Hello,  I followed the examples with creating 'Custom Functions' from the MathCad help documentation with success. I tried to extend the capabilities by calling external DLL functions from a  'Custom Function' (no success). I have the .h file available (with function prototypes).

Hi,I would like to know if someone in the community has any idea on how to sync my MathCAD inputs with my CAD table values. I have thought of 3 methods to do these and I would like to know anyone's thoughts on these.Method 1: My inputs in MathCAD will be passed on to an embedded Excel spreadsheet which is OLE'd in the CAD detail. Is this possible?Method 2: The CAD detail is inserted as an object in the MathCAD document and the CAD table will be in the form of an embedded excel spreadsheet in the document. Is this possible?Method 3: An excel spreadsheet receives the input data from MathCAD and also hosts the inserted CAD object in the excel spreadsheet document. The table will now be created inside excel. Is this possible?Which of these 3 methods is possible? Any other suggestion to make this possible?Thanks,Armand

As part of a  course work ,I was working on Mathcad to create a program for the dynamic response of 4 DOF  system to arbitrary loading using the central difference method.I will upload the mathcad file.In page 7 ,I have created a force vector as a function of time.The time vector is in Page 4.I want to transpose the force vector ,but the comment is coming that this function  can be only used for arrays.Also I will attach another file in which I tried to assemble 4 ,1X4 matrices to form a 4X4 Matrix.But the 4X4 Matrix is not Showing the values.Can anyone give me a quick guidance on this,as I want to make submission on May 2nd.RegardsArun.S.Kumar

See attached Mathcad file and xls file containing data.I am trying to increase the number of time points in a field vs. time data file to then use in a subsequent calculation with the increased data points.  The time points are all less than 1.I cannot figure out how to access the interpolated data to use in a subsequent calculation involving range variables.Can the range variable to use as the indices be less than 1?  If not, how can this data be used in a time varying calculation?Thanks for any help.Reg Curry

Prime has built in kelvin functions ber and bei.I would like to know if it also has ber' and bei' which are derivatives of the Kelvin function.Thanks.

I am getting a floating point error in a structural analysis routine I am writing in Mathcad 15.  Does anyone have experience correcting this type of error?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I have attached the routine as it currently exists.  I will be glad to provide additional information, so just let me know if something further is needed.Thanks!Steve

  Cannot create an animation  I followed the instructions in the User’s Manual to create an animation of a spiral. When I clicked on ‘Animate’ in the ‘Record Animation Dialog Box’, nothing happened. Subsequent attempts brought up the message ‘Error initialising video stream’.   Where am I going wrong?  

Dear all,I got from some old, long forgotten   training course the following (here very simplified) example of a scripted automated change of colour and text depending on a Boolean condition.This is to me pretty useful, for example when there are many requirements that I have to prove all satisfied for example for a structural verification. The only "problem" in this implementation is that the condition appears under the "traffic light" red / green message.This is because the Arguments have to be under the box.  I would definitely prefer having the coloured text message either on the right of the condition, or under it. Because it is a logical consequence of the condition, so the reading should go from left to right and downwards.Of course I could define a dummy variable containing the condition and then use this one as dummy argument, and then "hide the arguments". This is a little error-prone when ones makes many cut-and-pastes.This is admittedly a low priority aesthetical

Can you solve it in Mathcad with the Given-Find (or others) tool?The answer must be hh:mm:ss.xxxxxx

I have Bode plots among other plots that I would like to have grid lines displayed.  I understand that Prime 4.0 will allow us to display and set up plots as we did in Mathcad 15.  I can't seem to locate anything that will allow me to do this under the plot function.Thank you for any help.Best Regards,Jim Carl

It is rather easy to copy formula from Mathcad to word. Copy from word back to Mathcad ended at a photo or picture?Is there anyway to make copying word formula to Mathcad working?Also tried formula using Mathml, word does accept that. But copy mathml into Mathcad ended showing long list of mathml code itself.As word can accept formula copied from Mathcad, Mathcad must using certain standard code (e.g. Mathml) to store/display all formular's.Anybody may advise what kind code Mathcad using for store/display all formula?hanks a lot.

Hi,  I haven't been using MathCad 15 very much and am relatively new to coding.I'm having trouble using VBscript to get my List Box to do what I want it to doIn my MathCad file I've created a Matrix.  I then created an array that holds the first column of the matrix.  I want to feed that array into the ListBox to populate the List and then return the index of the selection from the listbox.I can't seem to get the ListBox to populate with the Array.  I'm using ListBox.AddString () and keep getting the error "Type mismatch: 'ListBox.AddString'"I'm not able to use the Array as I'd hopedPlease provide guidance, resources or tipsThanks
