I recently upgraded from Prime 8 to Prime 9, hoping for a resolution to the performance issues we've run into. I've noticed that files greater than around 3.5 MB experience a significant decrease in performance. Legacy Mathcad (15) didn't have these performance issues. I'm wondering if and when PTC is going to resolve this. I've seen a few workarounds, like vectorizing of for loops, etc, but we shouldn't have to resort to workarounds when the original Mathcad worked fine.

I'm struggling to get a for loop to run in Mathcad Prime 7.0.0 I have a matrix "d" that I want to stack "N" times. The matrix "d" could have any number of rows, and "N" >= 1  (these are defined elsewhere in my sheet). But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to iterate through the loop. Where have I gone wrong? The examples I see are using "i" inside the loop to perform an operation (sum several terms, etc.). Maybe since I'm not actually using "i" for the calculation anywhere it's breaking? Maybe because my stacked matrix isn't actually a function defined by "i"? Should I be using while instead of if?

All, I am using a building code prescribed equation with a constant that does not have units assigned in the code.  As a result MathCad gives a Unit error.  Now I could backsolve to find the units but that seems cumbersome.  Can I simply force MathCad to solve the equation and remove the red rectangle from the output/print?

Having issues with the solve block, "units are not compatible" I know the part that is bad is the part in the screenshot as that part was added specifically for this scenario. Would also like to simplify it as its the same equation with different Q value determined by the Q[ value. Please advise, Thank you!!

As a eda admin, would like to check on PTC_D v10.8 vendor daemon compatibility supports RHEL8 or not?with the same version does it supports to ens192 network card or still it will work under eth0.If not please share the latest vendor daemon packages to get it activated

Hi all, I've got an issue with licensing MathCAD 7 Prime. When starting MathCAD 7 Prime, only the express version shows up. After selecting the correct license in the License Utility, the utility software states, that MathCAD 7 Prime was successfully activated. After closing the utility, MathCAD 7 Prime restarts in the express version again while showing the dialog to enter a valid license. Looking into the file C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\MathcadPrime.exe.V7.Config, the property "LicenseType" is set to "NoLicense". Entering the license using the license manager was tried in two different ways. With directly providing the license file and with a license server. The result stays the same, the utility software states a successful activation. After MathCAD restart, no license is active... Is there any logging for the licensing process of MathCad 7 Prime available? Thanks

I am trying to find the min/max value at each index across 2 matricies.The min/max function finds the smallest/largest value across both matricies at every index, which is not what i want.. PNG and mathcadfile attached for clarity. I am using mathcad prime 9.0.0.0. I have tried several syntaxes (shown in the attachment), but to no luck. Does anyone know the syntax for this? Cheers,Sebastian

I wrote a small program to simulate astro dynamics.The program crashes (program terminate and disappear from screen) when I increase the number of iterations and celestial bodies. No error message! Can someone help? I can share my program. Thanks Serge

Make five points on the circle with all distances of the points to be integer. The puzzle is to find the minimum of r. Next, the same puzzle except the number of points are 10.
