Mathcad

I am having a significant level of loading failures in 2025 with "Incorrect file format, file should be from PTC Mathcad Prime" and "File contains corrupted data" errors as the causes:.  23 cases are appended. What is most concerning is that projects that have been used to launch improved models a few days earlier as well as intentional project copies, both cannot be opened then or a few months later.   Is anyone else seeing an increase?  The "incorrect file format" is a new error for me.  It looks like it may be necessary to store PDF copies of projects, as some of these programs are 50-100 pages in length and will take days to weeks to reconstitute. Two .mcdx programs I tried to upload were rejected as having as having an incorrect file extension..  Is there something wrong with the title "250525, Tac7C+Weatherstation, corrected firmware, threaded slab heater, slope analysis.mcdx" ?

Hello,  We encountered the following message (shown in the first picture) multiple times when saving a Mathcad file that contains an object from AutoCAD LT 2024 (inserted using the "Insert Option"). After saving and reopening the Mathcad file, the AutoCAD object is deleted, as shown in the second picture. We found this issue on all machines running Windows 10 & 11. Kindly advise on how to resolve this matter.I am using Mathcad Prime Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0

I attached abbreviated work sheets. Question regards echo sheet. How do I pass secondary ohms to the matrix?  I can't seem to define the values as ohm(sec) in the matrix.  Secondary ohms are (ohms value) multiplied by (CTRW/PTRY).  I have a hunch that I don't have units set correctly in the definitions area. I made an attempt at showing values using the table function.  That was a train wreck except I can set units as secondary ohms.

Is there a way to imbed the str2num function into a lookup? Is there a means to automate renaming or concatenation of the variables in the first column of the text file? What is the type of variable is ["600"] ?  I guess it's not a string variable?

I've now gone from Prime 10 Express to Prime 11 Express,  This allows me to see worksheets that have been created in Prime 11.  However, does anybody know if there are any technical or other capabilities in Prime 11 Express that are not available in Prime 10 Express?  I can't find any.   Alan

Hello All, Is mathcad prime-9 generally slowly in terms of Auto calculation or refreshing the values?  Also, if i change a variable , a lot of calculation  turns into a light font as if it is still processing the values as i am showing below.  Seriously terrible as compared with mathcad 15. Thanks,Sam

Hello, i like to calculate  force FA depending on three variables hS, hA, Hz. Mathcad calculates FA and put into a vector. Finally, i like to have the maximum of this vector. Typing max(FA) gives back the whole vector not the single maximum value. Also for mean and other functions. Thank you for your help.

Dear all? I'd like to have some deeper / practical information on SVD function. From theoretical lectures it seems to me that Singular Value Decomposition could me a useful tool to tackle ill-conditioned matrix in eigenvectors search for homogeneous linear system. It appears also that SVD can solve a variety of problems; that does not help that much me as explanations are often at a too "high level"..... The material in MathCAD help is, sorry to say, in the same league: too abstract...I had also a look to the only one post on similar subject, and again sorry not so easy to be adapted to my problem (not so specialized by the way...) Could you:1) confirm me that what I've understood from theoretic is reasonably correct 2) give a more workable example: for example the search for eigenvectors (linked to eigenvalues) for a linear system 4 equations in 4 unknowns (using the MathCAD SVD algorithm)? I'm using the "include" function to bring in variable values into work sheet.  I would like to bring in variables from a second work sheet.  I'm not always interested in the values of those variables but the expression in the worksheet that defines the variables.  Problem is that the variables are from a set template but the sheet maybe from a different project. Is there a way to concatenate or suffix the variables from the second sheet within the sheet where the include function is used separately of each sheet? As an example, Z1MP from sheet one could be defined as 85%*Z1L or a number with units.Z1MP from the second sheet may or may not be defined the same.  So I would like to bring in the value or better yet, the explicit expression and rename Z1MP from the second sheet as say Z1MP2..   Maybe explicit representation of the second sheet is reaching too high and I have to settle for the numerical value of Z1MP2  

I'm echoing values from another work sheet using the Include function.  I want to show a variable equal to the original value but not evaluated to a number.  SYNC bus:=VAZ I gather that I need to use symbolics.  Can't find the right combination of modifiers.
