Hello , I am looking for the location where i can locate the license trust of thingworx .I am able to delete the folder ptc_p but as i can remember there were other files that need to be removed. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

I can't export my results to excel file when the results contains more than one matrics .I am generating excel files for some results using the function(WRITEXCEL). When the matrics is vector which means has only one colunm it easily export it to excel file. However, when the results has more than one colunm like shown below it doesn't work. this error is on page 33. how can I solve that?      It shows error  

When I go to open something by windchill EPM Document Details opens with another browser not by Microsoft Edge how to solve this , it is opening by chrome , was already windows I put to leave default Microsoft Edge but even opens by chrome

I am working on adding a custom widget to Windchill PTC. The widget's functionality is to export user stories to another application with the click of a button.We have already implemented this functionality in IBM DOORS. I am attaching a reference video and am attempting to replicate the same functionality in WindChill PTC.

To manufacture our products, we need access to our work instructions stored in Windchill PLM.But in the event of a computer problem, when Windchill is no longer accessible, we're stuck.Is it possible to program a daily export few specific files from Windchill to a local folder on a file server? thanks in advance

Not a huge deal but after using the device discovery it would be nice to select 50 or 60 of the few hundred devices and have KEPServerEX do the tag generation on each vs going into the properties of each and then using the create tags option over and over.

Hi guys,   I'm having issues with embedded Excel files.  After opening a Mathcad Prime 10 file with an embedded Excel file (from which I'm reading in data for calculation) MC suggests that I might be editing the Excel file and thus the calculation can't continue; see screen shot. Has anybody experienced the same issue and (hopefully!) a solution to the problem? Some more information: Win 11, 64 Bit machine. MathCad Prime 10 Checked Task Manager for background Excel files running - none. I've deleted the Excel file and "re-embedded" a new one - same issue. New Mathcad file with new embedded Excel file - same result.

Hello All,    This is my datagrid widget on the mashup and i do sorting by clicking this arrow on the Date of the Report parameter because i want it to show from latest till end but bydefault is shows me oldest till new. is there any way that i can set it from latest to old so that whenever i come to mashup it show me like that.thanks!   

Thingworx Version: 9.5.2I'm going to try to be as precise as possible here, so bear with me. In a Mashup that is exclusively used as a popup window showing our page's software history & changelog on two separate tabs respectively, we've encountered an issue where the data of the changelog isn't loading unless you specifically open the Mashup on the tab the text is supposed to be loaded in - meaning if you load the Mashup on the first tab, then switch to the tab with the changelog, it isn't visible. The data is still there (you can see Mashups created within the collection in the debug view), but it just doesn't show - resizing the browser window also makes it show, but that's unfeasible for practical use. The Changelog itself is made of two parts, a list and a container with that shows the changelog itself, which is just a collection with mashups that only contain formatted labels. (I've found no better way to do changelogs since we still have no replacement for the HTML

Hi folks, I am not able to to execute a simple select query where the service type is "Query". Even with Insert query as command it is not working out as well. The database is PostgresSQL and the DB thing is connected as well. But on execute of the select query it is giving,  error as: "Unable to Invoke Service test on PostgresDB_Thing : Execute Query failed. Please check Database logs for more details." It seems there is some permission required on the database, I have checked the owner group in postgres SQL table, where "txadmin" user is selected. Still not able to figure out where am I going wrong to provide permission. Please provide some suggestions here. I have attached the database log error below:

At my uni, MathCAD was recommended to our class by a professor and I saw online that there are 2 programs available, one is MathCad Prime and other is MathCad. Which one should I choose if I want to use it for math, physics and mechanics? Some collegues used in the past MathCad 15 and told me this one is good, others says that MathCad Prime 4,5 or 7 is good. Is one from these 2 better than the other? Are there updated versions for the ones mentioned above?

Hello,I want to export data into csv file as similar to data export widget, but it should take more than 1 infotable input and should give output as the csv filewith more than 1 sheets containing the data from those infotables.I there any similar custom widget available to such requirement. Version: Windchill 11.0 Use Case: Windchill in our customer; methode server cann't start with error: "ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied".Description: We are using Windchill PDMLink Version 11.0 M030/Oracle 11Since last week, CAD Creo users cannot/slowresponse access to the server. First I was check via status server >> average response time (red).Then, I restarted Windchill services (WC shell ; Stop >> Start).But in this point, windchill methode server cann't start back to stopped status in services.msc windows. Users can not acces anymore (Service unavailable).We checked  log,result at screenshot below :Next ,we checked the DB server ( we use separate server for DB Oracle).Storage almost full,then we extended storage tablespace.Then we try again to start the Windchill,but unfortunelly it stills no started.Do you know what happen? Can you please tell me if there's any solution to the problem? I'm YJ from South Korea. I'm a user of MC prime 10. Recently I'm solving 2D Reynolds equation in polar coordinate with FDM. I've obtained a p(r,theta) in 11 x 11 matrix. Now I'd like to plot it in 3D cylidrical coordinate. I wonder how to do it. I need tutorials or examples to get familiar with ploting in polar coordinate or cylindraical coordinate. Help help me out of here! I always appreciate your help.

Hello all,     I have changed my thingworx version and import the project from Thingworx 9.1 to 9.3 but my widget datepicker here not giving me time. It only sends the date to qualitytimestamp datatype input service parameter. I have no idea why the same thing was giving me datetime on old version of thingworx and not anymore here. can anyone please let me know about it. Hello My thingworx installer is failing at the last step while waiting to connect thingworx and whenever it fails the folder structure is rolled back. I am trying to locate the errors but as soon as installer stop it delete all the folders .Is there any specific location i can look for installer logs? Thanks

I found the drawing setting for the default font size for new views however, I can't find any options to change the font style for only view names. Our views are like shown below where the view name is larger and bold and was hoping to find a setting to have this be automatic.  Section A-A We're using CREO 7 currently

Some of our harnesses in the real world are coming out longer than the dimensioned drawing shows when bundled.I measured in Creo.  If I measure the lengths of the individual segments, I get 350mm.  If i measure the overal wire, I get 379.  That's over an inch of difference.Any help would be appreciated on how to alleviate this.Creo 9.0.3

Version: Windchill 12.0   Use Case: Wcadmin account removed from all license groups except License Exclusion per CS329469. Description: After removing the wcadmin account from all groups except License Exclusion, I cannot open files in Creo. System says user is not authorized. I had to add wcadmin back to the PTC Windchill Advanced and PTC Creo Data Management and Visualization licenses to work in Creo. When I did, it used one of each of those licenses. What does the License Exclusion really do for an account like wcadmin?  

In our project, we have planned to add lots of devices and also plan to add all the associated tags which would mean adding the tags 1 by 1. I was going through the automatic tag generation option but even after I click on 'Create tags' in 'Tag Generation' option, nothing happens. How do I enable this?

I tried to create pdf file using trail file. but pdf generation step will not record in trail file.I am also tried to add pdf generation Map key in trail file. can anyone please help me. how to create trail file that can create pdf file.
