I am using Mathcad 15. I have downloaded many zipped XMCD files from this community site in the past. Now whenever I search topics regarding queries I have, the attached zipped files now seem to always be MCDX which I believe is a Prime file. When extracted these files are "greyed" in the file explorer and will not open. Is there something I need to do to convert to Mathcad format? Many Thanks Ross

Hi, I am still learning Mathcad. I need help with making some of the formulas easier, with looping or any other technique.   My spreadsheet is full of some equations with toms of variables, each one is calculated previously 12 times,    I appreciate it if someone can provide a shorter format for each of the following four equations, and I will try to apply the same technique in all of them...           Thanks a lot    

Hi I want to solve a mechanical torsors problem, but I don't know how to go about it with Mathcad I have a circular platform. on this platforme i have 3 point B1,B2,B3 on each point i have a forces, respectively F1,F2,F3. About it i know directional vector for each forces. My platform have a spherical joint in this center (point C). And i have a torsor which define exterior mechanical load applied on platform at C point.   1°/ i write mechanical component: obviously expressed respectively at each point    Now, i want to solve it find FB1,FB2,FB3,X,Y,Z     For this, i want to make a torsors transportation on C point!   And now! i am stuck😥   I make a light mc file for add to this post

Hello,What is the reason for these two different results?(The result with Mathcad function is good)But I think, if I am not making a mistake in the first approach, both results should be identical. So, what am I missing, or what am I doing wrong?

How to write a simple expression with multi-level parenthesis in Math Cad Prime: A={[(2+3)*5+(4+1)*8]*7+(2+4)}*6 This is very easy in Math Cad 15, but in Math Cad Prime when I open a parenthesis the program automatically inserts closing parenthesis not in the location I need; very frustrating.

Hi Folks,   I just got Prime 7 and tried to do a sample calculation for a class.  It doesn't seem to be able to evaluate a very simple integral.  V15 and MATLAB both get the right answer with no problem.   The weird part is that it only gives the wrong answer when the number is 4.  I didn't see a problem with other numbers.  This was for a lesson on Fourier series.   Hopefully, the problem is me and not Prime 7.  I most appreciate any suggestions.   Mark

Hello dear friends,   Even though I have copied CoolPropMathcadWrapper.dll file to C:\Program Files\PTC\Mathcad Prime 3.1\Custom Functions, I still cannot reach any functions of the dll. I searched on the Internet but I couldn't find anyone who faced the same problem. I would be really appreciated if anyone could help me.

I have 2 questions:   1- hiding the collapsed regions: I saw the answer in another older post dated 2012, but it does not seem to work with me. I am using MathCAD prime 6.0 ... I am using Mathcad Prime 4.0 M010Looking at Task3-1: "Modeling ODEs in State-Space" in the help file it does not appear that the C or D matrices are used in the state space solution. Can you explain how these matrices would be included? Also, is it possible to use test data (force vs time history from a load cell) for the input forcing function instead of an equation? If so how would this be accomplished. Thanks!

I have a worksheet that contains hundreds of scriptable objects. I opened the worksheet disabling the scriptable objects in order to work on other areas more easily assuming that, when I opened the worksheet selecting the option not to disable scriptable objects they would all be re-enabled. Is there an option I've missed to enable all scriptable objects or does anyone know of a workaround? 

Help a Mathcad-beginner out!    I have programmed a design-model for bending of one single cross-section for a floor slab. I want to optimize this calculation-model to be able to calculate for several cross-sectional dimensions. My first idea was to vectorize the different values, but it wasn't as easy as i thought because of several dimension-errors.   What is the best solution to be able to compute this for all different combinations of cross-sectional dimensions (hw,bw,hf)?     Regards, Lisa (Mathcad prime 6)
