Hi everybody does any body have idea how can I set VBscript behind a contorl to use it as a dynamic combo box I mean I want to set 2 combo box in worksheet which senond one being depends on selection in the first one as we can do it in listbox but I was not succeed to do the same in combo box I am not that much familiar with VBscript and I do not know which part of code is wrong  and I also know it needs something like Listbox.resetCount at the first but for comboBox so your help will be highly apriciated  I attached my trying file thanks

Hi!How can i write the 4th-6th term in the biharmonic equation, using mathcad 14? RegardsSigurd

When I try to open this file I get a message saying it is corrupt with the reason "element content is invalid according to the dtd/schema". Does anyone have any ideas on how I can recover the file. I will attach the file if anyone can help me out. Thanks

How can I find Alpha if "m", "m_2" and "e" are known. (I'm using Mathcad prime 3)

All our mathcad files are in the Mathcad 15 format (i.e. .mcd and .xmcd) However at my new company we want to purchase a Mathcad 15 licence, but on the PTC website only Prime 4.0 is available. If i buy the Prime 4.0 licence, shall i get Mathcad 15.0 too ? As i understand prime and mathcad 15.0 are not 100% compatible.

Hello,  I am working on a project, but can not find a way to produce a decent log plot over a large range. The issue is that if I use the log function under plots with a range variable for my x values there will be too few data points on the low end of the plot to look smooth. So I tried making a log-based x set of data using a range variable converted to a power based set of vector data, variable d, but the when plotting it says can not divide by zero. Though after multiple checks, I do not believe my d values ever goes to zero. I just need to be able to make a plot of y vs log(x) able to span a range of 10^-10 to 10^-3 meters and have sufficient data points for the small x values.  Also getting this error now for the second attempt, Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers.

Hi to all I have a table (table_data) that contains a large number of rows in which the coordinates of X, Y and Z of several objects named POLYLINE and LWPOLYLINE are found. I need to extract the values of those coordinates, sort them in a table and indicate which belong to one object and which belong to the other. To better understand what I want, I attached an example of what I want to do automatically, since I do it manually and it takes a lot of time. In advance thanks for the help

Hi, Could anyone help me out regarding calculation of outlet temperature of parallel flow tubes heat exchanger design? In my case, 500kW/m^2 is peak flux on surface of 20 tubes and the outlet temperature is less than 200c.so,  what would be the key factor in this scenario to achieve desire temperature, e.g. tube dia, fluid velocity, mass flow rate or any other factor? 

I am trying to have my results in gallons/day but my answer keeps giving me cubic meters/day even though my inputs are in gallons/day     Please help

Hi!I would like to ask if it is possible or if there is any workaround to passing a file path to a variable then using this variable for the Insert > Reference feature?For example, my file is located at "C:\sample.xmcd".I would like to assign it to a variable that:FilePath:="C:\sample.xmcd"Then use this file path for Insert > Reference > Insert Reference to File in another worksheet.This is because I have some user-defined functions defined in sample.xmcd that I would like to call in another worksheet.If this is not possible, is there any other way to reference user-defined functions?Please note that hiding the functions in the worksheet is not an option. So is defining those user-defined functions in the same worksheet.Thanks and best regards!

 Hi everybody, I'm try to learn more about this software so my questions maybe are a bit basic. Is there any simple way to extract the minimun values of a arrays of a matrix a generate another matrix 1xn ?. Something like this:    The problem is that the size of the matrix wil change in each exercise. Thank you in advance.

Hello all, Hopefully this is something you could help me with. I am using Mathcad14, but I do have access also to Mathcad15 if needed (but not any Prime versions).   Suppose I have a sheet with this simple function: a(b,f):=b+f   I need to: a) display again lower in the sheet the exact formula of function a (meaning, I want to be able to type somewhere lower in the sheet "a(b,f)=" and then for Mathcad to automatically add after this "b+f")   b) I want to "export" a(b,f):=b+f (or even at least b+f) as a string to a file (excel preferrably)   I do have some (limited) scripting ability and I did manage to export data to excel files, but I can only do so with strings or simple variables. I have not found yet a way to do this for formulas. I am not even sure if it is possible. I do realize "formula to string" is a BIG thing, due to the many possible formats a formula may appear as, but atm I am really dealling with very simple expressions, like a*b+c (single row, basic o

At the last event "PTC LiveWorx Europe 2015" in November of 2015 it was presented a roadmap for the development of Mathcad Prime 4.0 and some future steps (themes) for Prime direction. PDF "PTC Mathcad Roadmap_2015" can be found in attachment. You can see what updates are planned for version 4.0 (now the release of version 4.0 is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2016 year) and is scheduled for subsequent releases after 4.0.Update_June 2016: New timeline (at time of June 2016) for Mathcad/Mathcad Prime product:Update_Jule 2016: In June of 2016 year within an annual meeting conference "PTC LiveWorx 2016" the new program of development for Mathcad Prime was submitted. For future release of Mathcad Prime 4.0 the same new planned features were shown in the program about which I wrote earlier here (except for expanded options of creation of 2D plots - this feature is transferred it for 5.0 version😞 Mathcad Prime 4.0: some new updatesPDF "PTC Mathcad Roadmap_2016" can be found in attachment.

It's been a while since I've checked in.  Is there any news on a projected release date for Prime 5?  The last roadmap I saw is now pretty old.
