Hello all, I have designed a web mashup for a project, which has lots of widgets like lists, buttons, labels, and collections. When I view it on mobile devices, it does not load properly, if I switch to desktop view then it shows the whole mashup, but I want to stay in mobile view so I want to know if there is any way to load that mashup on mobile devices through minor changes or if I should create a new one for mobile devices and if I need to create a new one then how can I decide that user loads it on mobile or web? 

The shape below is being modeled using the Sheetmetal function. ( Based on modeling with creo 3.0 )The shape of the part where the gas is introduced in the middle protrudes in both directions based on the central axis. This figure was modeled by me, and was modeled using the Extrude and Bend functions.However, in this way, it is easy to model in one direction based on the center axis, but it is not possible to do both directions.If I dare to model like the picture above, I can do Sketch -> Extrude -> Bend in the opposite direction, but it is too cumbersome. Is there any easy way to do it??

Hi Community,Recently my MS Sql server was poping message that it's login password expired and I need to update it. When I updated my password, Thingworx is not starting and giving following error :Error : [L: ERROR] [O: c.t.s.ThingWorxBootstrapper] [I: ] [U: SuperUser] [S: ] [P: ] [T: main] *** CRITICAL ERROR ON STARTUP: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!Can anyone suggest how I can troubleshoot this error and avoid such errors in future. Hello. I am using Creo Parametric 8.0.0.0. So... the title is descriptive enough. But let me give you some extra detail. So I have metric system on my file. The measure tool uses imperial system. It will show the correct value, (for example if I set something to be 10cm it will show 3.937inch) but the file is not on inch. I went to:File>Prepare>Model PropertiesModel is indeed in metric system. Yesterday everything was fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Greetings and salutions,    I have a mechanism which you can see in attachment. And when I do a dynamics analysis with movement. It will show me that force required to move and object which weight around 1500kg requires a force of 2 bilions Newtons.  I am quite lost where is a problem exactly. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.      

I'm making a sheet metal model, and I'm starting with one flat planar wall feature. Next, I want to "offset" this wall to create a new, unconnected flat planar wall, and make it a separate body. However, I cannot figure out how to tell Creo that this unconnected wall is meant to be a separate body. Is this possible in Creo 8?   

We're having a problem where some graphics are not showing up in our PDFs. Most graphics appear without a problem, but some more complicated graphics appear as just a blank space with the Figure's name below.  We use CorelDraw to create the CGMs. Add them into the DMs in Arbortext, and PDF in Windchill.Anyone else ever have this problem?When we try working on it in IsoDraw to export as a CGM we get a polygon warning. See attached.

All, I'm trying to clarify the terms of the Export Agreement.My company recently purchased several licenses for Kepware to be used on a project in Spain.Given that it is being developed in the United States we purchased our licenses here.The agreement states that...You will not re-export or divert any PTC software or technical data relating thereto to any third party or region and you agree to not distribute, any software, technical data or any products derived from software or technical data provided hereunder in contravention of U.S. law or regulation.Are there any issues with the route we have chosen of purchasing here in the US to be shipped to Spain?

Hello, I have a peculiar request, as the customer is reliant on Visualization primarily for taking PDF of drawings and again usually for release activities or change processes.  I want to be able to get a new representation only on State change, which is done by enabling publish.republishonepmdocumentchange=true. The other half of the issue is to disable new representation creation on check in or on iteration. So far I found publish.service.ignoredefaultepmevents property which I believe also prevents Ready to publish events from publishing, hence it does not allow even a state change to publish. I'm also interested in the property publish.copyrepresentationsforward.restrict and what does it mean by copying a representation forward and if this can be used in this solution. Thank you.    

If the user stopped using the thingworx pages and forget to logout means, in 5 mins the organisation page should get logged out automatically. How to do this??    (I have observed one problem that after login if the user is not using the thingworx pages for long time & refreshing the thingworx page after that means, the current mashup is not getting the inputs from previous pages(session variables loosing its datas). So at what particular time if we refreshing the page the session variables wont have data!! At that time we can trigger for automatic logout right?

I'm trying to automate the process of setting up an assembly which has a configurable pattern of components of which a number of members need to be excluded. A customer can choose any number of rows and columns for the green rectangles A.The bigger rectangle B can change position and size (or not be there at all) and is the region which should not be filled with rectangles A.  Manually this can easily be achieved by making a Direction Pattern and clicking each dot that falls in region B. However I want to automate this and create the pattern based on input parameters.  Fixed values: size of A, spacing in X and Y direction between rectangles A.Input parameters: number of instances in X and Y direction of A, position and size of rectangle B Explored options: - Fill Pattern: would be the perfect solution except for the fact that the spacing in X and Y directions is always equal. I have been looking into different ways to swap components in an Assembly based on set parameters and have been unable to find any explanation on how swapping with notebooks work. I have already managed to do this with interchange assemblies and family tables, but I wanted to also see how notebooks worked so I could better understand all my options. Does anyone have an explanation or walkthrough on the layouts of notebooks and how this can be done? A link to a simple video, article, or even just an example would be fine. As of now, I have yet to find even one reference on how this would work so I am unsure of where to start. 

HiI want to calculate the deflection along a column (or a stand-up beam) subjected to a lateral point load. The column is fixed at both ends, A and B, and the load P is acting at a distance a from the top. I know that I can easily calculate the deflection at the point of action (P), however I don't know how to determine the deflection at an arbitrary position away from P, lets say L/2. If somebody can bring some knowledge to this, I'll be very thankful 🙂   

Hello all, We have overwritten the OOTB validator com.ptc.windchill.enterprise.team.validators.TeamCCActionColumnValidator to hides the "Actions" column completely - until now it's ok.But if the ?jcaDebug=true is added to the URL, the column and the buttons inside it are visible.My main problem is that action on those button can be executed.jcaDebug option overwrites the rules set by the validators? Regards.     

Dear Community, There are dozens of devices in the lab, the device can only use sockets to connect, each device is a socket server, how to use Thingworx to connect to sockets and send or receive messages? Can Kepware connect to socket servers or need use SDK to connect? Thanks!
