Mathcad Installation

I installed Mathcad Express (7.0 and 8.0 tested) on reseted windows 10 and it worked correctrly. As soon as I installed NET 7.0 (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/sdk-7.0.102-windows-x64-installer ) and rebooted the computer - a bug appeared:- create a text field (Ctl+T), enter the text;- enter the formula (Ctrl+Shift+M);- select the text (Ctrl+C);- paste the text - it is inserted without a formula (but if you copy only the formula, then it's copied correctly).Strange things:- The bug remains after NET 7.0 uninstalling. But I tried several times to reset windows 10 and after it bug is disapeared. And bug bring back every time after NET 7.0 installing and computer rebooting.- All others clipboard operations works correctly - only pasting text+formula into text area works incorrectly.Please give me a hint, what is special about this functional realization? Otherwise it is not clear what to write to NET developers in bugreport.   

Many features previously used in MathCAD 15 are not available in MathCAD Prime. Is it possible to purchase the version of MathCAD 15, and if so, how much does it cost for 1 seat?Sincerely, Sergey Maslov.

When acquire license, it is state that could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS with authority 'apps.ptc.com'.

It would be possible to extend my Mathcad trial student license because I'm didn't get to use the first 30 days due to a personal issue, so, now I hope to get familiar with the software and the advantages that it could bring to my studing process.Thanks!

I can't install Mathcad Prime 8. I have alredy Prime 7 (with watermark) and it works good. I can download the installer but when i launch "pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe" the installation process just stops after "extracting" window reaches 100%, and there are no installer window open after that.I have tried it many times and as administrator, but always same problem.

I have Mathcad Prime 8.0, and I would like to install it on my new computer. I am okay with uninstalling it on the computer it is currently on. When I installed it on my new computer, I got a watermark across the page instead of just the footer. How can I proceed with installing it on my new computer without the watermark across the page?

Hello,I have a problem with implementation a license into a server,or more likely reading the license from the server.I transfered a license from one server to another, using this instruction:https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad-Installation/How-to-Transfer-Mathcad-license-from-an-existing-Host-ID-to-a/m-p/788323#M1599After transfering and implementing it on FLEX License Manager, with help from given instructions,when i install mathcad 15 on my local machine and try to run it, this monit pops up:Movement through port 7788 is open on the server, and FLEXlm service for PTC is up and running,Didn't have any errors through the implementation process, restarting FLEXlm doesn't help.Error no. shown: 96, 491. 

I am teaching a class and need the 30-day license. When trying to license Mathcad, I receive a screen message that says I have exceeded the maximum number of licenses for this product type.I must have had Mathcad long ago on a computer that no longer exists. Can I load and use it on this one?

I cannot acquire a license for the 30 day trial with full functionality. I go through the PTC Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 License Wizard and on the "Acquire License" tab, the progress bar loads while saying "Verifying Eligibility..." until it freezes and after 20-30 seconds I get an error saying "License service appears to be busy. Please try again."I really need to try out the full functionality to see if this software is suitable for my needs.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to activate the 30-day trail on Mathcad prime 8.0.0.0 and I receive an issue of " License service appears to be busy. Please try again." while trying to acquire a license.

Trial license shows to have full functionality, but attempting to utilize a feature there is an error message stating:"This is a premium feature. To use this and other premium features, please upgrade to a full license using the 'Upgrade' button."

Version 6.0.0.0 of the Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.dll assembly is resulting in an COMException being thrown, which is preventing the ApplicationCreator object from being constructed. I have had no issues with version 6.0.0.0 assembly before these last few days. I have replicated this condition using the same assembly for version 8.0.0.0, without any errors. What can be done here that does not include upgrading or downgrading the version of Mathcad?

I have my own versions of Prime 7 and Prime 8.  My company uses Prime 7.  Is there any way to take the Prime 8 files that I created and convert them to Prime 7?

Hello,I am Application Specialist at my company.I want to transfer its license to another server.Unfortunately the former license supervisor of our organization at PTC eSupport left the company a year ago.I have two cases, one of them is to ask how to assign the super-administrator or just regular admin role of the organization assigned to his account and its licenses to my account (if necessery, I will confirm somehow, that everything that I am saying is true, just tell me how) I can't access former supervisor's e-mail account.Second case is the cause of the whole situation. One of our servers, started having bugs beyond fixing, unfortunately, this is the one that has mathcad license installed on it. I want to transfer the license to another server but it is assigned to MAC address of the current server, so it won't be working.Can you please help me or give some information, who can I contact to get help that I need, because I can't find any PTCs support mailbox.Best regards

Hi, I am an Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc, i don't have the product code. I am trying to do some basic calculations. i was not able to create the custom unit for the thermal resistance, which is used for calculations in estimating the junction temperature in MOSFET.Theri is some unit conversion problems if I add 1 deg C to 5 deg C the result not 6 deg C instead 279.15 deg C. I am working through the math equation entry tutorial and the operation of Ctrl+Shift+I to enter a definite integral into my equation returns a popup about a problem in AMD Adrenalin software related to screen capture to change a setting but I went into the AMD software and can't figure out how to fix the problem.

Hi, Mathcad v3.1, v4.0, v6.0, v8.0, v15.0 run with OpenJDKAre these versions able to run with OpenJDK instead of Oracle Java?   I am hoping that one is able to install the OpenJDK and then install the MathCad.  Please let me know if this has been tested and works.I am not able to find any information on this site.Thank you.

It wont install. The installation package will download, I give permissions to make changes to my computer, the extraction happens, a spiral comes up on my cursor, then nothing happens. I have windows 11, other windows 11 users I know are having the issue but those on Windows 10 are not having problems. Has anybody else experience this or have a solution?

I need to install full version PTC mathcad. The mathcad license was transferred on 12-07-2022
