anynone knows mathcad prime 8 news or roadmap?

Recently we started conversion of different MC15 sheets to PRIME 7. Although the amount of error solving after conversion take a lot of time, the results look promising. However for the large sheets, the system starts to drawn due to very high CPU,GPU and RAM usage. Just simple scrolling the PRIME 7 document seems impossible. One of our major company sheets, used for calculation of structural capacity of cranes, uses 6GB of RAM only for loading the sheet after conversion to PRIME. The "original"  MC15 version uses only 260MB of RAM in order to load it. Loading time for the PRIME 7 sheet is approx 7minutes, the MC15 version took 15sec. We are quite desperate with having a fully functional MC15 sheet converted to a PRIME 7 sheet that seems useless. Can anybody advise? Thanks in advance    André structural engineer      

Hello to all the community experts,I would like to carry out the stereographic projection on the sphere of the two parallel straight lines, fr1 and fr2, both lying on the plane z = 0. So I should see the segment P0P1 connecting the pole with a point on the straight line fr1 and the segment P0P2 connecting the pole with the straight line fr2 whose projections on the sphere are two circles passing through the pole. I've been trying for a few hours but without success. Anyone here, is able to do this?Thank you in advance.Attached is the file for one projection.

New to Mathcad. I am stuck at this for last 3 hours. I have a V as function of x, i defined x as an array now I want to plot V(x) on y axis vs x on x axis. It shows me errors like function is not defined and value must be function. Please see and help    

Hi, before i build some .dll files and work well in mathcad 15. I install mathcad prime 7 and try to reuse these .dll files, but cannot load dll function. These dll files are put in the folder "C:\Program Files\PTC\Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0\Custom Functions". Or should i put them to another folder or something i should do previously?

Hello Everyone.   Ive not got much experience in Mathcad so hoping you can help me with a simple program I have been trying to write.  Basically I have set up a table, with two columns "a" and "b" and what I was looking to do was write a program that evaluates an if/else statement for each row.  If a is greater than 2 then carry out a+b if a is not greater than 2 then carry out a-b.    At the moment I can get it to work for the first part however when I add in the else statement it looks to me like a single row complying with the else statement means that this is applied to every single row rather than just the individual row.    Is it possible to have this program evaluating each row independently of each other?    I've attached my file and a screenshot of the sheet as well.     If you guys need more information please let me know.  Also I am no expert so if there are better ways of doing this, anything I have done that

Hi there,   the PTC Mathcad help say if i want to use a matrix as Input Data for 3D Plots there are 2 ways:   • A 3-column matrix, where the three columns represent the x-, y-, and z-coordinates • A m*n matrix, where the cell’s indices represent the x- and y-coordinates and the cell values represent the z coordinates   I need the first one, but my Mathcad (using Mathcad 15) allways plots my matrix like the second case.   How can I change this and tell the Plot that my matrix has the coordinates in the collums and not int the indices and values?   thanks a lot ❤️

I need parameterized solution from two equations. Both equations have two variables in them. . I am using "find". I tried "solve" (not shown in attached file) as well but could not succeed. How to get it? I tried everything since past 3 days. Searched extensively in Mathcad community. Pls help me in getting it. When i right click -> Insert -> Table, NOTHING happens. Nothing at all. Also nothing when i use the Insert -> Data -> table. This happens whether i open a blank document or in the middle of a document.I'm running Mathcad 15.0 (M010 [MC15_M010_20110622]) on Windows 8.1 with my schools license. I have tried compatibility mode for Windows 7, XPSP2 and XPSP3 and i have tried administration rights. My classmates can it to work though. (they run same MathCad but differnet Windows (not 8.1)). I have tried reinstalling mathcad several times. Nothing changes.I should mention that under the installation there is around 15 error messages that i can not get around (have to click ignore) because i have windows 8 and Mathcad does not support newer OS.How can i fix this without installing different Windows?

Hello Everyone,The data for cornea topography is loaded in the worksheet attached. The contour plot is generated using the 2-D interpolation algorithm. However, when compared to the topography system's original performance, the plot has a very low resolution. How can I get a plot that looks like the system output?  I was also curious about how the data could be transferred and plotted in polar coordinates because I was having trouble mapping f(x,y) to f(r, theta) coordinates.   Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I just started to use Mathcad... I was try to find the sqrt of a value in N/mm^2 and my end result was given in units (Kg^1/2) /(m^1/2)s... I do not understand why it is happening... Can anyone help me out... 

Hello,Is it possible to do somehow the simplifications described below in Mathcad 11?     (The expression of Gc(s) is not quite visible in the image because it is a rather long-expression.Look in the Mathcad 11 file to get a better look at Gc(s)'s expression.)Can the expression of Gc(s) be further somehow simplified? that is, instead of pi to be 3,141 (or how close Mathcad is to pi or how Mathcad approximate the value of pi), and possibly other calculations to be reduced (to do the multiplication, division operations) so that the expression, if possible, is simplified. In the attached plot i have power dissipation on y -axis and  time  on x-axis. My objective to integrate the waveform(on y axis- Area under curve) and then divide by time(x-axis: Time taken for covered area ) to get the average power dissipation. I am trying get an integral plot similar to the one  we get in the math waveform (integral function) in oscilloscope. Hi there, fellow users in MathCad. I'm totally a beginner in MathCad. I don't know why Mathcad said the variable is undefined when I try to solve the integral function.  When I put my task's value which are a=-2 and b=4 the integral function said it's value is undefined. Where did I do wrong? There appears to be an issue with the combo box with regard to exponents. 1. When inside the box the Exponentiation (Xn) is greyed out and I have to type it by hand (^) when entering values. This however puts the box on red alert and it either refuses to work or crashes. 2. It also looks weird as if something's wrong. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Attached is a Prime 7 file.

Hello,   I would like to solve the differential equation in the document. However, Mathcad can only calculate the values if I use a positive factor. In Python the values are calculated without any problems. What am I doing wrong? The problem exists in Mathcad 15, as well as in Prime 6.0. Thank you very much for any hints. Best regards Paul
