Mathcad

In Mathcad 15, if you have equations scatter along the sheet you can highlight, go to format, and the select align regions from the drop menu. How do you do that in Mathcad prime 8 ?       

Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.Hi we are the old user of Mathcad, Due to some issues we had gap more than 5years, now we are back and recalling the usages.We hope it is posible to create involute profile in MATHCAD software. We tried something but could not recollect the same.This profile creation would be useful for who are designing the Gear so that they can understand the impact of correction/undercut etc.Anyone tried the same in Mathcad software is so pl.suggest the approach/methodology or is it good to prefer the some other modelling software? I request mathcad experts suggestion in this. Regards  

I have defined the more than one values for a variable.The answer 0.21 mm is wrong (0.1mm is correct value).Kindly figure out why the answer is wrong. Regards,GSVP

I am doing some image processing in Mathcad Prime 9.0 and the path to the image files is so long that it runs off the right side of the screen. I see a discussion from 2011 for setting a path in older versions of Mathcad (15?) but I cannot seem to find that option in Prime 9.0. Well, as you may see from my other message, I switched to MC 15, but has the same path issue until I learned that I could use character strings as variables.   So, now have two path variables and a third string name set to the file name, and I concatenate all three with "concat" in the following manner: Array := READBMP(concat(Path1,Path2,Image_78_7))    

I have come to Prime after spending many years on first the DOS version of Mathcad and the various iterations up to 14. My initial try has been frustrating...functions moved and hard to find, graphing difficult, generally too different and counterintuitive. What was wrong with the earlier versions? Perhaps I am being a grumpy old man :).

I am having an ongoing issue with Mathcad. Every time I open my work files, the text blocks and images move! I usually have to start by "Separate Regions Vertically" and then manually move everything back into place. I use page breaks as well, but it doesn't work in some sections. I lose too much time to reorganizing my work. This issue also occurs when I update calculations. My first page usually has overlaps of photos and text blocks consistently after each open. The zoom is set to 100% and my display settings are also set to 100%. To recreate the issue, create text blocks with floating images between other text blocks. Save and reopen the Mathcad file. Text blocks move around since last save and floating images overlap text blocks. I am using Prime 9.0.0.0.

Dear All, I was trying to plot vk(t) vs ik(t). I am supposed to get only single plot for vk(t) vs ik(t).I am getting multiple overlapped plot while plotting for vk(t) vs ik(t).The mathcad code is attached below.My interest is, I need to only one plot for vk(t) vs ik(t).Could anyone rectify this problem. Hello, I have a documents that has elements on the right of the document "page" (viewable in the "draft" view).I tried multible ways to generate a PDF ("save as"; MS print2PDF "all"; select all elements and then in print dialog "selection") where I can see all content but I only see what's viewable in the "page" view.Increasing the page is not an option as I'm already at "A3" size. See attachments. RegardsHolgerDoes anybody

Kindly see the attached code. I would like to generate 10 samples of size 5. Then calculate the mean of each sample, so that I have 10 means.  However, my data contains only five elements. Obviously, something is wrong. Kindly assist.

I recently upgraded from Prime 8 to Prime 9, hoping for a resolution to the performance issues we've run into. I've noticed that files greater than around 3.5 MB experience a significant decrease in performance. Legacy Mathcad (15) didn't have these performance issues. I'm wondering if and when PTC is going to resolve this. I've seen a few workarounds, like vectorizing of for loops, etc, but we shouldn't have to resort to workarounds when the original Mathcad worked fine.

I'm struggling to get a for loop to run in Mathcad Prime 7.0.0 I have a matrix "d" that I want to stack "N" times. The matrix "d" could have any number of rows, and "N" >= 1  (these are defined elsewhere in my sheet). But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to iterate through the loop. Where have I gone wrong? The examples I see are using "i" inside the loop to perform an operation (sum several terms, etc.). Maybe since I'm not actually using "i" for the calculation anywhere it's breaking? Maybe because my stacked matrix isn't actually a function defined by "i"? Should I be using while instead of if?
