I need to calculate the bearing capacity of the soil for pile foundation/ How to make MathCAD choose the minimum value always when it goes through a set of values. and there is not a certain minimum value, but it has to choose from the listed until a smaller number appear?

Good morning to all,I have a matrix that works well in Mathcad 15 but provides wrong values in Prime 9.0.I only converted the matrix from Mathcad 15 to Prime 9.0, which did not work well in Prime 9.0. Even though it does not mention any error in Prime 9.0, It simply does not provide the right matrix elements in Prime 9.0.The files below Matrix Right (the one in Mathcad 15) and Matrix Wrong (the one in Prime 9.0) are the two files I am talking about. Any help will be very much appreciated. regards,  Rogelio

I am trying to write a code in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to make a K matrix by making the K0 matrix of zeroes populate with k matrix numbers as shown below and in the file attached. If I have a vector A and B both with 10 elements. How can i create a vector  C that has the minimum values of A or B on each corresponding position.Thanks in advance !

I am trying to combine a few load cases (speed and loading combinations) into arrays (or matrix), see simple example of input and what I'd like to achieve. I know how I could use nested FOR to loop through the arrays but I don't know how to assign variables to get the end result. Or is there a different way? I hardly know anything about functions and programming in Mathcad. 

Hi, I have a MCP sheet that pulls from some matrices to perform basic calculations that takes over an hour to complete. I would like to improve this significantly if possible. I tried to rely on built-in functions (e.g., "lookup") when possible for calculation efficiency. The main calculation (image below) uses data from three matrices (36177x9, 2412x9, 1206x12) to perform basic +-x/ calculations resulting in a 216619x8 matrix. At the end of the sheet, there is some red text that helps point this out. I had to install MCAD 14 on a new machine. To my great surprise, that went well, except that I cannot access QuickSheets. When I try, I get the message below. Can anyone help with this?

Using Prime 9.0Hello,I have a large matrix of time and current data for 6 different channels. The even columns (0,2,4,6,8,10) contain the time data for the odd current data columns to the right (1,3,5,7,9,11) - Excel image shown below for visual clarity.I am trying to sum up the current data of the 6 channels into a 2 column matrix (time, current) adding the currents at the appropriate times. The time data is in microseconds with time steps of ~.006-.007 μs and the channels time data overlap with start times shifted by 7.5 μs. For example, Channel 0's time data spans from 7.5 μs to 41 μs, Channel 1's time data spans from 15 μs to 48.5 μs, and so on. One legacy feature that has still not been integrated into Mathcad Prime, is the ability to provide companion XML files that integrate Custom Functions documentation into the Mathcad interface.  Legacy Mathcad would read these XML files and add the new functions to the list of internal functions in the Insert Functions panel under their own, specified Function Category.Legacy Insert Function Panel While Mathcad Prime does contain a Functions panel for inserting built-in functions (can be triggered with <F2>), it does not allow for incorporation of categorized Custom Functions into that interface.
