Mathcad

I am struggling with how the Combobox works and its capabilities.I created two combo boxes, and I could populate some variables using the first combo box, but I also need to be able to change the results based on a selection from the second combo boxHow can I do that?Attached is the Mathcad sheet in prime 7

When I use new conversion tool to convert from earlier versions to Mathcad Prime 7, the new worksheet has a lot of markinging in red saying the format has changed, and a lot or red arrows. I am ok with the format changes, and I do not want these error messages or the red arrows to be on the new worksheet, How can i get rid of them, or accept them, perhaps they will go away that way. Thank you

I am using Mathcad Prime 7.0 7.0.0.0A Mathcad v15 converted to Mathcad Prime 7.0 has the last page empty but I am not able to remove it. Please advise. Here are the errors that I faced No error is reported by Mathcad prime v7.0 but I am not able to remove the last page of the converted file from Mathcad v15.

Hi all 😀 I have a data group from excel to understand: the 1st column is : Torque the 2 column is : Position the 3 column velocity: Torque   If i make a drawing with Torque (vertical Y axis)  and position (horizontal  X axis), i have this:   I see  i have periodic data : in position , approximately from 50 to 2250 milimeter. this is OK, the data relate to a cylinder which makes round trips   My problem:   How to extract data in new matrix wich include only data for one stroke: submatrix for positionning 50 to 2250 and submatrix for positionning 2250 to 50   and that for the 5 back and forth   I want to make a drawing for forth (torque and velocity) and back (torque and velocity)     Thanks

Dear Expert MathCAD Prime Users,While I am doing my assignment of Reinforcement Concrete Column Design I have a problem when I reached design axial compressive  I can not find the Value of a as you can see in my attached file in MathCAD Prime 7.0. The error message is "The function for the end points of the interval must be at opposite signs".  As I mentioned problem, I would like you to show me how to fix  this issue in order I can make a Column Interaction Diagram.I am looking forward for your help and recommend. I have installed MathCAD 7.0.0.0 but each time I open the program the splash screen pops up (and I can see the program in Task Manager) then after a few seconds it closes (closes in task manager as well).

Good day PTC Community!   I was wondering if someone could help me resolve my issue with the product. I tried the symbolic solve for an equation and it was amazing. I got stuck though. I was planning to use the value solved from the equation I made inside the worksheet and use it for other formulas. The problem is I can't extract it, it just prompts me "missing term or expression." Was what I'm doing wrong? or are there any workaround I should change in order to achieve extracting the variable solved?   Thanks in advance!

I am using Mathcad Prime 7.0 7.0.0.0Hi,I need help to solve a problem with error in Combo-box. When I try to set up units K/W or m/s in dropdown input menubox after that block turns red. How could I to use such units as K/W or m/s such as input values? I guess that is problem in using input dropbox. I couldnt find any information about solving this problem in MathCad help.Here are the errors that I faced Blok turns red without error message.

Hello all   From the shortcut list of Mathcad, shift+space can append an extra column to the matrix. However, I found that it doesn't work for my Mathcad Prime 7.0.   Does anyone know how to fix it?   Btw, pressing shift+enter to append an extra row to the matrix can work in my computer.       Thanks!  

Hi,   Can I use solve block inside a program loop? For example, it may be useful if I need to scan all the possible solution of Find(var1,var2,...).   Many thanks S

The installer downloads my files but it can't install them. It points me to check the log files, but there are no log files.

Hello!   I want to solve three equations symbolically to check tabulated data. How can this be done? Should I use a solve block or are there any other techniques? Please, take a look at the attached Mathcad Prime 6 sheet.   Best regards, Sergey

I have referenced excel UB steel table and used Vector command so that I can use properties values for calculation. its easier such that I only have to change row number to select a different UB.   I use properties to calculate bending capacity (output as vector)  and compare with know demand (typed scalar values), I get errors.  How do i convert 1x1 vector answers with typed scalar values such that "all values are scalar" for checks" ?    

I'm trying to iterate over a matrix and for some reason I can't seem to generate the new matrix. It just spits out the last value of the iteration. Looking at other posts I think I have something wrong with the indices of the matrix, but I can't quite figure it out.    

I have the following equations and i am trying to ge the values for b2 and D2. I have all the other necessary values but i cannot get to solve this. Have i mistyped the root equation?I tried with the find function too.
