I want to add an additional leader to my drawing on the outside radius dimension to call out the internal radius with it.   How can I add the additional leader?  

Is it possible to have 2 Creo sessions running in parallel with the 1st session connected to Windchill and the 2nd one working in local? Creo Parametric 7.0.2.0 As soon as I connect one session, the other session is connected. It's exactly the same behaviour when I disconnect one of them from Windchill. 

I want to assign only the first 7 characters of parameter (string) to another parameter. How can I do that via relations?.Creo 9

Hi, I have developed some mechanism in Creo4 by linking to the parameters and it was working fine.Now we have updated to Creo8 and when I try to update my expression it shows "entered value is invalid". Could you please support on this issue, thanks.

Fellow PSI users: I had got the Windchill upgrade done, had moved on to the Solr upgrade.Got to the screen where the last text input box was for the Solr password, and entered it using a 'paste' operation. Saw the right number of asterisks so I clicked 'next'.Got an error pop-up saying something like 'password cannot be blank' but ignored it because the asterisks seemed to indicate that it was not blank. Completed the installation and restarted everything. Set the password in Windchill using xconfmanager as directed.Tried a search and got the yellow banner saying that search was not working, and the MethodServer log showed an auth problem.   What happened? Maybe a race condition? Maybe the PSI UI accepted the 'next' click before it had processed the password text input? Next time, I will pause a few seconds before clicking 'next'.   Now my question: How can I change the Solr password without stepping through the PSI screens? Where is it stored in the files under SolrServer so

We currently have some older .mcd MathCAD files.Our trial version will not open them.Is there a tool or product you have that could convert or update these to something we can use in the new software version? We are trying to find a way to gain access to these old files.Thanks,Jon

Within Windchill, I've been trying to sort a column full of dates to show the most recent ones to the oldest ones. For unknown reasons, the dates are not sorting correctly. It seems whenever I sort the column, the dates just get randomly mixed up. (See attached for example)

Is there a way to use Material Side: (side one, side two, both sides) to drive a parameter through pro-program or relations? 

I have an assembly with a note I would like to have displayed in a combination state. When in the model I have to click on the note in the model tree in order for them to appear. If I click on the "show annotations" button the notes appear but so does every note down the piece parts which is way too many and cluttered on the screen. Once I switch combination states and go back (despite hitting the update button) the notes are gone again. How can i get only the notes/annotations in the top level assembly to show? The show annotations dialog box has nothing in it to select or filter.   

Hi everyone, I am using Creo 9.0, and when trying to open one of the variations of my project created through nested families, the parameter I want to change gets changed but there is no way to regen the model. Hello Dear Community experts,        My question is that i have 6 pdfs in ThingWorx repository each contains 1 page  which i send from Vuforia Studio to ThingWorx and when these 6 pages are generated and sent one by one, then afterwards in the end i need to fetch these 6 pages and merge them and send it to ThingWorx so that 1 pdf will be generated. I am sending file as a blob to save the pdf pages on ThingWorx and now my question is how can i get these pages in front end (Vuforia Studio) again. I know the service getFileListingsWithLinks but there is only downloadlink acutally and i cant see blob in any service.   PROCESS: I was doing before that i was generating single pdf after generating each page on client side and send to thingworx but my vuforia app crashes sometimes because its so heavy process even in PC it takes around 35 seconds to generate the pdf and in ipad its around 26seconds but In PC the process never breaks even though it takes long

Consider a hypothetical example of a steel manufacturing company. The company has 50 motors and 50 sensors. So lets say my thing model has 100 things with 10 different properties. Each thing will denote a physical object. Now is there any rule or formula on how many value streams I need to create to log the data. I can create one value stream for each asset or 1 VS for 2 or more assets etc. I want to know how can I make a stable solution architecture over here. Will it be good if I own one or more database. One for the thingworx and other for storing value stream data. I want to ask below question.1. Is there any rule or formula on knowing how much value streams we need to create.2. Can we store data in separate database or in separate tables.3. How will storing and querying the database for showing values in mashup will have an impact on the performance

I need help evaluating a function of a range of variables using a solver block. On page 1 and page 2 of the attached mathcad sheet, I evaluate a function F(z). This (cumulative distribution) function is called Fz and is a convolution integral of 2 Rayleigh distributions. The variables X and Y are responses, where its RMS value within each Rayleigh distribution is known for and input to the sheet. Then, random variable z , is solved with a solver block. This all works.On page 3 I want to repeat this process for a range of RMS values of X and Y. If X is an array of values with length 3 (on the rows) and  Y is an array of values with length 4 (on the columns), the total number of output values is 12 in the matrix.  I am working in mathcad prime 10.
