We have custom BOM report page which by default shows only the first level of components. However, on the page the user is given the option to expand the BOM to any available depth. To display the available number of levels, the program needs to find the total number of levels. This is quite heavy on a big assembly, and many times unnecessary when a user wants to see the first level only. I wonder if there are better ways to get the total depth of a given assembly without walking the whole product structure tree.

i dont know about this error. It showed every time i installed the creo in different versions, like 3.0, 4.0, 8.0. what should i do ?. i have attached the screenshot of that error. please do something good. 

hey All, is there anyway to add "new" local parameters and "new" relations to existing dwg bom repeat region with a mapkey? trying to create mapkey do accomplish this but it does not worktried loading a "new configuration" xml file with no luck either thanks,Rich

Hi, We would like to make a report to get WTParts that are not associated with any WTDocument (WTParts without WTDocumets). We want to do something similar to a Left Join or Inner Join but with Query Builder. Is there any possibility to do this kind of Joins in Query Builder or Are there any examples of Sub selects that try to replicate this? Thank you!

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0 8.0.1.0How to perform feature operations such as delete, resume, suppress and replace. I have been using pfcSolid.ExecuteFeatureOps() API which causes error pfcXToolkitBadContext. I searched through PTC documents and most of them are referring to enable deprecated config options CS181059. I want to set configuration option regen_failure_handling to resolve_mode however it requires special key as per CS260154.Please provide the special key mentioned in the CS260154 or an alternative function to perform these feature operations in WebLinkHere are the errors that I facedWhile using regen_failure_handling config option, user is presented with the warning message To use a deprecated config option, you will need to supply an authorization code with allow_deprecated_config. Please see article CS260154 for more information.

As of 3/19/2022, with the most up-to-date Windows update. Creo, starting from 6.0 to 8.0.3 will now function on Windows 11.

I just downloaded Mathcad Prime 7 to see how it would work in converting my Mathcad 15 files. The converter fails and aborts each time, although Prime 7 can still open the Mathcad 15 files (format is not good though). Any suggestions on why this is happening? Many thanks 

Hi All, I just installed ThingWorx Analytics Server 9.3.1 together with Analytics Extension on ThingWorx Foundation 9.3.1. It is shown that the analytics server and extension have been successfully installed. But the the analytics extension icon never appears on the panel. Hi there, I hope you are doing good. I need help to scroll down because I have multiple checkboxes and I cant scroll down to see all buttons. I put them in many widgets and in some situations the scroll bar doesn't appear. I put them in a Tab and the scroll bar appears but it doesn't scroll down, just a little. Any way to fix this? Thankyou.

I have a MathCad15 file and need to use it in MathCAD 8 Prime:  xmcd to mcdx.   The Converter on the IN/OUT tab is greyed out.  Is there something I need to install separately?  My files are too big to attach. Thanks for any help.

Am I missing something or does dm_overwrite_contents_on_update actually do nothing for me?  The description states: 'Yes: Windchill Workspace Update will overwrite locally/modified out of date objects with the ones in the server. No (Default): Windchill Workspace Update will update metadata only.', however I still get anything modified locally only updating the meta data unless I change it to overwrite.  We are seeing a lot of overwritten data recently. Creo 7.0.3.0 / WC 12.0.2.1

As the subject says. I am unable to open a new case because the (required) "Issue Type" menu has no items to choose from. This occurs both with FireFox 91.7.1esr and Chrome 100.0.4896.60. I have cleared browsing history including cookies. Edit: Adding this is for  product: "Windchill PDMLink"

I've been able to work around this issue using unions in QML but still wish there was a better way. When we went to 11.1 from 10.2, the way change objects were linked was fundamentally changed. All my query builder reports broke cause the joins were all different. As a result, I had to create a version of a report that grabbed data before upgrade and one that grabbed data after the upgrade. Tables were never merged but looks like they coded around it. Has this been addressed in 12 to merge the tables to give a complete history?  

Hi.In its simplest form, what I am trying to acheive is to have a datum plane in an assembly drive the position of a datum in parts.Lets say I create a datum 200mm from the default top datum plane in the assembly and call this ASM length.If I then create a part and constrain this part in the default position in assembly. I create a datum plane in the part called PRT length. I want to the position of PRT length to be equal to the ASM length ( 200mm).So when I create a family table of the assembly, each instance will have a different value for ASM length.I  intend to have multiple parts in the assembly all having the Part length datum controlled by ASM length. In its more complex form each part will have feature positions driven by the assembly datums. Which is the best approach to acheiving this outcome?. Thanks for your help in advance. 

I have some users who are attempting to modify many parts in a Change Notice, and have found that the upper limit of WTParts in the Notice is set to 40.Is this a limitation of Windchill, or was it something that was set when the Change Notice was set? If the latter, where would you go in the system to change it?

Hello!  My team and I would like to clone/duplicate an entire project (including its dependencies) and simply change the entities' names. For example, the original project would be ProjectEx1 and we want another version called ProjectEx2.  We know that we can use Clone snippet on Services but it only allows us to clone Things, Users, Notifications, and Thing Templates, which is not enough for a whole project. We would also need Data Shapes, State Definitions, Media, etc.  Is there any way to do this cloning process autonomous by a service or do I have to Duplicate each entity one by one?   Thank you in advance. Juliana

Hello All, I'm trying to develop a custom widget. After my code changes, I use to import the extension file into TWX Composer and test it.This process takes time for each minor change.Is there any other option to run in Eclipse IDE level and test it? -MK
