Hello! How can I sum all the values given in a table by using the Summation operator? Each row is n=1, n=2 and so on.Please, take a look at the attached file.

Hello.  I'm new to Mathcad, and I'm trying out some symbolic variable definitions.  Can I define a variable like this? : I have tried to mimic the w^2 term, but I am unable to set an assignment statement. Thanks in advance.

Obtaining the ASYMPTOTIC Bode plot for the following transfer function: Mathcad Prime 7 result:   Why does the result in the Mathcad Prime 7 not look like it looks like in the figure in the example??The idea is that I want the plot in Mathcad Prime 7 to look exactly like in the picture above, with straight lines and those corners, and not to bend corners Mathcad Prime 7 at w=2 and w=10.Mathcad Prime 7 file attached.  

Hello,I would like to ask if it is possible to interpolate a value between 2 plots or more as shown in the picture. For example, I want to get value of GHh for H=1.5 m and dimeter 6 in.  

Hi all,I am new Mathcad user and stuck in using matrix in an equation. I have equation X equal to other variables, one of them is Z which is varying in intervals. I put Z in a matrix, as showing the pic.  I want X  outputs in values or matrix, but mathcad show an error.Is there a way that can form it to get X values based of z values rather than using many separate equations?   

To all I am looking at the ODESolve with a “saw tooth” input (y’’) and I get a very spiky response – see attached (mcad 15 wsheet will follow)Why is that?Tried different time steps but always get this rather spiky response ThanksJohn

The company I work for just updated from Mathcad prime 7 to Mathcad prime 8. Is there a reason why it is so slow? Is there any suggestions as to remedy this?With version 7, if I changed a variable it took less than 5 minutes for it to filter through the worksheet and I was still able to scroll with relative smoothness. Version 8 is horrible! It is taking 2 to 3 times as long for the same worksheets to filter through, scrolling during this is virtually obsolete and it will crash unexpectedly,Can someone from PTC answer why version 8 is this way? What are the steps being taken to fix this?

I am trying to get solution for equation getting error 

The attached file is corrupted - Element content is incomplete according to the DTD/Schema, Line number 1134, Char Pos 21. Can some one offer suggestions on how to fix the file?  

Hello! Would you, please, point out why I can't evaluate the symbolic expression of of the r(x,0) function while d(0) is possible to evaluate? Those are identical expressions but by some reason Mathcad evaluates correctly only one of them. It is inconvinient to introduce new function such as d(t) to compute r(x,t). I marked equations by the blue colour. Best regards,Sergey

For units within plot I am getting error this variable is undefined. Can someone please help what I am doing wrong in this

I'm having some issues heres, if someone could help that would be very appreciated . I want to solve the following equation : Y=x(R2/(R1+R2)Where : Y=0.8,X=12,R1=10R2=UnknownSo I type the following on mathcad : R1:= 10 X:=12Y:=0.8Y=x(R2/(R1+R2) => Solve,R2Unfortunately it keeps saying that R2 is undefined . Hello,I have few questions in the attached MathCAD 15 sheet:1. I had to Victoria's the equation to make it work but i did not do to others. I'd like to know why.2. I expect to see three values in the results for each variable, but not able to. My initial input is three lengths Lx, Ly and Lz and I need to get the strength results for  three different lengths. Then arrange then as such  so for each length, the corresponding strength. Thanks,Sam

Hi!   I want to embed a MathCad file in to word. This is possible to do in Word, however it seems that it is only possible to embedd MathCad 15, and not MathCad Prime.   Has anyone been able to embedd MathCad Prime versions into word, e.g. MathCad Prime v.8.0?

Hi, I noticed in the attached sheet that I couldn't integrate a function containing vector input. The same issue came up in my solve blocks trying to find a solution for an equation with vector input. I made a work around by splitting up the vector input in individual elements. Does anyone know a solution that doesn't involve splitting up the vector input? I have highlighted my questions in the attached sheet. Thank you!

Hi, could someone help me figuring out where I made a mistake in my iteration program? I would like to return a value c for every element from the input matrix, but the output shows only one value so far. I have highlighted the question in the attached sheet. Thank you!
