Hello,   I have a very complex differential equation that can only be solved numerically. Here I use a simple differential equation as a proxy for the sake of clarity. This differential equation contains the parameter a. I would like to determine this parameter a by fitting it with the method of least squares with my data X and Y. I need the numerical solution of the differential equation. From the numerical solution of the differential equation I only need the last value for each row of my data X. This is done by the function xsolvend. This is done by the function xsolvend. Because the differential equation is complex, I use genfit. For this I need the function xsolvend_fit which contains the derivative after the fitting parameter a. The numerical solution of the differential equation with determination of the final value works. Hello,Is it possible to link two mathcad sheets where one will be opened and the other is closed. The opened one will be set to a certain variable ( allowable stress design), and the closed one is set to a different variable( Strength Design). i need to import certain values from one sheet to another. the reason why i dont want to have one open becuase each sheet is about 25MB and if i have both opened along with other softwares, mathcad 15 will become extremly slow?Thanks!

Hi, looking at returning resulting objects from a change task using PersistenceHelper.manager.navigate(Persistable arg0, String arg1, Class arg2 ).    I'm not sure what should I use for the String arg1 argument. Hopefully it's possible to retrieve it with that api.       I would imagine it would look like PersistenceHelper.manager.navigate(<theChangeActivity>, ?, ChangeRecord2.class)   Just not sure what's the correct input there.  

Hi all,  I am using Windchill 11.0 M030-CPS15 I want to get latest revision of a WTPart using Rest API.   I tried to use filter, $filter : latestiteration eq true ;but not getting using this also.   eg. A.1 and B.1 and B.2 I only want to fetch the latest i.e B.2   Is there any way to get the latest version of a part through Rest API?    

  Hello,   I have data X and Y. I have set up 4 different models for these data. I would like to evaluate the significance of the models. You can see in the graph that model 2 (green) is the best. I want to achieve this result not by looking, but by using a correlation coefficient. My problem is that none of Mathcad's correlation coefficients give correct results. In Mathcad help, the Pearson correlation coefficient is often used for such purposes. From a workshop on Mathcad or from Wikipedia I know the general measure of determination. This provides plausible results. Only when the deviation is too large, as in model 1, does it deliver values greater than 1. Does anyone have an idea why this is the case? Thank you very much. Dear all, I have just install Mathcad prime 7.0.0.0 with a trial license. However, It seems that the program does not work as it always shows the error " Cannot understand this syntax" even the simple calculation like 1+1=. All other functions do not work as well, although the program has been activated successfully. Please let me know how to fix the issue. Thank you very much Best wishes,

Hello,I recently install Creo parametric 2.0 due to customer request. When I use the measure function, the program crashes.I also use Creo 6.0 but this problem does not arise. Maybe some problems with graphic settings.Thank you in advance.Marco

I am trying to solve this equation using iteration and a solve block for Q without previously defining Q as for my application I would not have the value for Q. Am I on the right track here and if not could somebody point out my mistakes? All of my other variables are previously defined and the only thing I don't have defined is Q. I want to be able to spit out a value for Q given all the other variables definitions. Thanks in advance! First time using this. Short summary, looking to block "Design" view BOMs from being sent to ERP Connector (SAP). I am using preference "Business Rule set to inhibit production BOM publishing" and I have loaded a custom Attribute business rule. I have also set my DT value for "Always publish Production BOM..." to no. Sry I cannot post text of Business Rule but here it is: Simple rule that should be true if view=Design. Except that I am still getting Design View BOM Headers in my export when the Change Notice is released. Do I have the right attribute for "view"? I often wonder where the source of the exact names is so I can look them up? I've seen it in the ESIResponseMetaInfo.xml as "view.identity" so I could be wrong there. Is the value right? I know that Design in DB is actually 1445. How can you test a business rule to know if its working? I did not see that in the documentation. Any logs that can be turned on to show it being evaluated? I have a datatable having fielddefinitions of datatype infotable(5 rows & 5 columns). I want to update those infotables fielddefinitions using script. I am trying to pass values in a query of UpdateDataTableEntriesWithQuery. But its not working!!

Hello!   There is a problem with the filter widget. After binding it to the service I click "Configure Data Filter Fields", uncheck the boxes and change the fields names. But nothing changes in the mashup. The number and names of the fields remain the same as they were received from the service.

Hi Guys, So i have an equation that can't solve with with units (except in a solve block, which isnt optimal for me) if i strip the units the equation solves perfectly. I really hope some of you wise mathcad experts can help me.

have Creo Parametric 7.0.2 Educational version on Win10 with Visual Studio 2019 (16.10.3). I wanted to try VB API and have set-up everything as per vbug - I have registered the COM as admin and the PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE is set as system-level variable to a working path.   When loading VB examples from the installation folder I found that I had to remove pfcls from references and add a fresh reference as per vbug to "Creo Parametric Type Library for Creo Parametric". This new reference was bound as pfc (Interop.pfc in object browser). I changed few imports in the vb examples to replace (string) pfcls with the new reference pfc.   Everything looked well apart from - IpfcAsyncConnection, CCpfcAsyncConnection or anything with word Async is just not included in the COM above. I tried searching for connection method in case AsyncConnection got deprecated but no luck. I also tried referencing the dll manually from Creo 6 on the same machine but I can't see in (com) object browser anythin

Need to check whether logged in user is in Administrators group or not using Thingworx service.   As I checked there is no specific service related to this or list of users in Administrators group can also help.   Please let me know if I can get this Info using any inbuilt thingworx services.

If I click the next button it shows me the next sequence and if the prev button then it shows me prev sequence. How can I do that?
