Hi,  I'm trying to combine two analytics-related services- the first one ('createDataset2' in the attached images) creates an analytics dataset using the "AnalyticsDatasetRef" that outputs a dataset ID that I will later feed into the createJob() service under the Analytics Training_Thing. However, before I train a model, I want to make sure that the Dataset creation job is 'completed', and I can check this using the getJobStatus() service under the Analytics Data_Thing. In my service, I first call 'createDataset2' to create the analytics dataset, and then have a while loop that calls the getJobStatus() service until I get a return value of 'COMPLETED', indicating that the dataset creation is complete. I've tested both parts of the service individually and they work, but when I combine them I get an output error (attached) that I'm unsure of how to debug. I'm thinking that the while loop may be causing issues- any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have used ImportUserPermissions in CollectionFunctions to import the permission file which i exported from another server. now where i can check the permission file successfully installed in thingworx.

Hi All,   A subscription was deleted but even after the deletion whenever the event is triggered an error pops in the log saying the subscription (deleted one) is not found.   Error Message :  'Event handler <subscriptionName> not found. Cannot execute Subscription'   Thanks in Advance Srijith

Hello Everyone! We recently upgraded to Creo 6 and i have noticed different behavior regarding display of datum curve features.  I'm looking for the config option to enable the "show datum curve features" by default, anyone know the answer?  

While importing datatable iam getting this error- "Task-1626848130807 Data Import FAILED for [DataTable] [XXX_Datatable]. Entity does not exist". How to handle it?

On clicking logout button, it needs to be land on organisation page. If i need to provide organisation page url for redirectURL of logout button means, syntax will be<server name>/Thingworx/FormLogin/<Organization Name>.   The server name differs system to system. I want to provide this dynamically. 1. So when the user logging in the organisation page, any possibility is there to store the url in session variable? So that i can reuse the url for logout widget redirectURL. 2. (or) any other way is there to get server name of any server dynamically using service??

Hello,   i have a problem. In my drawing, a component that I added as a STEP file from an external source is displayed with all of its edges. This error only occurs with the parts that I add externally. How can I set that only the visible edges are displayed for these components? Attached you will find a picture.   Thanks!

I have installed ThingWorx 9.2 and I'm attempting to import some entities into the platform, but I need to have the MailServer extension installed first.  I do not see the MailServer extension for 9.2 available on the download page, and the 9.1 extension is not importing. I'm getting the below error messages:   Export file missing version information. No migration will be performed. Deprecated extension structure: The element, DataShapes, was found in metadata.xml and is a deprecated pattern for defining DataShapes in an extension. Please refer to Project and Extension File Structure in the ThingWorx Extension Development Guide for more information.   Has anyone else gotten the MailServer extension to work on 9.2?  If so, did you have to hack on the 9.1 version, or did PTC provide something?   Thanks

Hi All,   I am trying to add a new Resource when creating a Extension in Eclipse. But I am getting an error as " Please choose a valid Superclass - Class is not instance of: com.thingworx.resources.Resource". Attached the screenshot with the post.   Any idea, why this error is thrown.   NOTE: I have included the SDK zip while creating the project itself. In addition to above, I also tried after adding few external JAR files to the project library.   Has anyone faced this error.   Thanks in Advance. Bhushan

Hello everyone, The data points of a 3D surface are supplied in the accompanying worksheet. I'm looking for a slice of the surface at any azimuth angle. Through interpolation, I was able to extract the function that describes the surface. The function slice(phi) was subsequently constructed to slice the surface at any angle phi. Due to missing points on the original data on the rim, the interpolated function shows irrational behavior around the edges (except at zero and half-pi angle). In this example, the rim is a circle of diameter of 15.8.   What are your recommendations for dealing with this issue?   I am grateful for your aid.Best,Payman

I have the following relation in my relations for a BOM that simply removes the specified cage code:     IF exists("asm_mbr_cagecode") IF asm_mbr_cagecode == "12345" my_cagecode = " " ELSE my_cagecode = asm_mbr_cagecode ENDIF ENDIF      Which has worked as intended, EXCEPT I am now noticing that there are a few parts in my BOM that are pulling the incorrect cage code from another unrelated part. Without the relation, I don't have this issue. Not sure where this issues may be coming from.

I updated the mashup. But iam unable to save it. The popup shows- "Saving: Unable to update mashup".  Why such errors are occuring? I didnt find any errors in logs. I attached image.

I'm trying to find what table is used for the EPMDocument Uses tab.  I could not find anything in the reporting resource.  I am trying to get a single level BOM report of all latest EPMDocument assemblies to export and compare to another system.  Does anyone know what this table is?

@LucMeekes ....With your help from my previous post , I was able create a n excel table based on the timing matrix (both attached, plot the  waveform and then calculated average Power dissipation in a cycle... Can i do the same plot and find average  using range variable(from time vs power matrix), there by i can skip the excel part of it? Can you show me an example? Thank you Jacob
