I had to reinstall Mathcad 15. Now it cannot find the help files for either M045 or M050. Any help is appreciated. This is the error message I get when I click on Help>Mathcad Help or I press F1. Reg Curry
Dear All, Is there any option for mathcad 15 to just keep the solution it arrived at before closing (and saving) the sheet for its next use ? I mean, if I have the automatic calculation turned off, and I have some statements like a:= 5 b:=6 c:=a+b c=11 (pressing f9 / caluculate shows the answer for the value of c) If I save and exit, the next time I open the sheet, can I have mathcad directly show me 11 as the value of c (without me pressing f9 again) ? Many thanks for your time in advance ! Warm Regards, Aravind.
Not sure why the results at the end are incorrect. There do not appear to be any mathcad errors. Any help would be appreciated.
I've got a matrix with i rows and j columns. I'd like to add all i scalars in column 0 as the 0th element in a new j-element vector, and add all i scalars in column 1 as the 1th element etc.. How? The column operator seems to require an integer, not a range variable to select the column.
Dear community, I am trying to calculate the current I dependent of V of a photovoltaik cell in . To solve this equation I am using the LambertW function. Unfortunately, I ran into two problems that I have not figured out yet: 1. I wanted to define the argument LambertW-function W(z) in symbolic form, i.e. I wanted to type out equation I want to use for z inside the parentheses of the LamberW-function. I made sure that all the units in the function cancel each other out. Nonetheless I receive an error, that "This value has unit voltage, but needs to have unit unitless". If I just solve the argument z of the function the value is unitless. The expression W(z) can be solved though however if I provide unitless variables. I achieved this by dividing each variable by its respective unit, therefore making the input unitless. This bothers me a little though since I haven't found the reason for this problem or how to solve it. 2. I wanted to plot the function W in d
Hi, I am trying to use solve function to calculate variable's value, but I do not know how to assign this for further calculations. Please see attached. Thanks
Hi, I met something strange with symbolic
Five points are known - the coordinates of the asterod approaching the Earth. Will it face the Earth or fly by? (Armageddon (1998 film) ). I have one solution, but I do not consider it the most optimal or the most beautiful. Can you give your solutions. Prime 5 in Attach.
Hello, In the attached worksheet, the FFT of a function is calculated. I would like to get the amplitude at each of the frequencies from the signal. From the plots of the FFT magnitude at various frequencies, it can be seen that the peaks amplitude decrease with increasing the frequency. The plots also show that sometimes the first peak is larger than the second peak and sometimes it is reversed. I was wondering if this is a natural behavior of FFT or I must modify the script. I greatly appreciate your advice. All the best, Payman
Hi I`m trying to make simple calculation but without success. What`s the problem? MC15 file is attached for convenience. Thanks in advance.
Hi I write a new calculus sheet, with it, i want to calculate a kinematic for parallel glide structure( is it a Clavel's Delta robot variation) In my sheet, i don't understand why prime don't solve the last equation see attached file Anyone can help me ?
I do not understand why I not get v_2 in mm and Ø_2 in rad?

I was just wondering if there are any free MathCAD software for student. I saw there is a version where student have to buy it for $60 and valid for 1 year only.
I'm having a problem with Prime's assignment of labels, and I'm looking for a simple way to not fall into this hole again. Attached are Prime 6 worksheet and figure.
Hey, I have an assignment for school and the file is saved in old xmcd format from Mathcad15. Now I'm only able to work in Prime and I can't seem to be able to run Mathcad15 at my laptop so I either have to remake it all in Prime or have someone to convert it so if anyone would be so nice to do it I would be thankful.
Hi,I've a problem with the 'explicit'-command. The inserted values of the calculated equations are displayed as an unusual long number. I just want a number with max three decimal places after the comma. How can i fix this problem?Kind regardsMarco
The attached files have both been corrupted with following error code: Does anyone have an idea, as to why this problem occurs? I am using MathCad Prime 5.0.0.0 Thanks for the help
I sewed myself an academic cap on the day of the number π with the number π raised on the facade. The cap area is minimal. The size of my head is 58 cm. The volume of the cap was equal to π liters. Tomorrow I'll go with this cap to celebration of π-number!
Hi. I am doing a pretty simple calculation and I expect x = 3.3117 but 'solve' would not return the value. I am inserting an additional line to calculate x manually in the middle of a design MathCad sheet but it is painful. Why couldn't MathCad perform that simple numerical calculation but only repeat it symbolically? Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, i have the latest Mathcad 15 that i came with Prime 6. In the old Mathcad 15 I used to be able to do "Control+shift+J" to create brackets around the variable. I am having trouble with it with the new mathcad 15. Is this feature still there? i assume it is. i noticed when i do it it launches another software called cisco Jabber. Thanks, Sam
Hello. How can I solve for c_1 og c_2 symbolic?
i am working with fourier at the moment and when i assume n as integer is gives an error message, as seen in the photo linked am i using this wrong or is it not able to apply to this. i know the answer is 2/(pi^2*n^2) but i would like to have mathcad solve it for me for other equations
Hi All, I am very new in Mathcad, have a very basic question. consider the below equation: Mathcad solves the equation and finds the "v" as is expected. Now I add units to the equation: I don't know why I don't get the same value here directly after "solve,v"? In the following, I can return the value of "v" and get the values which are correct. Is there any way to skip the part shows first within the [ ] and get the final answer? In addition, Is it possible to rewrite the equation symbolically and get an expression for "v": another example for clarification: Thanks.
I have been looking at some of your post and learned a lot. I am new to mathcad 15 and i have come across a problem with units. I have a program which gives me a matrix and that matrix has different units. how do i assign the different units within that program
