Mathcad

I have various data sets I'm performing some analysis on. Sometimes they have blanks, sometimes not.  I can easily filter out the blanks with filterNaN.  The problem is if there are no blanks the filterNaN errors out.  So, I have to rewrite the statements for each column as to whether I need to filter or not.  I'd like one command that works whether I have blanks or not. What are my options?  Here's a simple example: Here, I want to return B = [1 2 3 4 5]^TPrime 3.1 (and is this a bug?)Thanks,

Hi All, I have a function which including two exponential components, whose power factor x and y are different. I was trying to solve it by hand or by Mathcad solver, but did not succeed. Would anyone give me the instruction how to do this?Since an approximated solution is also acceptable, I  also tried to use the brute force method, in using match(0.9, XXX) and match(0.1, XXX) to solve, but it seems an exact match cannot be achieved. If someone can teach me how to get the approximated match, that would also be very helpful. Thank you!

HelloOnce again a silly interface question: I have a vector in polar form. Now I could easily write down the real and the imaginary values down go on from there but I want to be able to define the angle of the vector so that I can use that angle later on. However I can not find a MathCad feature or some neat trick to get that angle defined. I have attached a picture with an example to show you what I mean.I hope one of you have a neat solution. I have the attached linear system.  I want to solve for X1, X2, and X3 symbolically. three equations three unknowns, however the coefficients are unknown. Is this possible in MathCAD?

Hi everyone!It seems strange to me, but I am not finding in the forum any previous post to the subject.  I need to calculate the Complete Elliptic Integral of the 2nd kind.Since it will be evaluated many times inside a double loop, it would be probably unwise to define it using its "integral definition", because of performance.(from Wikipedia... sorry, I am not a mathematician...)Has someone good advice for me?  What I am going to try is to use the "Gauss hypergeometric function" that seems to be available in Mathcad (fhyper)Nevertheless I am unsure if this is a good idea.Thanks a lot for any hintsBest regardsClaudio

I come across these type of equations all the times where I have to find a variable displayed on both sides of an equation and if derived can lead to a quadratic or cubic.However I would like to know if there is any way without deriving the equation, to find the value for me? I try to do this but it does not work. see image below.I also would like to Know if Mathcad does algebraic operations and can cancel out variables or convert complex equations into their simplest forms?Thanks

Hi All, I have a simple summing circuit. Two sources  are the inputs via two resistors to generate a weighted signal Vref. Then this Vref is multiplying by a constant number "ratio" to get a Vout. The details of my circuit can be seen here:My target V1,V2 are within 0 to 5.3V, and target 10>"ratio">1, and all resistors should be between 10K to 1M ohm.  Right now I am not able to use if condition to solve the equation array to figure out what V1,V2,R1,R2 are. I have uploaded my worksheet in the attachment. Would anyone teach me how can I calculate these values within the reasonable range, by maintaining the other two parameters "ratio" and "Rsum1" within their reasonable range? Thank you!

Hello EverybodyI use MATHCAD PRIME 3.0.Does some one coulp help me with the syntax to set a value to a matrix' element in an array of matrix?On this example AA is an array/vector of 2 matrix 5x80.I can access to an element to get his value (67.34) but I am not able to set a value to this same element.Maybe the syntax I use is incorrect..Please Help !!!
