I have 2 questions:   1- hiding the collapsed regions: I saw the answer in another older post dated 2012, but it does not seem to work with me. I am using MathCAD prime 6.0 ... Am I missing something? 2- Is it possible to create nested hidden regions? (i.e a hidden inside another hidden one...Thanks

I am using Mathcad Prime 4.0 M010Looking at Task3-1: "Modeling ODEs in State-Space" in the help file it does not appear that the C or D matrices are used in the state space solution. Can you explain how these matrices would be included? Also, is it possible to use test data (force vs time history from a load cell) for the input forcing function instead of an equation? If so how would this be accomplished. Thanks!

I have a worksheet that contains hundreds of scriptable objects. I opened the worksheet disabling the scriptable objects in order to work on other areas more easily assuming that, when I opened the worksheet selecting the option not to disable scriptable objects they would all be re-enabled. Is there an option I've missed to enable all scriptable objects or does anyone know of a workaround? 

Help a Mathcad-beginner out!    I have programmed a design-model for bending of one single cross-section for a floor slab. I want to optimize this calculation-model to be able to calculate for several cross-sectional dimensions. My first idea was to vectorize the different values, but it wasn't as easy as i thought because of several dimension-errors.   What is the best solution to be able to compute this for all different combinations of cross-sectional dimensions (hw,bw,hf)?     Regards, Lisa (Mathcad prime 6)  

How can I define the variable that I already found using solve symbolics, without copy pasting the result? I tried using the solve block, but I couldn't get the results for some reason. so I converted the two equations to one, then I used solve symbolics and found one of the variables. However, when I tried to I try to write the variable which I already found, underneath, it says the variable is undefined?  The variables I need to find are Ft1 and Ft2  

Hello everyone   I attached tow work sheets with PRIME7. I was very surprised about I1 ... Is this a bug? Or is this joke?  

I am using a simple if statement, regardless of the value of the defining variable it prints out the second term's value. However, if I give the file to a coworker the if statement works correctly.      Unsuccessful things I have tried:  * Two separate coworkers opened the file and it worked correctly for them without modifying anything.  * Changed defining variable to something completely undefined elsewhere.  * Rebooted my computer. * Uninstalled v15.05 and reinstalled.  * Uninstalled v15.05 and installed v14.35.   I am loosing my mind. I have no idea what else to do. 

.... I am overwhelmed with pain ..... .... and now how do I do it?!?!?!

I have been plotting current passing w.r.t time in Mathcad Prime 7.0. But it gives the message, "Plotting failed, Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers". It is a simple program and there are no complex values and NaNs. I can't figure out what's the reason for this failure. But when I plot the same program in Mathcad v15 it plots successfully with no error. I am wondering whats the problem with Mathcad Prime 7.0. Is it a bug?

Hi all, I hope all of you are enjoying life! I am working on finding the stationary points of function of several variables f(x,y).  Problems: 1- How do I solve a system of equations without knowing its guess values? I took me a while to get the values x=5 and y=10 otherwise the equation solver does not work.  2- It seems that I have inputted the equations wrong to find the nature of stationary points ? Can anyone give me advice or tell me why is this not working? So, I1 should be a negative number(I think) The correct answer is: a saddle point at (1,-1) [according to the maths textbook]    (Update: problem 3: how do solve an equation that has more than one solution? when I used solve block it only returns one solution) Please have a look at my worksheet.

Hi all I am using the readexcel function in mathcad prime 6.0.0.0 and to even read in a number it comes in as not a scaler. is there a set format in excel that i am missing as you can see the number below comes in in brackets [1] as an example. I have tried both .xlsx and .xlsm file types both give me the same.    note: the if function below is just an example to show I cant use the data brought in because of the [1] (brackets).      Thanks Ben   

I'm pretty new to Mathcad like today new, and all I'm trying to do is multiply and take the square root of a bunch of values in matrices but I can't get it to work for the life of me. I've attached a screenshot. My project consists of plotting a bunch of bending moments and shear force diagrams so I have two matrices from two plots with about 500 rows of values and just want to do a simple calculation to get another matrix output that I can take the maximum value from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive also attached the file below in case anyone needs that.   

Hi all, I hope everyone is having a great day! I am trying to plot a bode plot(i.e gain in dB w.r.t w in rads-1) at specific frequencies inputted in a vector/matrix.  How then do I plot the column matrix('gaindB') with w(rad s-1) on the horizontal axis?  The transfer function is given by f(s) where s represents laplace constant of j*w I have attached my workings below.

In this example when using Celsius or Fahrenheit there is a small degree symbol typed before the C or F. How do you type this symbol in Mathcad Prime 3.1? I have enter many equations into a  folder on my HP Calculator and solve problems by jumping from equation to equations one at a time.  I provide a value for all variables in the equations expect one and solve for the unkown by selecting the SOLVE command. For example: Power=Flow*TDH*SG/(3960*Eff) The HP solver provides a list of all varialbles: Power, Flow, TDH, SG, EFF:  Enter any (4) and solve for the latter.   I would like to enter the equation into MathCad Prime 6.0: and solve for any one of the unknown.   Please Help!.

So, I just noticed Matlab has a home use license for $149 usd. Maplesoft has a home use license for $239 usd. Mathcad has no home use license at all. This really sucks. I'm retired and would like to get a Mathcad home use license. Also, I wish you would put classic Mathcad in the store. Have a home use license for just classic Mathcad. That would be ideal. Or at least make it clear in the store that if you buy Prime you can get classic Mathcad. I hardly ever use Mathcad, so buying a commercial license makes no sense at all.   also hope classic Mathcad will get better image import. it's horrible right now.
