Hi All, I would like to know, how to use "valid range" constraint for String attribute.I've defined: From aa To bb.As a result, I'm able to create business object that has 'ac' as a value of attribute, but 'ca' isn't acceptable. Could somebody explain it in simple words?Many thanks in advance.

Hey guys!   I'm new here and have a question maybe some of you found out a solution for my problem already. I don't know since when exactly, I don't know why at all, my measurement tool "distance in direction" doesn't snap workpiece edges anymore. Only planes now to use the planes normals for direction.  Hello,Today I tried to build and start docker containers with Dockerfiles provided on PTC Support download page.I've discovered that there is new container named 'security-cli' using by default 'thingworx/security-tool:latest' (screenshot of example docker-compose file below) image, but I cannot find any information about it, and I'm unable to run Thingworx containers becouse I didn't have this 'security-tool' image which now contains TWX_DATABASE_PASSWORD env. variable.   I would be grateful for any hints on running this version of Thingworx as docker container. 

Hi, I am making a REST API call to get Thing property data from Thingworx server using postman.I am able to see the reponse code is 200. But I am not able to see any data in the response.As seen below, I am trying to get the value of name property from SystemRepository. I am getting successful response, but no data is returned.   In this scenario Thingworx server is a secured server hosted behind a proxy server nginx. Can anyone point me to the issue what may be happening. Thanks and Regards,Bhushan

Hi team, I have a big solve block with 13 equations and 13 unknowns. I could not add the worksheets for IP reasons, but the question is quite generic. Please bear with me. Here is the scenario:I have a solve block that solves 13 equations and gives out the solution, say P(x,y,z). in case, I know the final result for P(x,y,z) say 200. How can I find what are the combinations of x,y,z that would lead to that. Do I use another solve block with minimum and maximum function? I tried, but lead into convergence error. tried changing guesses as well as TOL, CTOL values. Did not work.  Thanks in advance.

Hi All, Relatively new to MathCAD, so apologies if there is an easy fix here. I've prepared a calculation file that take some various data and creates a piecewise function using if statements. The clip below shows a graph of the piecewise function, and the equation I am trying to solve.  M(9.575 ft) = 0.967 lbf is confirmation that the function M(d) is working properly.  I am looking to try to solve for a value of d that will provide M(d)=0.  I am getting a "Pattern Match Error" with the equation I used above. I'm wondering if it would be helpful to solve this equation within a range, but I've hit a dead end on figuring out how to approach that. Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks    

Hello, Are the claims in the following statement correct? Specifically, is the statement underlined and in bold correct? Creo manages the bend radius of the CAD model by applying the minimum bend radius from the spool onto the cable geometry. Networks are simply helper aids for routing. They do not control bend radii. When Creo places cables, it tries to follow the Network first. But in some scenarios, where the network is tighter than the spool's minimum bend radius, it will allow the cable to depart from the Network. Essentially, what you're seeing is Creo applying the minimum bend radius of the spool onto the 3D cable geometry. Therefore, you don't really "measure" the minimum bend radius so much as enforce the minimum bend radius.  Any measurement that would be taken would equal the value of the minimum bend radius of the spool. Thank you!Devin

Hi, I am trying to fetch data from postgresql property_vtq table for external application.But the data is coming in binary format for value column as seen below. Further checking the data type of value column, it is showing as bytea.How can we get this format converted to represent some sensible data as string, integer or datetime according to the property basetype configured.  Thanks and Regards,Bhushan

I purchased Mathcad Prime 8 Student Edition, but I can not activate the product, in this moment I have a trial edition with 26 days left. I only have my order number.

I am trying to install TWX9.3 with the installer and I am using the Linux version with PostgreSQL (MED-61111-CD-093_SP2_ThingWorx-Foundation-Installer-postgresql-linux-9-3-2). The OS that I am using is CentOs8 64bits.  I have the right version of java (11) which is installed and setup in the path and I have also setup the PostgreSQL path. When i run the installer, it gets all the way to 96% and there it freezes at the step: "ThingWorx Foundation for PostgreSQL Installation in Progress" and I get a generic message: "There has been an error. foundation Installation Failed The application will exit now. When running the installer I have used the default location: /opt/ThingWorxFoundation. I am not able to see any logs (not even before i close the message error box). Also, i have found several topics open for issue with the installer and on one article (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS329897) i have even found the message: "Since ThingWorx Foundation 9.3.1 Inst

Hi everyone,   I have created a product configurator with Options & Variants and would like to set default folder for different items generated by it.   The configurator generates a Variant Specification, a Variant Part Structure and a few new Module Variant Parts for some CTO parts with modified parameters.   I believe I can direct the Variant Specification to a specific folder with OIR but Variant Part Structure and Module Variant Parts are proving to be a bit more difficult.   Windchill Help has instructions for setting the default folder for Module Variant Parts: https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.0.0.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center%2FExpVariantProperties.html%23   You can specify the context and location where to store variant parts by defining variant propertiesin the Part Structure Browser.To define the variant properties:1.
