Hi, I am trying to generate an output as a random number using Postman and I want to PUT this output value onto thing as a thing property value butAs in the official Mars Rover example used in the academic course, to change the 'WindSpeed' property using postman, the following syntax was used:{"WindSpeed" : "88"}But now I want to pass on the value of the "WindSpeed" in an automated manner (something like using the random value function) so that I don't have to manually change it every time,Unfortunately, I am not able to do so as I have trying ways available online including setting global variables etc. etc. but it is always giving an error of 'BAD STRING' or that the JSON content does not have 'ValidProperties' etc. I think that maybe my syntax is wrong. Could someone please guide me as to how we can generate random values in postman(syntax etc.) and PUT it onto the thing so that it updates itself. Thanks!
We are currently running the old version 2 of CREO Academic and just recently we are receiving the error, License request failed for feature Could someone advise how we resolve the licensing request.
Salve, Quando vado a modificare le opzioni di sistema, come la directory di lavoro e il colore del sistema, le salvo ma ogni volta che riapro Creo le devo reimpostare, come si fa a far diventare il configpro che faccio io come quello predefinito?
Do you enter competitions like Gravity Racing, Human Powered Vehicles or Greeenpower? PTC Creo Framework extension is perfect for modelling the chassis. Here is how it works.Create a skeleton part with datum points. lines and curves where you want tubing and datum planes for section orientation .Add the part to an assembly. In the assembly, use the Framework tab to select a material section and size.Use the Framework tools to add tubing along curves and lines and between datum points. each pipe is added as a new part in the model tree.Use the Framework tools to specify joints between tubes.Create a drawing of the assembly and add a table for total length of each section used plus a table for the length of tubing for individual tubes.Open each part and use sheet metal tools to split and flatten the tube to print a paper template for cutting the joint profiles.A zip file is attached containing instructions and the files/Youtube link showing how to create a car chassis.Do you have a K
I am not able to open Creo Parametric 3.0. I have donwloaded on two computers and I have the same error message on both. I have attatched a file with the screen shot errors. One says license request failed for feature and the other says Creo Parametric was not closed properly and is unable to recover any unsaved data from the last session.
Keep getting promo stuff about Creo4. Will there be an academic version? Anyone tried the demo?
Both desktop and laptop failed within a month of each other so after a hard drive wipe, I reinstalled all my software. However, I installed PTC Creo 'before' I installed Outlook (so at the time of reinstallation, I didn't have access to the licence file but now I do). I thought I could add the licence file after installation but when I run PTC Creo 3.0, I get a pop-up titled "PTC Creo View Startup". I selection the edition (Creo View Standard) and for MCAD Licence Options I select "Load when required" for both interference analysis and animator. It asks for "Licence Information" (i.e. licence server) and Pre-configured Licence Servers... ...but it does allow me to drag/drop the licence file. Can anyone help? I reviewed the 3 pages of problems that others experienced, including going to C: > Program Files > PTC > Creo 3.0 > M040 > Options Modeler > bin > "reconfigure" but that doesn't work.
I downloaded Creo 3.0 on to my desktop. The first time i accidentally clicked skip licensing so obviously the program wouldnt work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times and it keeps giving me a licensing error. I downloaded the same program on to my older laptop (got the licensing right, using same account) and it works fine. Any suggestions? Thanks

Will Creo 3.0 work on Windows 10? I have read in one place that Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are required and then somewhere else that said Windows 10 is too. Thanks,Chris
Hello, We are ready to start our fall semester in two weeks and have CREO 4.0 loaded on our lab computers here at SDSU. I noticed that CREO 4.0 student edition doesn't seem to be available: https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/products/free-software Is CREO 4.0 student edition available at another link? Or will it be available within two weeks? I checked what is described here: https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Academic-Program-Questions/Learning-Connector-Issues/m-p/37224#M679 without success. Is there something else to check? I have to admint, that I am using XP with IE8. Thanks Jan

Hello, right now I'm working through Industrial Connectivity Quickstart and I'm at the headline "Bind Industrial Connectivity Tag to Foundation Property". Following the statement "Finalize New RemoteThing Thing with a predefined property which takes its value from the ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity Day1. Type IndConn_Tag1 in the Name field. In the Description field, enter an appropriate description, search for a Property fed from an Industrial Connectivity Tag". After several attempts, the error" Whitespace is not permitted in property / service / event names "repeatedly appears. However, there is no whitespace in the name? Can somebody help me with it? Many Thanks!
Hello, After installing Creo 4 on Windows 10 Pro and after Windows 10 update to version 1709, Creo 4 is very unstable and crashes everytime. Problem I noticed is the highlighting of entities. It takes to long and after a very short time the 3D work area starts refreshing line-by-line and Creo crashes. Does anyone know to fix this?
Receiving response like this " An "action" or "code" must be present in the URL"
I entered my information into the K-12 student license download and hit submit, but it just reloaded the page and removed all of my information. Should it have gone to a different page after hitting submit or does it just do that? Did I put incorrect types of information? If it stays at the same page, then I entered the same information multiple times and have submitted multiple identical requests. It also reloads when I don't put any information at all. (I am in a FIRST Robotics team)
When I finished the full installation of Creo 4.0 student version, and i was trying to use the software, it says my licence has expired. How can i fix this problem?
As far my understanding thingworx is an umbrella under which thingworx studio is used to create experiences and thingworx view is used to visualize these experiences as a part of augmented reality. But what is the use of thingworx core and why is it a requirement to install navigate? I understood navigate is used to make windchill end users to access windchill data/objects easily. But what is thingworx core doing here in between? How is it connected? I am missing link here, please help.
in Creo 3.0 M110 student edition i am not able to select features in a single mouse click . Computer Specs : Brand : Dell Model : Dell Precision Mobile workstation 7520 Graphics Card : Quadro M1200 Operating System : Windows 10 64 bit
I managed to install Creo 3 a month ago using this method: Creo Installation Guide for Students and it worked, but then I replaced the motherboard and then Creo no longer worked. So I tried to reinstall it (using the school setup), and it does the same thing, but no longer asks for my license in the installation stage. After it installs it says that I need a license.
