Mathcad

I cannot figure out how to change the font type and size on an axis in any plot. I cannot see the values on an axis without zooming in. Copying a plot to paste into another document leaves me with a graph that is nearly unuseable. U can change the axis label fonts easily enough but the actual values on the axis is impossible. I certainly must be overlooking where the command(s) are to do this.

Hey guys,   I was working on two files where mathcad suddenly hanged and shut down, now the files can open but last few edits are missing. How do I recover the missing edits? Can someone help? I also noticed two new files on the desktop (where original Mathcad files are) .tmp, now I attached only one file but not sure which .tmp belongs to it.   The files are attached

Hi guys as you see I am using this matrix and want to find eigenvalues and vector but dont understand the difference between two numeric and symbolic solutions, why are they different?   Thanks

Werner_E recently instructed me on how to utilize the root function but now that I try and implement it I think that Prime is manipulating the storage of that functions return values in new variables which leads to inexplicable problems down the line.    Here on page 2, I use root and store the values in alpha and beta however Prime sets their label to "keyword" and presumably that is interfering with the integration on page 3. I try changing the label with the drop down menu but PTC is not having it and the label reverts back to their pre-set. What gives?

Hello PTC community,   I searched all over the internet, but i could not find a solution for my problem, with my limited knowledge of mathcad usage (civil engineering student). I have attached a picture of my table that i have to interpolate the values. it kills me that I can not solve it. i have looked at all topics about 2d interpolation, but i couldn't not understand to reproduce.   I will be very grateful for any help!

Here we have tried to find a symbolic solution for the problem of two cones. But we can cut out three cones from a round billet! We can show with the help of graphics and numerical mathematics that the third cone is superfluous - the maximum total volume can be only for two cones.Can we show this using symbolic MATHEMATICS? Im a newbie in mathcad, im using mathcad 15. My problem is that somehow polyroots isnt working properly for me. I attached an example, which explains my problem. My original task is to create a program, which solves a function, similar to the one u can find in the example file. One of the coeffecients (the constant) is the function of time in my task. Then i have to pick out the appropriate real root and illustrate it as the function of time. Unfortunately polyroots is the only suitable way to execute the task according to my short term mathcad knowledge. Thanks for the help!

To all expert,A simple question on the use of the ‘simplify’ option in mcad 15. I was looking at trying to simplify some simple equation and after some simple manip I ended up with:            f*B / SQRT(f^3*A*C) which can be then simplified to            (1/sqrt(f)) * (B/sqrt(A*C))                    I was interested in “extracting (B/sqrt(A*C))   Question: Why is mcad 15 not able to further simplify the term f/sqrt(f^3) ?   Thanks Regards

I have a piecewise non-period behavior that I'm trying to express by using two intervals but all I get is a blue dot for the second trace if the spacing its space is defined to be other than the default value of "1". Do I have to use logic statements to graph piecewise if I don't want a spacing of "1" between points to graph on my blue trace?    It seems I'm strictly limited to the array in purple for subsequent plot lines after the first? I guess that's O.K. for plots with a magnitudinous domain but I only want to plot up to "1" so it is a bit inconvenient.   Thanks in advance for your guidance...

I would like to buy mathcad 15, but cannot find it in ptc store. I've read that buying mathcad prime gives you mathcad 15 license as well. Is it true and will it work? I'd like to buy a student license.
