Continuing the topic Plane, sphere & cone When I was a student, we solved the following problem in a class on descriptive geometry (now it’s engineering graphics). There are two triangles in three-dimensional space. Triangles intersect. You need to draw triangles in stereometry and in three projections. The triangles are colored - one red and the other blue. It is also necessary to draw a segment of their intersection. Can this be done in Mathcad? Better than 15th. I hope someone will enjoy solving this problem. And remember your student youth. PS I did all this without a computer, of course. I first drew on whatman paper with a pencil, and then outlined everything with drawing ink. Then I removed the pencil lines with stale bread. There is a brilliant story about this. Witches' Loaves by O. Henry Miss Martha Meacham kept the little bakery on the corner (the one where you go up three steps, and the bell tinkles when you open the door). Miss Martha was forty, h
Can the pdesolve function (Prime 9) work with units? See lease two sheets in attach
I want to multiple these two matrix without summing the answer. Like the first value of q times the first value of A and the result should be matrix not a final result
I want to merge to metrics in only one metric, m should contain the values of both q and As
This is also puzzle of youtube. And not question. Anywaw, Mathcad can solve.
I am unable to get odesolve working in my worksheet could somebody help?
Hi my Mathcad 9.0 shown "you have reached the maximum number of license available from your product type.how to fix it? i used to free 30 days trial.
New to Mathcad, running into an error I can't resolve. I have defined all of my matrices and variables up top, but in the solver block there are unrecognized variables. Error is: "This variable is undefined. Check that the label is set correctly." Anyone have an idea what might be going on? See screenshot below. Using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0
Hello.Im using Mathcad prime 9.0.0.0need to create an analysis in which im comparing my results with my requirements.need some kind of function to do that but not really sure where to start or what to look for. something like my maximum voltage calculated is 16V, but per requirement im allowed to go up to 18Vso want a function that compare this 2 values and show them like:"Result: 16V - Margin: 12.5% - PASS"
I want to solve three equations with three unknowns and display the solution on a 3D graph with two points - the roots of the equation.I can’t find Vyacheslav Mezentsev’s utility (Mathcad 15 or Prime) for such drawing two close surface. Help please.
All the variables are defined , However I couldn't figure out why it is not working
Happy New Year! This month’s challenge is based around statistics, specifically permutations and combinations around shuffling a deck of cards. It’s inspired by this article: https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/did-you-know-infographics/there-are-more-ways-arrange-deck-cards-there-are-atoms-earth Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to perform the following in Mathcad Prime: (Basic) Calculate the number of ways to shuffle a deck of cards. (Standard 52 card deck, no Jokers). (Basic) Calculate the number of ways to shuffle a deck of cards if the suit (heart, diamond, spade, club) doesn’t matter. Calculate the number of ways to shuffle a deck of cards consisting of just the face cards (jacks, queens, and kings). If you could shuffle the deck one time a second, how long would it take to shuffle each possible way? (Express the result in hours, days, or years, whichever is easiest for people to grasp.) How long would it take to shuffle the face cards until
Hello,
@Werner_E wrote: 3) Use a small program to create vectors of your choice - you can chose to use the same argument order as in the definition of a range. Similar routines also were posted here from time to time and a command like this should be part of Mathcad/Prime out of the box. Unfortunately it isn't. I see that the topic is from 2016 and it is now 2024 but i had basically the same issue. Have i to conclude that it is still not fixed to create easy a vector in some range? ----- Initially posted in this topic
Dear ladies and gentlemen, We have 2 Mathcad licenses, but I can't find the product code for them right now. If you need any more information from me in this regard, please let me know. We currently have the situation that we have 2 licenses and had to change the MAC addresses for them and reinstall them at the same time. Now we are faced with the issue that Mathcad 15 can no longer be licensed with the current licenses because Mathcad is too old. So my question to you is, do you still see a possibility of getting Mathcad licensed despite a new installation, or are the licenses no longer usable for us in combination with Mathcad? Thank you very much for your effort. R. I need to calculate the bearing capacity of the soil for pile foundation/ How to make MathCAD choose the minimum value always when it goes through a set of values. and there is not a certain minimum value, but it has to choose from the listed until a smaller number appear?
Hi, I am looking to solve for F2 in the below image, Can anyone help on how to get this working in MathCad please?
Hello,I am using Adams to solve the differential equations as below but failed, may anyone could suggest how to solve it or should I use another equation. The error can only disappear when x was deleted in the equation..,x from 0 to 10000 Thanks in advance.PW
Good morning to all,I have a matrix that works well in Mathcad 15 but provides wrong values in Prime 9.0.I only converted the matrix from Mathcad 15 to Prime 9.0, which did not work well in Prime 9.0. Even though it does not mention any error in Prime 9.0, It simply does not provide the right matrix elements in Prime 9.0.The files below Matrix Right (the one in Mathcad 15) and Matrix Wrong (the one in Prime 9.0) are the two files I am talking about. Any help will be very much appreciated. regards, Rogelio
I am trying to write a code in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to make a K matrix by making the K0 matrix of zeroes populate with k matrix numbers as shown below and in the file attached. If anyone could please help me with the Mathcad code for that it would be much appreciated! (P.S. I do not have any experience with coding therefore I am not even sure where to start) Here is my mathcad: This is what the K matrix should look like and it should be able to work for any n value
Dear Community Members, I've been working on a Mathcad function to exchange rows and columns of a square symmetric matrix, and I would appreciate your feedback on its correctness.I tried but it gives an error. The png file has the problem and the Mathcad has the solution that I tried. Thanks for the help. AR
If I have a vector A and B both with 10 elements. How can i create a vector C that has the minimum values of A or B on each corresponding position. Thanks in advance !
I am trying to combine a few load cases (speed and loading combinations) into arrays (or matrix), see simple example of input and what I'd like to achieve. I know how I could use nested FOR to loop through the arrays but I don't know how to assign variables to get the end result. Or is there a different way? I hardly know anything about functions and programming in Mathcad.
Hi, I have a MCP sheet that pulls from some matrices to perform basic calculations that takes over an hour to complete. I would like to improve this significantly if possible. I tried to rely on built-in functions (e.g., "lookup") when possible for calculation efficiency. The main calculation (image below) uses data from three matrices (36177x9, 2412x9, 1206x12) to perform basic +-x/ calculations resulting in a 216619x8 matrix. At the end of the sheet, there is some red text that helps point this out. File attached. If anyone has tips for how to improve calculation speed or is able to help me optimize this process, I would much appreciate it! I had to install MCAD 14 on a new machine. To my great surprise, that went well, except that I cannot access QuickSheets. When I try, I get the message below. Can anyone help with this?
