Hello,Can I get assistance on this? We configured a new pc for the user and we need to install Mathcad onto the new system. 

Is it possible to read data from several tabs in Mathcad 15 from an excel file?

I'm bringing in a value from a text file.  I'm pretty sure Prime wants to display the value in radians.  But the value is really 84.11 degrees.  How can I make Prime display this as 84.11 degrees?

I want to reinstall my oldish (purchased in 2012) Mathcad 15 to work on some support files for one of my old textbooks. The license file manager tells me that the feature isn't available anymore for the product. I think this may be because I bought it as an upgrade from Mathcad 14. So as an alternative I tried to install my copy of 14, but it too was an upgrade from the previous version and I don't have my installation media for Mathcad 13 anymore. Any suggestions?

I have accidently pushed something while save matchad and this header and footer appeared and I cannot seem to get rid of it 

Cannot get a license for my MC14 which I installed on a new Windows 11 computer.When I run the Mathcad License Setup Wizard and log into my account, I get the ERROR: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.MORE INFO:The old computer hard drive failed so I need to install MC14 on the new computer.This MC14 is an upgrade from MC 13. So, I also installed MC13 first along with the required .NET framework on the new computer. But, MC13 does not run (does not even start).For some reason this "issue" will not go directly to tech support?Regards,Die-hard Old-MC-non-Prime-User

When I try to get the maximum, an error is caused by the range variable i, "This value must be an integer".  I am using PTC Prime 9.  Appreciate your help!

Hello, I have a Prime 11 file that I'm using 4 iterations of the INCLUDE Statement to pull data from 4 prime sheets.  The processing is very slow. I'm thinking about using instead four sets of READTEXT commands as I can probably pull the data I need from the 4 prime files into 4 large text files.  Then read the text files back into the Prime sheet in question.  Seems like there would be more time creating the text files with WRITETEXT commands for each sheet.  But processing the 4 big text files into my sheet should be quicker. Anyone has experience with these two alternatives?  I see a number of questions regarding the INCLUDE statement.

Hi, I'm using a range variable and multiple functions to plot the capacity and demand of a beam system to check for failure.  This works well and as I intend.  The problem arises when I want to find the specific utilization of the member along it's length.  To do this, I wanted to create a vector containing the input lengths instead of a range variable, so that I can perform math on the functions and output a vector.  This way I will have a vector of the members utilization along its length and won't have to manually check separate inputs.  As shown in the image above, the vector "v" works as an input into function "V(v)" but not in the function "Va(v)".  Is this because "Va(v)" is a piecewise function?  Is there a way to evaluate this function using vectors? If there is a trick to getting vectors as inputs to functions, or simply a better way entirely to accomplish the task of creating a single vector with the utilizations as I de

After inserting a numeric value from another mathcad document and highlighting it with the cursor, the inserted number is highlighted with green brackets. What does this highlighting mean and what does this option allow you to do?

Hi everyone,A customer of mine recently encountered a question while using Mathcad Prime. They created a 2D plot using the Insert Chart function (as shown in the image below), but couldn't find a way to display the grid lines (both x and y) in the chart.I’m not very familiar with the plotting settings in Mathcad Prime, so I’d appreciate any help. I create parametric bitmaps that depend on the values of the calculated variables using the READ_BLUE function.How to insert a numeric value into such a picture as a bitmap that changes depending on the calculated variables?

I can only find one question posed on this and the meaning of the green question mark wasn't provided. Nothing in the online help either. Mathcad also indicates that there are errors in the included document, but there aren't. Wasn't sure if the green ! was related to that. The included/reference document expects to see some values defined before it because the included document does calculations based on the pre-defined values. So in actual use with required variable definitions provided prior to insertion of reference doc, everything should be fine. When you drill down into the reference document, Mathcad acts like it knows nothing about the previously defined variable (which sort of makes sense) and gives me errors (red boxes) on some of the calculations I can't remember, but I thought Mathcad v15 had an "if defined..." function so you could make local definitions if something wasn't already defined. Am I remembering correctly? I haven't seen such a function in Prime (v11)

Hi, How can Mathcad 15 skip steps in a loop with skip stepping dictated within the loop? Here increasing i by two inside the loop only affects the one step not the counter i which jumps back to 7? Any ideas as want to skip one or two loop steps within loop dictated by calculations within the loop.   Cheers Terry

I created a worksheet in Mathcad PRIME version 10 that reads data from a text file and creates several graphs.  I have 100 text files to read and they are all numbered sequentially (e.g., "file#.txt").  The file that is read is controlled by a variable in my Mathcad worksheet (in conjunction with concat() and num2str() functions).  Currently I am manually changing the variable in the worksheet that controls the file that is read in, refreshing the worksheet, and then saving the file as a PDF (and manually typing in the desired name of the PDF file).  Is there a way to automate this so I don't have to manually change the variable 100 times and manually type the desired name for the PDF file?
