I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.3.0I was trying to measure the torque changes in spur gear for study purpose but was unable to calculate it using MDO.Is there anything that I am missing,I have applied Material as steel, all connections have applied with gears, a force motor to drive the pinion and another force motor with 0.000 coefficeint on the gear to measure the net load on it. the net load is coming out as 0. If any one have done this before then please let me know.

Hi Community,   We have trying to enable SSO on Thingworx using ADFS as IDP. I recently switched to CREO 10 and the start_model_dir and template_### in the config file don't seem to work.  When I start a new part, with the use default template option picked, a "New File Options" screen pops up and my templates are not there.  If I browse, it goes to the "start_model_dir".  Is it going to be like this all the time?  This opens up the possibility of choosing the wrong template.  It leaves with questions: 1) Why didn't the new part use the template that is assigned in my config file when the "default template" option is chosen? 2) Why aren't my templates shown in the "New File Options"?  Why do I have to browse?

When creating a button with only an icon/ image displayed on it I find that the icon can only be enlarged to so far before it exceeds some allowable area.With a blank label the icon, sized here to 100x100 pixels, becomes cropped. With a label the icon is properly sized.Is there a way to get image only buttons to have their icons properly sized without this cropping?

I have a 3D PDF that I received from the supplier. Is there any way that I can open it in Creo Parametric, similar to the Step file. Would it be possible to save that file in Creo Parametric?

I am facing an issue in PTC Windchill 12 when accessing the Windchill PDMLink application. The URL http://<Hostname>/Windchill/app returns an error,  "The requested resource [/Windchill/app] is not available."The problem is caused by not using a trailing "/" after Windchill/app in the URL. While the workaround is to use http://<hostname>/Windchill, which appends the trailing '/' automatically, I need a permanent solution. I am looking for a way to configure the server or modify settings so that http://<Hostname>/Windchill/app works correctly without manual adjustments.  

Hello,I'm trying to figure out how to properly connect and set up the information flow between Vuforia, thingworx, and Windchill.My company works with windchill PLM. Here, as you know, we store relevant information about products and projects.I intend to structure an AR experience in which the user could click on any component/part of the represented 3D entity (starting from an imported pvz, of course) and retrieve updated information from windchill database (ranging from documentation to useful files).do you have any advice or updated guide addressing this workflow?Many thanks

I'm curious whether it's always an issue with the disconnected participants.   Not any of the previous upgrades we've had done by VAR (10.2 -> 11.0 -> 11.1) even on the same servers have gone without manually reconnecting each user after upgrade. Upgrading 11.1 -> 12 and servers changing it seems even more like mission impossible. Tried both, either picking the AD adapter config in Upgrade Manager and editing not to point to source production system, or rebuilding AD from scratch.

hi @RolandRaytchev         Is there any possible way to integrate Windchill and Vuforia studio. My use case here is, I need to list out all the available 3D model available in Windchill into Vuforia Studio screen, based on user selection I need to show 3D model in 3D Model widget. This question has already been asked in forum but i still could not find a right answer and definetly need more insights into this topic. Please give your valuable feedback. I just need to show the model in vuforia and not any information of windchill.

Dear community, I turn to you once again hoping that with your generous assistance, we can resolve the following issue. I want to compare two groups of values, M and N, both of which may have variable ranges, denoted by i and j respectively. The resulting group R should have the same range as M and should take the corresponding values from N, in this case, the value of Nj that is less than or equal to Mi. I am using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0. and I have attempted to configure several programs to achieve this without complete success, but I believe I am unable to set it up with the correct syntax to achieve the desired result. I am attaching an image for clarity, in case it may help. Version: Windchill 12.1 Hello,I am creating an object with a problem report subtype using an expression robot within a Windchill workflow. There are some cascading rules defined in the created problem report based on the Role value. For example, when the Role value is set to Software Quality Engineer, attributes X, Y, Z, A, and BC should be hidden. However, even though I set the Role value to Software Quality Engineer while creating the object, the cascading rules do not apply during the object creation, and all attributes are visible on the info page after the object is created. The cascading rules only work on the Edit page, but even if the object is edited in this way, the info page is not updated. How can I resolve this issue? I am eagerly awaiting your suggestions. @HelesicPetr  Additionally, the default values for the attributes are not appearing in the object I created with the code below. If my KepServerEx V6 instance has two separate network connections to a pair of EN4TR com cards in a CLX rack,  This is to give me redundant com paths to the critical systems. Is there a way to configure them in a redundant\failover architecture within KepServerEx? I know this can be done with an external router but I was hoping there was a native solution.  

I would like to create a parameter that stores the previous part number or name of the part that the part was saved from.  For example if I have a part "Gear1.prt" and I save as to a new part "Gear2.prt" I want to store a parameter when doing a save-as that says "Gear1".  That way users that perform a save as automatically have a history of where this design was made from.  It can be useful when going through a parts history.   I don't want to make it a type in parameter because users would forget to add this information. Does anybody have any insights into how this could be done?

Our objective is to supply test criteria to the ECU and capture the results directly into the MES system VIA KEPServerEX 6.Given our constraints, we are considering using gateways that can convert CAN Bus protocols (CAN 2.0a/b and CAN/J1939) to more common protocols like TCP, UDP, or OPC UA. Hello everyone,I am trying to use Kepware Ex Datalogger with FloatArray type.I have selected all items from the device into datalog configuration in Narrow Table Format. When I trigger my DataLog, It only logs data for tags other than Array type tags and I get below error in Kepware. "Error Data Logger Plug-in Unable to query recordset on Log Group 'DataLog_abc_Profile'. Reason: String data, right truncation" I have not configured individual elements of Array type tags rather I have selected direct tags' name in datalog items. Is my configuration OK or I will need to configure individual element for data logging?
