Hello Simplified Representations aren't all that simplified. If you have an assembly with a lot of patterned parts, you have to arduously include and exclude them manually, one by one. And then when you make a drawing using those Simpreps, the BOM table changes. Styles are an order of magnitude simpler to handle, and less confusing. Plus you can set if they should be shaded, transparent, wireframe or whatever. I would very much prefer to assign a Style to a drawing view.

Hello,   We are working on esatblishing CI/CD environment. So far we what we achieved is testing part with Jenkins then comes the tricky part for us which is deployment. Unfortunately I can not figure it out this part and community articles helps in case of Docker usage but we are not using docker.  So to summarize, is there are guide tutorial or example as to how to achieve this on Jenkins pipline script.   Any help or comment is highly appreciated

Please could someone help me understand the units it generates the results in and there magnitude. Are the results related to the principal system units? If so how? Hi and thanks for reading! The "search in structure" is too slow: 8-9 minutes in a structure of 2k parts is not acceptable. It was way faster before we migrated from Windchill 11 to 12.I already enabled "excludedAttributesForClassicFindInTree" for all attributes, except roughly 10 attributes. Did the "xconfmanager -p" and restarted the Windchill-Server. No effect.The "normal" global search and the advanced search are totally fine and only take some seconds.We're using an Oracle DB and Windchill 12.0.2.5. 1. What can I do/try/read to improve the situation?2. Is there more information material than the documentation below? Where? Currently we have over 250 product areas. Goal is to have the ACLS to match from area to area. Its been a bit of a maintenance issue.  I wanted to share with you my solution and see if you have something better. Excel is my hammer so its first in my bad of tricks. Combined with a direct connection to a Query Builder report, I can setup data retrievals and canned analysis in an Excel workbook to make easier alignment of ACLs or spot the differences. Over the years, they have tended to meander.  Here is the approach, I start with a report that pulls down ACLS data from all Product areas: I can create a connection that pulls down the data on refresh.  Through some use of keys and manipulation of the ACL data in columns to the right, I can get this summary. I copied all unique lines to another sheet, counted occurrences and marked if that ACL combination was good, bad or I was unsure. They, I can vlookup that ACL status back to the main sheet. Hi all, I would like to know if exist a parameter to set up for not create a fastener file everytime I add a fastner into a assembly.If I insert a new fastner using IFX, I will have  a prt file inside the folder of my project. Is it possible to save all the fastnere that I will use in every assembly in a single folder so is not necessary to re-crate a new file everytime I will insert that fastner in another assembly? Thanks      

HiI'm trying to analyse a beam under semi-ellipse load. In the analyses I try to form shear load, bending moment, slope and deflection functions with integrationof load function.If I use symbolic solution method the resulting functions become too complex.Could someone help me by making an example of determination of the shear load function?I hope that with one example, I would be able to solve the rest...Thanks in advance.
