I'm making a call to ParseAndProcessResult and getting a NullPointerException. It seems to be a problem with the variable response in the following code. Does anyone have an example of what response should be? Creo 5.0 parametric opens to the message below: License request failed for feature  Requesting CREOPMA_SchoolsSTD6 ...C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\BE700908EDSTUDENTK12_license.dat:(-21) License file does not support this version. Run prcstatus.bat for server status I used the code given on the instructions.  Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello,During CAM tests on Creo NC version 9.0, I noticed that when creating a face milling operation, there is no Check Surfaces option to add elements and avoid collisions. This function is available in some operations (Drilling, Tapping, Roud, Chamfer, ...) but not in the major functions such as face milling.Currently the generated toolpaths can cause collisions. Is it possible to generate a collision check for surfacing operations? It would be interesting to create toolpaths that take into account the environment (clamping, part, stock, machine). Thank you and best regards.

Does anyone know how to reference original and vardim dimensions in a relation?   Specifically I want to write a relation that has the inherited dimension that is in the vardim table to have the opposite sign (negative) as the original dimension. By clicking on the feature or using the find command, I can get the vardim dimension but I can't seem to reference the original dimension.   Also as a side note does anyone know how to see a list of the dimensions that have been added to the vardim table and or how to delete them from the vardim table?  

Hello Community,By using PTC guide, I am creating Quadcopter project and I am replicating this. For this project, I am using PTC given code but not able to understand. In this, If I entered 1234 input in search bar and click on find button quadcopter model item lights are blowing. And If I entered 89 random input that time model item lights not blowing. Is there a way to save a creo view file as a PDF? I have to send it via email to someone who does not have Creo.

We are facing an issue where we have a certain number of devices and Users connected to the ThingWorx server. After few hours or 1 day, we start increasing the users until we see some slowness in the Mashup or Composer.At this point, we start reducing the connected users from the system. Here the expectation was that with reduced user count the PostgreSQL connection count would also reduce, freeing additional system resources.However, the actual scenario is another way. PostgreSQL connection count does not decrease and after some duration again starts increasing towards maximum limit. Has anyone faced similar issue?Any inputs would be very helpful.

Hi,  Since the Project entity doesn't play the role of namespace,    I don't see any difference for Project comparing with ModelTag.   It seems that the Project entity is just a mandatory ModelTag.     Is there anything I missed in my understanding for the meaning of Project entity ?    Regards, Sean

Hello dear members, what are the ways in which I can hide and unhide the axis created by Extrusion? (The Axis display command controls the visibility of all axis together, I would like to control visibility for particular extrude feature). I tried to select the axis and did Hide, how can I unhide it again? Thanks.

Hello, I am having an issue where when I create an axis, it does not appear to be in the correct position and is in fact in a wild poisition. For example, I create a new sketch, select two of the coordinate planes (Front and Right for example) and then click "Axis". You would expect this axis to show up as a line intersecting the intersection points of the two planes. However, what shows up has no visible relation to the two selected planes. See "creo pic 4". Another example is when I use "revolve". I create a sketch with an axis and a shape (square in the picture) and the revolve works perfectly, but the axis of revolution is totally wrong and shifts as I pan/zoom around creo. See picture 1 and 2.The last example is when using construction lines in a sketch. The construction shapes appear in totally different places from where I place them. See picture 3. I'm finding the new 'Release Matrix' frustrating.   1.  It's not obvious how to get to the 'Release Matrix'.  While there is a menu item for 'Release Advisor', there is nothing for the 'Release Matrix'.  It is possible to end up at the release matrix from the product calendar, but I'm not sure this is the intended path or even the best path.  How would someone know to go to the calendar first in order to end up at the release matrix?   2.  It's not obvious that the 'Release Matrix' is different from the 'Release Advisor' since the 'Release Matrix' page includes the words 'Release Advisor' in the URL.  Naturally one wants to start from the release advisor instead, and this is reinforced by the ability to jump from the release advisor directly to a release matrix, but release advisor doesn't play nice if you're not trying to change versions.   3.  The release matrix for Windchill 12.1.0.2 does not include any mention of Creo Parametric

Hi,I'm using Windchill ProjectLInk 9.1, trying out the Structured Authoring test cases.When trying to load a graphic file into the workspace "Tech_Pub", after selecting the file andclicking finish, the UI goes to a page with a "Processing..." gif animation and never returns.I checked the MethodServer log file (MethodServerLog4j-7344.log), and it has an exception:2011-06-14 10:16:56,090 ERROR [RMI TCP Connection(26)-10.0.0.82] wt.fv.uploadtocache - (wt.fv.uploadtocache.uploadtocacheResource/10) wt.util.WTException: There is no Cache designated vault or active folder for Cache designated vault on Local Master Site.Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?Thanks,Richard Steadman
