Is it possible to fill the area under the graph with some colours like in this example from below? So, from with some colourand from with other colour Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.
Hello, I am using Mathcad Prime 7, paid version and i want to copy and paste text and math into Word. I have tried simply selecting the items and copying them, however they don't look good, some text falls off as the text boxes seem to shrink both lengthwise and heightwise as shown here in the screenshot. As i have loads of pages to import, i don't want to check and enlarge each textbox individually. I would like to know how to fix this without having to result to making screenshots, exporting to PDF etc etc.. Thank you!
I get an error message saying my variable "t" must be a scalar or a matrix. I believe i loaded it as a scalar. What did I do wrong?I am using Mathcad Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0.Jack Smith
Hi all, I am aware that this topic has been covered many times before, but I am a bit puzzled on how to achieve an iterated solve block in Mathcad Prime 4.0. I cannot attach my worksheet, unfortunately, but I will attach an image to illustrate what I am trying to do below. I have one equation in terms of x, and one in terms of i. I want to find all the (x,i) points where the values of these functions are equal. The way I thought to do it was to somehow nest a solve block in a for loop. I've seen previous posts that use the "Find" function, but I guess in prime, I can only use the "find" function inside a solve block. The problem is that I'm looking for pretty good resolution in my data points. This is why in the attached image, i is a range variable going from 0 - 1200 mA. My end goal is to get a matrix of x values that correspond to those i values. I truly appreciate the help, and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse too much! Thank
Hello,
Hello,The right endpoints of the five intervals are: where i = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The width of each rectangle is: and the height of each rectangle can be obtained by evaluating f(x) at the right endpoint of each interval. How to create the below rectangles in Mathcad Prime (8)?
1. How can I correct the highlighted functions so that they return 1.00 ft (see image below)?2. Are others experiencing similar issues in this version of Mathcad?3. Is this issue resolved in later versions of the program? Thanks!
Hello,1. How to find the intersection points for the below graphs (the red points)? 2. How to find the intersection points for the below graphs (the red points)? 3. How to find following distance between the two peak of blue graph, and between the one peak of the blue graph and one peak of the orange graph from below? Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.
I would buy a single license if I could test the trial version.
I am licensed for 8. How can I download 9?
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.0.0I was using Mathcad Prime to perform a series of calculations. After attempting to edit the amount of decimal places I wanted to display, the application froze and then crashed. Before crashing, the file I was working in had saved, however when I attempt to reopen the saved file, the application prompts me with the message written below in the "Error Messages or Warnings" section. I has saved my original file once I created it, however I had not periodically saved while working. The file that did save, saved as a new file on my computer. I was roughly 5 pages into the file and would like to recover my work if at all possible. I am working on a very time sensitive project that will be greatly impacted if this file cannot be recovered.Thank you in advance, Austin PicasoHere are the errors that I facedThe file type is not supported.Log file is located atC:\ProgramData\PTC\MathcadPrime\Logs\MathcadPrime_Exception_20230728_155458.log
Newbie question...if I have a matrix of data values as shown below, how can I get Mathcad to solve for the actual polynomial (or exponential) expression ? Or stated another way...can Mathcad provide the actual polynomial formula that would produce the graphed curve below based on the data provided. I am using MathCad V9.0.
