I am using MathCAD Prime 7.0.0.0 and it will no longer initialize. I am looking for version downloads on your website.

I'm doing a EDO resolution, and at the end of the resolution block I get error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"". If someone understood how to solve or the reason for this error. Thanks

Hi,I have a Mathcad sheet that calculates a 13X3 matrice and then returns a 13X(3^13) matrice. It is a lot of calculations. I have a HP computer with Intel I7 processor and 64Mb RAM. Task manager say it uses about 10-12% of processor and 3-5MB of memory. So far it´s been working on this for about four hours, and it´s not finnished.  What is missing to make the calculation go faster? Are there any parameters that I can change in Mathcad so it uses more power?

This might be a long shot.  I have  Mathcad 12 (CD with activation code) and would like to know if there is anyway to activate it.  This is a pretty old version of Mathcad (2008?) and from what I can find on the community page and general internet search is that PTC no longer supports these old versions, and the Mathsoft authentication server has been shut down.  If anyone has any insight into how to activate this software I would appreciate it.

Hi there I have some data of depth of 10 inputs  but I need the calculation to start from single point in each input and ignore the one above : for example the starting point of first input is 1.31 but its depth starts from (0) ...so I need the program to ignore all the data from 0 to 1.31 and starts at 1.31.the second input d2 has values from 0.5  I need the program to ignore this values and starts from 1.26 so basically it eliminates all the points before the starting points I decided Prime 10 is attached also the excel sheet  

Hi! I have a twosome question, as I am in doubt if there a better or more straightforward solutions as what I have done currently:A PTC document where I have a mechanic exercise to calculate reaction forces ("StaticExercise"). I would like to know how to format functions, like an area which overlaps pages. This makes in inconvenient. As well, I am very interested how equilibrium formulas can be formatted and solved.In another exercise ("SteelRodElongation_Exersise"), I have applied an IF function, because I would like that the calculation breaks or stops, so it ends up with 0. Now the calculation gives some strange units at the outcome, at Delta L (if you change σ0.2 to 1 manually. What would you advise? I have formatted the questions/notes in red in the files. Like to hear your thoughts!PTC Version is: 9.0.0.0. Thanks a lot

Hi AllLooking to create a calculation which uses a drop down box to select beam size. I would like mathcad to then automatically populate all the remaining characteristics of the beam into the appropriate variables. I have downloaded the AISC shapes database as an excel file so I am using the READEXCEL function to input the excel data to mathcad. A combo box seemed like a really good fit. I'm trying to input columns from my data matrix into the combo box but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas? A snapshot of the simple worksheet below.  

We had a formula written in Mathcad 15 that solved a range of numbers and gave a solution of the entire range (see image below). When we convert to Mathcad Prime 9.0 only the last number of the range gets solved (second image). We are looking for a maximum throughout the range so this does not help us very much. Is there a way to write the function in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to give similar results to Mathcad 15? Both files are attached. 

Hej Guys, i am new to Mathcad and not very familar with it i have a worksheet with some functions and no i wanted to use the solveblock to find some solutions for me but i have no idea how i should write it down. i added  the worksheet with the functions. i have a function with two Variables that where i want to find those two variables when i only know one result of the two out put results that the funcions brings me. the constraints i have and the expted result i put to the worksheet. maybe someone can give me some advise on how the solveblock need to be set up for a function with two variables? Kind RegardsMarkus

Hi there!I have an issue with the definition of the Prime user function.There are several matrices 2*2 in the general case ( the exact matrix number oscillates from 1 to 4-5-6).Each matrix has a lowercase index (connected to the data from the parameters table). I want to define user function to make matrix production. Due to my modest coding skills, I have no results to describe as appropriate. I am trying to get a bode plot of a transfer function which I symbolically evaluated first. After that I want to insert some constants and then use it for a bode plot. Is there a way to do that? I am using PTC Mathcad Prime 10,0.1.0.  

Hi, I am getting the following issue on Mathcad 10: "This value must be a scalar or a matrix" I am looking to define the output matrix as β. It seems to work on its own but not when I try and assign it as β.It isn't an issue when run on Mathcad Prime 8 or 9. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,In electronics, we use an operator for the parallel connection of resistors. For example: R1 || R2 which means (R1*R2)/(R1+R2). How is it possible to create an operator like this so that I can use it just like basic operators such as /+ * ?

Hello Mathcadeers,I could not find a way to properly set the Legend on "Chart Component". The legend only shows "1" and "2". Can I set it up to show the actual name; eg PN_Total_ADF4194 and etc? Regards,Ak 

I need to ask about the possibility that Mathcad will allow me to process images through the image processing function, taken with a digital camera, to give me % failure of adhesion of a film on the material in attached image. Can I use Mathcad for basic matrix operations? Or how can I achieve this ?

I tried to convert old mathcad file but the following error pops up ( I have a Mathcad prime 7 installed)I also have enabeled the .Net Framewor....on my windows, but I still have the same error after that as well. Hi All,I have an older version of PTC software.It is Prime 2.0.This does all my needs.I had to re-install it recently because it was hanging up or closing down while it was uploading.Just days before it did an automatic online license check, and it passed.I had Prime 2.0 for several years since it first came out.On attempting to re-install its failing to do so.Message is about a component was not installed.The screenshot is attached (Error2).I have installed WindChill....software.I direct the browser to the license file (single user).The install continues and then stop with this message.Error 1935 An error occurred during the installation of assembly component.Next a file name in brackets [.......].Followed by HRESULT:0x80073712.That is the information I have on my failed install.I will appreciate any and all help you have to get me back on with Prime 2.0.PS: The first error is indicated in file name Errorr.The 2nd error the most recent re-install error details provided above is in fil
